• "The sea view was the reason that we chose the property and that did not disappoint."

  The central location was also excellent. The thermostat for the heating is pre set at 15c for morning and evening and although there is a manual override it reverts back to 15c after each heating period. As a result it was often cool when we returned and the towel rails did not come on in the morning until we woke up and did the override. The internet is very very slow - too slow to support i-player on the smart TV in the living area.

  I was very sorry to hear about your difficulties with the heating. I was contacted by Lyme Bay Holidays about this and gave advice and assumed that all was well as I did not hear further. The Hive thermostat can be adjusted by pushing the central dial and turning it to adjust to the desired target temperature (turn to the right to turn up the temperature and turn to the left to lower the temperature). The flat will then remain at the target temperature until it is adjusted again. There is also a 'heat boost' option which involves pressing the right button on the top of The Hive to choose a temperature boost for 1-6 hours. After the boost, the temperature will then return to the previously selected target. I am also sorry to hear about the problems with the Internet. I am afraid that all of the properties on the seafront have slow Internet that sometimes drops out because fibre optic is not yet available in this area. Typically, this does not prevent use of i-player or other Apps on the Smart TV. I regularly check whether fibre optic can be provided and will upgrade to this if and when it becomes available. • "This was our second year at Seahorse as we stayed there the same time last year as well."

  We had a very enjoyable stay again. It is a very comfortable appartment and fantastic location especially if you have young children or grandchildren in my case as you are so close to the seafront so you can come back very easily if one or the other of them is cold for example. Our complaint last year was that the shower did not drain very quickly but I can see that this has been fixed which was brilliant. This appartment is perfect for 2 adults and 2 children but as previous reviews have stated 4 adults would be a bit of a squeeze definitely. We all loved it and are hoping to come back again next year.

• "Lovely apartment with stunning views accross the pebble beach!"

  Could hear the sound of the waves at night, very relaxing. Restaurants, and amusements a short walk away - and we enjoyed mini golf and a fishing trip. Bathroom small as per previous feedback, but this was not an issue. Would be tight for 4 adults, but great for 2 adults and a teenager!!

  If we were to be hyper critical… There are far too many seats (and lamps) making the living space tight, the volume button on the TV sticks and one of the kitchen table chairs is wobbly. Unfortunately there’s no washing machine, which is a facility offered by other apartments in the block.

• "A lovely clean, light and airy holiday apartment with amazing views in a beautiful location."

  It was perfect for the 2 of us (might have been a squish for 4 adults). I would suggest more comfortable mattresses for the beds - they were a bit too soft and we tended to roll into each other a bit on the double. Also the bathroom (which is on the small side) could do with a bit of a spruce up, particularly round the bottom of the shower screen. Loved the main living area and kitchen - couldn’t fault them. Absolutely loved Lyme Regis. One other thing - black out blinds would be better in the bedrooms rather than Venetian- which let too much light in, hence woke up at 5 am each morning - not what you want on holiday!

• "Couldn’t be a better location."

  Perfectly equipped and makes for a lovely break away. I was concerned about not being able to park our side but it really wasn’t an issue. It was easy enough to get a space to unload and then parked the car up for the week - we hardly used it at all.

• "A comfortable, clean apartment."

  Views are stunning. As others have said, the bathroom is rather compact, but this is only a minor complaint. Loved that The Kiosk was just down below and they do the most wonderful bacon bagels! A very convenient location indeed. I’m sure we will return.

• "Yes the 4 of us loved our stay in your property."

  Lovely setting, wonderful sea views and everything was close at hand. We had no problems with the wifi and everything we needed was in the apartment. The only suggestion we could make is to have more information about the attractions in the town and a map because we couldn’t find the red folder! We will be back!

• "Nice apartment with wonderful views, tastefully decorated."

  Major gripe: Wifi router is in the apartment next door, so signal is so poor that at times normal web browsing was impossible, let alone streaming. May not matter to some people though. Minor gripes: no bottle opener (there is now!) or scissors in the kitchen. Would I book again? No, Wifi problems were too stressful.
