  • "We enjoyed our stay in Bedrock."

Thank you so much for the very generous welcome pack which was much appreciated. The cottage is in a great location and we liked eating in the garden. Points to note: a Smart TV, dishwasher, better quality bed linen and some kitchen condiments e.g. oil, salt and pepper would be good. The pack up at the end was too stringent, it's not the Covid period anymore, having to clear everything, wash up put away, strip beds, put rubbish out etc was quite a chore and by 10am. I think you could relax that. But a good place overall, thanks.

We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay at Bedrock. We do not insist on guests stripping beds on departure, but simply ask if they are willing and able to do so, as this assists with the change over. As it is a self-catering cottage it is standard procedure for guests to leave the property in a reasonable state ready for the change over team (putting rubbish out for collection, putting on the dishwasher etc). The tv is connected to the internet and therefore can be used as a Smart tv. • "The property was lovely , great location Clean and Tidy ."

It was slightly annoying that the wall in the kitchen is constantly crumbling . Ends up all over the work surface and sink area .easy fix ! Also the shower could have been better in the bathroom , these are not in any way criticisms . As our party’s over all experience was great . The welcome packs are amazing

Thank you for your feedback. With this being a character property built of Blue Lias on which Lyme Regis is built, this is an inherent characteristic of this type of stone, the walls are regularly coated to mitigate this as best possible. The shower is a good quality electric shower and has always received positive feedback, and there is a powerful handheld shower available also. Property Owner

The Town Mill Bakery and Mill were particularly hits with us, and so much to do besides. Thanks for the welcome bag of treats.

  • "Lovely cottage in a ideal location great for the beach, shops and restaurants."

Well equipped with everything you would need for your stay.the only down side was I stayed in the front bedroom and there were vans ,lorries and cars constantly to be heard from six in the morning every day, may be some sort of secondary glazing to keep the noise down would be a suggestion?
