  • "Fabulous cottage plenty of space for us all."

    Perhaps a TV upstairs would be good for the kids. Beds were a bit too hard but that’s the only thing we’d change. But, could be perfect for other visitors. Definitely recommend but only for those able bodied due to the hills etc. great place to stay in a beautiful location!

The kitchen enjoys a sleek design and comes with everything you could possibly need to prepare a picnic for the next day’s beach day or to rustle up delicious evening meal by making the most of the electric oven, gas hob, fridge and separate freezer.

As the evening grows darker, make your way upstairs to the first floor, where you will find a family bedroom with a bunk bedroom and twin beds, perfect for children or groups of friends, whilst the second-floor plays host to two double bedrooms, which enjoy a refreshing décor with several nautical touches.

Look forward to waking up every morning and admiring the coastal views before refreshing in the family bathroom, complete with a walk-in shower and a separate bath, allowing you to choose how best to prepare for you day.

From here, open up the door to find the terrace garden, where table and chairs are situated for enjoying alfresco dining and steps down take you to a barbecue area, for rustling up tasty summer treats.

For days out, be sure to head to Chiswell Beach, an 18-mile long shingle barrier beach stretching from West Bay to Portland, offering a superb walk and an opportunity to soak up the sun.

Immerse yourself in the local history by visiting the 16th century castle with a heritage garden and tea rooms, offering spectacular sea views, or travel further afield to Weymouth, home to a museum, Sandsfoot Castle and the Nothe Fort.
