  • "The accommodation was great."

Spacious enough for our family 4 and brilliantly located. Nice comfortable sofas and very well-equipped kitchen. The shower in the twin room was a little temperamental and it was a bit odd that the cupboard in the twin room was inaccessible be because of the bed and the one on the main bedroom was rammed with spare bedding so it would be difficult to hang up anything long. My only other comment would be that for what we paid it was surprising and disappointing for there not to be any kind of welcome basket. From our experience of other holiday homes, I thought these were pretty much standard these days with milk, biscuits, tea and coffee and often a bottle of wine provided. It was a bit irritating to have to go out and buy tea, coffee and milk as soon as we arrived when they could have been so easily provided. However, there were plenty of dishwasher tablets and Evo cleaning products.

  • "We had a great week at 3 Cobb View, the location is perfect and so close to everything."

The apartment was very clean, the fridge and kettle were sparkling.(We have had issues with these with other holiday let companies). The twin room could do with a rethink as you couldn't get to the cupboard, so perhaps a small rail and shelves at the end of the bed for clothes and some hooks on the wall. I agree with other reviews in the fact that the single beds were very hard and uncomfortable, ( and would put me off from staying there again ) so a change of mattresses would be ideal ( and we would come back ). Also having the shower switch in the bedroom is a bit chaotic having to get out the shower and step into the bedroom to turn the water off. The main lounge area was lovely with great views across to the Cobb and the rolling waves. Key collection and drop off was all very simple.

  • "The property is in a great location, with fantastic views."

The lounge and kitchen are well equipped and pleasant to be in. We had a problem with the boiler which Lyme Bay Holidays resolved within an hour which was excellent. Unfortunately the beds in the second bedroom are too uncomfortable to use, the mattresses are like concrete. After one night I woke with a trapped nerve in my back. The second night I attempted to sleep on the sofa and the third night I slept on the floor. After that we decided to cut our holiday short and go home to get some sleep.

  • "Beautiful views of the harbour."

Very comfortable. Squeaky double bed. Need a mobile mirror, as there's no socket near the existing mirror. Great situation close to shops, lovely walks and great pub, the Cobb Arms on the doorstep.

  • "Honestly the best holiday we've ever had!"

The accommodation is beautiful with gorgeous views over the cob and Monmouth beach. We saw fireworks on the last night from the comfort of our sofa. The beds were very comfortable, linen was clean and the property was beautifully decorated. We found fossils and collected sea glass at Charmouth, spent a small fortune in all the boutiques and fossil shops in Lyme Regis town, ate our weight in delicious ice-creams on the seafront and walked along Ammonite pavement at Monmouth. Survived a RIB speedboat ride, visited the interactive aquarium where the children held starfish and got to hand feed fish, went on a guided fossil hunt and paddleboarded to our hearts content. There's so much to do here! If you get the opportunity to choose this property to stay in...GRAB IT! You will make incredible memories.
