  • "We have stayed at the property three times now and find it very convenient and comfortable."

We would like to stay here again but we’re very disappointed to have the parking taken away after we had booked. This prove very inconvenient as when we book with you we always choose places with parking, we were grateful for the refund We also find that Sykes do not provide the level of service that we had become accustomed to with Lyme Bay Holidays.

Toilet seat also does need attention.Although the flat is dog friendly it wouldn’t go amiss if the carpets were given a clean.Bit smelly.Apart from that good location.

  • "We have stayed with Lyme Bay holidays over 20 times now, this is one of the best properties we have stayed in."

Just 2 minor things, it needs a washing mashing not a dishwasher and the cot in the bedroom cupboard was very damp and musty. Otherwise it would be perfect.

  • "Really not up to the usual standard."

This is our 7th stay at a holiday home with you and this flat should not be on your listings. The bathroom has cracked tiles and dirty flooring around the sink. The kitchen is very basic. Why have a dishwasher when you have hardly any plates and bowls. We booked for three people but only two beds were made up. Very disappointing.

We are sorry to hear of your disappointment. The apartment is fairly new to us and achieved an independent property grading rating of a 3 tick. We do normally leave the sofa bed partially made-up with the duvet and pillows ready to use at night-time. The Lyme Bay Team Property Owner

  • "The description of this flat on both confirmation emails was that this was a first floor flat."

Unfortunately it was on the 2nd floor at the top of two flights of stairs, after having to walk right up a very steep hill, which we did not realise. The flat was immaculate and very well stocked. The exterior of the property needs lots of improvements carrying out to it. Very run down.

  • "The flat was at a very good standard in all departments especially cleanliness we enjoyed our visit the only criticism we weren’t allowed in until 1600 when we opened the front door it fell off it’s hinges the engineer was amazing but it made us even later going out a day gone shorten the time you can arrive (1400) would be good."

  • "I couldn’t find a hairdryer."

I think most places usually have one. A washing machine would be more useful than a big dishwasher as it’s usually just 2 people. The heaters were really hot during the night and impossible to regulate. But the flat was clean and spacious and quite comfortable and in a wonderful position. Lots of good equipment in the kitchen and sharp knives! Very unusual. Everywhere else we’ve stayed they’ve been blunt!

  • "We very much enjoyed our stay in the Lyme Regis flat."

Not only is the flat spacious, warm and comfortable, it is extremely well equipped. The property is in a good position in Lyme, and there's a sea view from the rear. A few steps down the road, go through a gate and into a lovely park, with a walk down to the sea, the beach and the famous Cobb. All in all, a lovely flat and excellent service.

  • "Lovely property with style and old times flair."

Impeccable facilities and pristine hygiene. Offering beautiful view onto the sea and the town. Very helpful having the house rules instructions. Desribed bags for the linen and rubbish to be placed in when leaving were missing, though. Would highly recommend the property and would love going back again.
