"It’s all about location, and this holiday chalet has that in spades!"
Yes, there are compromises to be made one of which is lack of storage in bedrooms. I agree with a previous review that a small unit with drawers to replace the bedside tables would be useful. Also, if you are not very tall the shelves in the bedroom, particularly the main one, are too high to be used. A couple of lower shelves, instead of the picture, would be a great help. We haven’t yet been put off staying here as we have returned home after our fourth stay, and we hope to return next year. I would like to say a thank you to the owner for putting in wifi, it has made a big difference.

Unfortunately the towel rail wasn't working. The chalet is a lovely place to stay.

"Chalet is lovely and in super position but two small things: No instructions readily available for oven and grill which we could not operate without said instructions."
Bedside tables would better if replaced by ones with drawers as there is lack of drawer-space for clothes.

My biggest complaints are There is no storage space for clothes no draws no wardrobe There is next to no room in the bedroom at all and if you are a tall person you would definitely struggle. There are two double beds but there is now way this property will fit 4 people There knives fork all cutlery is stored in pots on the tops And lastly the place is full of the owners clutter old books, old dishes, there is that much of the owner’s belongings stored in there that there is very little space to store your stuff

"This chalet for 2 overlooking the bowling green and sea is fantastic, lie ins , coffee on the veranda , I even went to the fisherman's catch shop 5mins away and got fresh scallops for 1."
50 each and had for lunch with a chilled chardonnay in fridge , the shops pubs with good restaurants and sandy beach are all 5 mins walk away. There is, most importantly, a numbered car space on the gated park outside chalet so no need to worrying about parking, or having wine for lunch! 2 bedrooms , max 2 adults ,so a double bed each( both are against a wall so worth doing, )one bedroom had patio doors to veranda so a sea view. There is everything you need at property even loo rolls, tea towels,towels , and seat cushions for patio furniture . I hope to visit again soon Visit 9 to 15 June 23

Very thoughtful welcoming goodies. Such a pleasure to return here again. Could not ask for a better location for the beach with spectacular views to enjoy day and night from the veranda.

The view is excellent from the balcony. Parking could be very tight for larger vehicles when busy. In general it is a nice holiday venue. Also very close to the amenities and sea front

"Chalet is in a good location especially during the bowls tournament which was on the week we stayed."
The only additional feature we would have liked was a small vacuum cleaner. We did enjoy a visit every morning of a Robin who was literally feeding from our hands!

we opened the fridge and found a wellcoming bottle of milk a bottle of wine, and some lemonade. And tea coffee and some delicious fudge and biscuits. Thanku so much for making our stay so special and relaxing..yours sincerely Gerald& Vanessa west....

8 Bowling Green Chalets is the perfect property for two adults.
Resting beside a bowling green, park off-road and head inside into a spacious open-plan living area where wooden flooring and white painted wood panelled walls spread throughout.
A sitting area with homely paintings of the harbour and a blue sofa offer a space to relax with a coffee before planning the day ahead of you, and a kitchen with ample amenities, white furniture and a handy bar area encourages you to cook up a storm before serving it at the dining space and note how the high ceilings and large windows make this space airy and light.
Two double bedrooms offer a place to cosy down for the night, continuing the wooden flooring and walls, and both with storage for your belongings as well as one having sliding glass doors which open up onto the decking area, both a great place for two adults to stay, and there is a blue tiled bathroom perfect for soaking the sand from your hair.
Outside, a decking area with a view to the bay, a great spot to enjoy the afternoon sunshine with dinner outside.
