"As described the cottage is full of character and very central."
It is well appointed with equipment and the bathrooms are newly refurbished. All of the beds are really comfortable. We had a lovely 4 night stay. 3 adults and 3 older children. However, the living area is very small and there is very little sound proofing between the floors. The stairs are very steep and the step deep so not suitable for small children or people with mobility issues.

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Lavender Cottage."
The location is perfect and the accommodation is cosy, homely and certainly met all of our needs. It was great to sit out in the garden too. We have been visiting Lyme for many years now but haven’t had the pleasure of staying at Lavender Cottage before - we plan to return to this little gem very soon!
We’re so thrilled you enjoyed your stay at our family cottage. We love it and so glad you do too Property Owner

"Beautiful cottage, love the history and the quirky nature of it."
Great location. Cosy and warm. Bed linen was lovely and clean.

"Great little cottage, would return even though it is tiny."
You need to be fit as the stairs are a challenge. Also you need to pay £65 for the week to park the car up a very steep hill.

"Lovely quirky property with interesting history."
Very close to all amenities. Very comfortable beds and warm house, lots of games and up-to-date television. Outside area small, not used due to rain. Would definitely return.

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lavender Cottage."
Thank you and we highly recommend.

"We loved our stay in individual Lavender Cottage, this was our second visit and we’ll be booking again next year."
We like the position, the little garden + table and parasol, quirkiness of the building and the coolness inside when it was extremely hot. Lavender Cottage is not over “done-up” and much to our taste. LB Holidays provided us with a hair dryer - it would be good if one was provided in the house, and a visitors book would be a welcome addition to get ideas of places and cafes/restaurants to visit.
Hi Elizabeth, thank you so much for your lovely review, we are so thrilled that you enjoy staying in our cottage, we still love and look forward to our visits over 20 years on, I do hope you and your family will visit again. Re your comment in respect of local places to visit & restaurant recommendations etc, there is a folder in the cottage that Lyme Bay Holidays provide with lots of local info which should help.
