  • "It is a lovely cottage, extremely well located and well stocked as other reviews have said."

Very clean and comfortable. We have had a lovely family beach holiday here - perhaps just wish the kitchen was ever so slightly larger and a few more TV options (no iplayer/Netflix/Prime) available would be nice for those with young children to soothe in the evening! But really, a perfect cottage, and fantastic customer service from Sykes. A very happy family here, thank you.

  • "This is a central property in a great location for exploring Lyme."

The host also provided a parking permit for a local car park, which was very helpful. The cottage was accurately described on the website and had comfortable beds and a decent shower, both often sadly lacking in some holiday rentals. Overall, it was a great place to stay and well-equipped for a holiday.

  • "This property is in a great location, very central and literally a couple of minutes from the sea."

It is light, bright and airy and extremely well equipped. There was nothing I needed and couldn’t find and in fact I found things I didn’t expect, including hairdryers in the double rooms, which was brilliant! I was also impressed at the amount of china, glass, cups and cutlery were provided, making life much easier. We would definitely stay again!

Thank you very much for this great review! We are pleased you enjoyed your stay. Property Owner

  • "The cottage was extremely well equipped and generally clean and comfortable."

As we were all ladies we did miss a mirror as there was not one in all bedrooms. I did find the picture of the cottage a bit misleading as I was under the impression that the yellow cottage next door was Monmouth cottage and this is what we were looking for when we arrived. You will know that we did have an issue with cat/dog poo on the carpet behind the blue chair in the 1st floor front bedroom reported to you on Friday. However we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the cottage was a delight in spite of this.

Thank you for your comments, we will change the exterior photo to make it clearer which one the property is! The Lyme Bay Team Property Owner

  • "My 2 friends and I really enjoyed our stay in this cottage."

Clean, light with great flow to the lounge/dining area. Great location in the centre of town with restaurants and art shops on your doorstep.

  • "This is a lovely cottage with a very handy position in the heart of Lyme."

We found all the facilities well maintained and extremely clean and tidy. We particularly enjoyed the 'Goody Bag' Welcome Pack which helped a lot! I liked the easy key collection system. The allocated parking space was very helpful! The only slight problem we encountered was in trying to navigate the recycling and rubbish instructions. We weren't sure if we should leave rubbish out for collection as we weren't leaving on a collection day.
