  • "The alarm radio doesn‘t work on mains supply."

The batteries inside were heavily corroded, so I removed these and cleaned up the battery compartment. The antenna tip has been broken off at sometime in the past. There is a small gap forming in the silicon sealant on the back wall of the shower tray. The apartment is in immaculate condition and has been skillfully designed and constructed.

  • "Nice flat well equipped and mostly clean."

The volume and proximity of the road makes it feel like a city centre, not relaxing! Anyone with mobility problems or small children would really struggle with the road. Nice dog walks but non without very steep hills involved. OK for a short break but we won't be returning.

  • "We had a lovely stay at the apartment, it had everything needed for a holiday let."

Had read reviews about the road being noisy but this wasn’t the case for us, we had some good sleeps, so no bother for us. Perfect little pad

  • "It was a great stay."

Nice and central with most things in walking distance. Parking was an issue on the weekend and cars driving up the hill next to the house did cause a lot of noise but if the windows were shut you couldn't hear it.

  • "Overall the flat was very convenient, we loved the washer/dryer and dishwasher as it made our stay a little easier."

The bathroom was lovely and in general there was plenty of space for 2 adults and our 6 month old. When we arrived there was mould on the travel cot and bedroom walls. We cleaned the travel cot as best we could for our first night and it was replaced the next day very quickly. The mould on the bedroom walls didn't make the room smell but it wasn't the most pleasant. The hallway in the building had quite a strong cigarette smoke smell from one of the other resident's flats. This smell has leached into flat so was a faint smell of smoke. It's not a big problem but once again not the most pleasant and maybe should be mentioned in the description. Another minor thing was that the bin instructions are outdated. The book talked about blue bin bags but there weren't any of that colour. Similarly we were given 2 bin bags for a tiny bin for a week long stay which seems a little stingy. Also there is no recycling bin in the kitchen even though there is space for one. It meant recycling was really hard and in the current climate this should be the main route for getting rid of rubbish.

  • "Thank you for a very nice stay."

Everything was tip top, clean, comfortable and available. Finding a suitable parking space for our rather large classic car was sometimes complicated but known in advance. Nice town, nice area.

  • "Brilliant location for us to explore Portland and surrounding areas."

Super clean and comfortable property with all amenities. Previous comments re parking difficulties were not experienced and we had no problems throughout the whole week. Highly recommended.
