  • "It was really wonderful to rent both number 2 and number 3 together for our group."

Although the website does say you can do this, it’s not so prominent. The interconnecting door makes it very simple once you arrive. Both apartments had amazing views - like the photos but better! And both were really well equipped - even for eating in. We loved the refurbishment quality and design which made it very comfortable. Understanding how to offload luggage and parking on Broad St on arrival are essential. Great to have a parking place around the corner to be able to come and go freely without worrying about where to park on return!

  • "Excellent property, the only drawback is the steep steps up to it which were a bit challenging in the unseasonable rain that we had."

It was spotlessly clean and comfortable. There was an excellent range of dishes etc and the store to put beach things was greatly appreciated. The owners had really thought about the needs of a family beach holiday. Would definitely book again.

  • "Love the apartment, one of the cleanest and best refurbished we’ve used, and the parking is of course a bonus in Lyme."

Only concern is level of noise through access door to upstairs flat.

  • "Wow - really spacious, clean and well thought out property."

We rented this for a few days in addition to the upstairs. This enabled us to have a wonderful stay with the family. The view is fantastic and the access direct to the front is really useful be it for the beach or restaurants and pubs by the Cobb. Having booked both properties owned by the owners over the years it is lovely to see additional features each visit.

We are delighted you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for the feedback. As you discovered, it is possible to book flats 2 and 3 at the same time, which together sleep 6. We can also open up the adjourning internal staircase, creating one flat on two levels with three bedrooms, three bathrooms and two large reception areas. John and Kate (Owners) Property Owner

  • "Too few clothes Hanger's, too few plastic bin liners, outside could do with a good sweeping, great view and very warm, lovely shower and bathrooms but sound proofing with upstairs was not good."

Thank you for your comments. We welcome observations on how to improve the experience of our guests. The outside has now been given a thorough sweep, and the Lyme Bay cleaners, who do a wonderful job inside, will now do the outside as part of their routine. They will also make sure there are plenty of bin liners. Future guests will also enjoy clothes hangers in abundance. We hope to see you again soon. John and Kate (Owners). Property Owner

  • "The outside steps smell of drains and the whole outside area looks unkempt and slippery underfoot."

We love this cottage but it is becoming more difficult for my friend to access as she is getting unsteady on her feet. This is probably our last visit. Also - couldn’t find a corkscrew!

We're sorry to hear of the issues you experienced and will organise for our team to look into these. As a local agency in Lyme we are more than happy for our guests to contact us regarding any issues during their stay, as we are able to attend and put things right so that they can enjoy their holiday. • "We had a lovely stay at 2 Beachway house."

We stay in lyme regis every year, so know the town and area well. The property is well presented and all in very good condition. We enjoyed having access to both marine parade and the short cut through to Broad Street. We did find the wifi access very frustrating at times and having stayed in other properties on marine parade know that it can be significantly better. I would very much encourage that the owner strongly considers purchasing a booster as opposed to relying on the wifi box in 3 beachway house as providing sufficiently strong wifi signal. I hasten to add that we did not have strong demands on the Internet, but when we did need to use it, the access could not be relied upon.

Thank you for your comments. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. We have acted on your suggestion to install a new Wi-Fi for this flat. Future guests will benefit from a strong signal. We look forward to seeing you again. John and Kate (Owners) Property Owner

  • "Excellent location for stepping out into Lyme Regis and view from the picture window in living area."

Furnishings basic, kitchen well stocked with cooking implements, good showers in bathroom and en-suite. One negative for us was the 2 single beds in the second bedroom were very narrow. I’m only 5’2”, small build and I found them a little uncomfortable. Ideal base for a short break.
