"Very enjoyable short stay despite the weather!"
It would have been useful to have instructions for the cooker which we had difficulty getting to grips with.

"This is a really nice, clean property in a great location."
The apartment is in the basement of a modern development, with secure, gated parking and a separate side gate for easy access to the path that runs down into the centre of Lyme Regis. There is a small outside area, although is shaded in the evening, along with a communal garden area for the whole block of apartments. It takes about ten minutes to walk down the hill into the town or down the Cobb hill to the sandy beach. Obviously it takes a bit longer to walk back up but we were able to enjoy a walk down to the seafront before breakfast and not having to pay for parking in the town can save you up to £15 a day. The property is a good size, comfortable and surprisingly quiet, although there can be some road noise, but this is not intrusive. I would definitely stay at his property again when visiting Lyme Regis.

"Really lovely apartment, so clean and well equipped."
Welcome pack very much appreciated. Thank you.

"Excellent apartment, lovely new and comfortable furniture and a good location."
Spotlessly clean and very spacious. The private parking was really useful. The walking distances listed to the beach etc. seem a bit optimistic unless you are a very fast walker. If guests walk down the Cobb Road there is no footpath for part of it so it probably isn't ideal with children/pushchairs etc.
We're so pleased to hear that you enjoyed your holiday. The apartment is fairly centrally located within the town, and we describe the distances to local amenities in distances rather than time taken to walk, as a guide, appreciating everybody has different walking speeds. "Hill a bit steep apparent excellent, clean and comfortable."
We have already recommended it to friends. Would definitely stay again.
Thank you for recommending the apartment to your friends. We're so pleased that you enjoyed your stay. We always say to guests that Lyme has a few hills - it's fine going down them but you always have to walk back up! The Lyme Bay Team Property Owner

"Both my Wife and I enjoyed our stay at Buckfields."
The property was fine warm and comfortable. In consideration of the time of year - returning to the apartment after our daily travels, was a pleasure. Would suggest though - perhaps a blind instead of the curtain on the window adjacent to the bus stop and maybe some more cutlery ? Very minor though - not really that important !
I'm glad that you enjoyed your stay and thank you for your feedback which I will pass onto the owner for consideration. Property Owner

"There was no information on how to use the lift key pad to get it down to the basement, we found the correct key pad numbers by accident."
There was absolutely no information on how to use an of the electrical appliances including the storage heaters or tv. The storage heaters were not left on for us so the flat was cold and the blower heater does not provide hot air.

"Had a lovely holiday in Lyme Regis."
The apartment was clean and spacious. It was in a good location for the town and restaurants. The accommodation was quiet and had an outdoor space. On site parking was a bonus and the welcome pack much appreciated. A clock in the living area would be useful but overall I would recommend the accommodation to friends and family. Have used Sykes holiday accommodation a number of times and have not been disappointed with any of the properties we have visited.

"This is the second time I’ve booked a holiday through Sykes and both times I’ve been impressed by the quality and high standards of the accommodations and the accuracy of the description of the property facilities, how to access it and write up of local amenities etc."
I would definitely recommend booking through Sykes Holidays and I’m already planning my third holiday through them.

"The apartment was in a great location in regards to accessing town on foot."
It’s quite a steep hill though so people with mobility issues may struggle. The apartment had pretty much everything you needed, including an ironing board and hair dryer, which other reviews said was missing. The bed was comfy and the welcome pack was very much appreciated. There are a few niggles, the TV aerial didn’t work very well so we only had BBC1, but there is an aerial for the whole block of flats on the opposite wall, so maybe running a cable to that would give a better signal? The dressing table had a selfie lamp with no plug, whilst odd, the light on it would have been useful for makeup due to the low light levels in the room; but even better would be a mirror to do your makeup there alongside the light that’s been part provided. Some instructions for the oven would also be useful. We liked the apartment, however if you are looking for somewhere to relax in the outside space, this might not be it. The apartment is next to a very busy road, so there is constant noise, even when the doors or windows are just open, it’s very intrusive. There is a bus stop next to the apartment and the people on the double decker bus can see right into the apartment, so some blinds on the living room windows. The terraced area gets the sun in the morning but is shady in the evening.

"We really enjoyed our stay."
The apartment was very comfortable and spacious. The location was good with only a short walk to the shops/beach (although note that it’s quite a steep hill). The whole family really liked the apartment and we’d definitely consider staying there again.

"Lovely property."
Clear instructions for arrival and departure. Would love to stay again. Thank you!

"Beautiful apartment, clean, spacious, tastefully decorated."
Beds really comfy. Kitchen well equipped. Loved it! Could have done with a mirror at the dressing table in the master bedroom and couldn't find any instructions to work appliances there, other than that we had everything we needed for a lovely holiday. Thank you

"Lovely flat, pristine and well equipped."
Had to call office as unable to access normal TV channels initially. Owner needs to sort this. Noisy busy road at side of outside patio. Excellent central location.
-
"Very nice, great to have milk and bag of goodies on arrival."
only points were could you label the bin store and the keys to make it easier. but an amazing stay. thank you

"The apartment was beautiful!"
exactly like the pictures, we felt like we were the first ever people to stay there! The kitchen was well stocked with utensils etc and the location was central for getting about. We would definitely stay there again and we will be recommending the apartment to our friends. The owners of the property should be so proud of their beautiful apartment.

"Lovely modern apartment, light and airy everything we needed and secure parking."
We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. We have stayed in many Lyme Bay Holiday properties and have found the staff are very helpful and quick to rectify any issues if you have one. The welcome pack is great too!

"The apartment is furnished beautifully but I suggest that a curtain or blind be fitted to the window in the living room that looks out over the street."
There is a bus stop directly outside the window and people on the bus can see straight in. Another suggestion is that an iron and ironing board be made available and possibly a hair dryer. The welcome pack was very generous with lovely local items. I would be very happy to stay at this property again.
