  • "This is a lovely little chalet, ideal for 2 adults, it was very clean and was supplied with all we needed."

The toilet was on the small side but adequate. Nice shower, you just need to adjust the shower head to an angle which prevents water escaping onto the floor. Sofa was on the firm side but the bed was most comfortable we have had in a holiday home. We spent all day out and about as the weather was superb. An extremely quiet location but so close to the centre of town and a bonus of being able to park right outside. We definitely would like to stay here again next year.

Thank you for this lovely feedback, I am so glad you had a good holiday. Property Owner

  • "Parking was fine, but could be an issue, with some people, parking inconveniently outside your property, each space should be numbered."

The parking is an informal arrangement set up many years ago. Many spaces, including mine, are numbered and we have always found people to be very respectful. I’m glad you didn’t have any issues. Property Owner

  • "We enjoyed our stay in Granny's Teeth, we loved how close it is to Monmouth and Front beach - a 5 minute walk (if that)."

Because we had such amazing weather we didn't need to make use of the huge selection of games and books but there are plenty to choose from. Parking is a little nerve-wracking but we were able to park right outside the property. Neighbours are friendly and the evenings were very peaceful.

I am so pleased you enjoyed your stay. We have always found the site quiet and friendly and have never not been able to use our parking space, though I know negotiating the site in a car can be a challenge! Property Owner

  • "Very little to fault about the property, cleanliness was first rate, bed comfortable, kitchen well equipped and as a bonus a washing machine, saving us bringing home two weeks of dirty laundry."

The view from the terrace was beautiful, looking towards the sea at sunset, whilst enjoying a cool drink. Only thing I could fault and it's probably minor, is that the sofa was a bit hard, maybe it needs new foam in the cushions.

I am so pleased you liked the chalet. I am on the lookout for a new sofa but have been unable to find anything similar as yet… Property Owner

  • "The property is very well located, very convenient for a family of 4 with kids, quick access to the water front."

Overall the property is ok, however the first impression when we opened the door was the closed up smell, I opened the windows for a while to try to ventilate a bit and also the top bed bunk bar is loose.

I am glad you enjoyed the chalet location. I was staying there for the week leading up to your arrival and we had the patio doors open a lot, so I think the smell you noticed was more probably that of the varnished wood panelling which can get strong on a warm day, as that Friday was. Thank you for alerting me about the bunk bed bar. Property Owner

  • "You won’t get bitten if you stay at Granny’s Teeth!"

It’s a perfect chalet and located in a perfect spot. The view is superb. Clean accommodation with everything you might need available. Lots of books and games to read or play, if you have time and energy after spending all day on the beach and in the sea! I would happily stay here again.

Thank you so much, I am glad you enjoyed the books and games. Property Owner

  • "Loved it but the loft ladder is an obstruction that could easily be resolved."

Cupbord next to toilet sink makes it hard to use the sink. Location perfect and quiet. We were sad to leave.

Thank you for your feedback. Apologies that the ladder was left out, it is usually packed away. We have ensured that this is done going forward. Very happy to hear you enjoyed your stay and hope to welcome you back soon. Property Owner
