  • "We had a lovely stay at the Snug, Check in was easy and all instructions given well in advance of arrival."

We were a party of 4 adults, a baby and a dog and the flat felt spacious and very comfortably, it was immaculately clean and stocked with everything you might need, the complimentary basket was a lovely welcoming touch. Thank you for memorable stay.

  • "Beautifully decked out property over 1st and 2nd floors, all the utensils, games and entertainment you could ask for, catering for all ages, not forgetting the generous hamper."

Very clean and comfortable, short walk to the beach, shops and eateries. We had a great time, thank you.

  • "We had the most amazing week staying at The Snug."

It had everything we needed and was super clean! If we had to find anything to mention, it would be a fan upstairs in the twin bedroom, we were lucky to have a beautiful weather week and it was so hot upstairs, we totally understand why the windows don’t open far for safety reasons but a fan would be great! Also it was slightly confusing which car park space was allocated to the property, so we went for the middle space and no one questioned us, but maybe a small sign or marking on the floor would be helpful. We honestly loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone- we were sad to leave.

  • "The property was easy to find and access."

It was impeccably clean and well-maintained. We loved our stay and will certainly look to return. The location is a great base to explore the island. Generous welcome hamper was provided and everything we needed was there.

Thank you, again, for a lovely welcome hamper and for all the home-from-home touches throughout this beautiful, spacious apartment which we can recommend without hesitation.

  • "Very impressive apartment - spotlessly clean, well-furnished, superbly equipped and the welcome pack was handy."

Good location as well - for the beach, the beachside gastropub and the bus stops going to The Needles, Freshwater, Yarmouth, Newport etc.

  • "A thoroughly enjoyable third stay at The Snug."

Once again, a generous welcome hamper was provided. Very comfortable beds, plentiful hot water, lovely bath sheets and a well equipped kitchen made for a relaxed holiday. Everything has been well maintained within this beautiful bright apartment and it was as good as the first time we visited. The Snug is a credit to its owners.

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Snug."

The welcome pack was very generous, the apartment was warm and well equipped and the beds comfortable. It was fairly easy to get to the rest of the Island.

  • "Great property, in fab location for walking and enjoying the western end of the island."

Some previous visitors used the guest book to report maintenance issues. We woyld rather have a seperate book to let owners know of anything that needs repairing, is faulty, would benefit from a minor upgrade or just needs new bulb etc.. We would have benefited from instructions on the use of the heating thermostat. A hook to hang dressing gown in small shower room would be helpful. Outside lamp not working. We could not get BBC 1 or2 on the lounge telly. The kichen is well equiped and bathrooms are both very nice too.The welcome hamper was very generous. Thank you

Very clean (unlike most holiday cottages we've stayed in!) Lots of home comforts and generous touches (hamper & dog treats!) Thank you for a lovely stay

  • "The Snug is so beautifully finished."

It has been well thought out and the space is quirky and cute at the same time. Everything was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped and we had a lovely welcoming basket. We sadly had issues with WightFibre digging up the path outside The Snug from Monday-Thursday on an evening. We tried to contact Sykes to ask why we weren’t warned and WightFibre were adamant that they had told all residents. Tuesday night was awful with very loud roadworks until 1am. It was so bad that we looked at somewhere else to stay for the rest of the break. Being told about the roadworks prior to our stay would have been helpful as 2 evenings were spoilt by noise and made relaxing impossible. Such a shame as we really needed rest!

  • "The Snug is beautifully appointed, spacious, bright, well equipped and very comfortable indeed."

A lot of thought has gone into the renovation and decoration of this apartment. With the second bedroom being on a separate floor it affords users a great deal of privacy. We appreciated the generous and thoughtful welcome basket upon arrival. The Snug is ideally placed for the #7 bus route (half hourly service) and for walks from the doorstep. It would be helpful to have a sign on the exterior wall, and perhaps dotted lines too, to clearly demarcate The Snug's allocated parking space from the other adjacent spaces. We very much enjoyed our stay here and would be happy to stay at The Snug again.

We had an absolutely wonderful time, populated with long walks, ice cold swims and cozy evenings in. The apartment is beautifully done and to a very high standard. The kitchen is extremely well equipped making cooking there a joy. The place has everything you could need and is very homey. We especially liked the Scrabble game and the ginormous TV! Would 100% recommend and 100% go back again.
