"We had a great stay and would certainly stay again."
The only reason I marked down on cleanliness was because there was a dirty cooking tray in the oven and there was quite a few dead flys and spiders around. This didn’t affect our stay at all. My children loved every minute of it. Especially meeting the cat. It was very nicely decorated and was In a very nice area and very local to shops and activities. It was a home away from home. Thank you very much for having us.

"This has been our 3rd stay at the old cottage and as always a pleasure, Only two minor points: 1."
Smart TV situated upstairs in the games room snug had no signal, just a little extra for the kids if they wanted to watch something else whilst the parents are watching the main TV. 2.Freezer top compartment needs defrosting as ice building up making it difficult for food storage. Other than that, perfect!

"A lovely, cosy cottage."
Clean, comfortable and well-appointed. Bathroom taps need some attention as they're very hard to turn but the shower is good. Everything else is in very good condition. Very convenient for visiting nearby attractions. Excellent pub within walking distance but be sure to book for a meal as it's very popular. The traffic noise was a bit loud at night but it didn't spoil the holiday.

"A really nice little cottage in a great location."
Very easy to get to most places nearby and especially the beach. Was very peaceful but it is near a main road, so if you’re not used to road noise it may disturb you, I’m a light sleeper! Was very clean and well equipped.

"Lovely place, enjoyed the welcome pack in the kitchen."
Well equipped, great to have a mid-size fridge/freezer rather than a larder fridge. Had everything required for our week away, finally got to meet the cat on our last evening. Pub was good up the road. Only drawback was the road noise.
-
"Great experience overall and will no doubt use you again."
Just a little snag though, when opening the downstairs WC door it gets stuck and makes a horrible screeching noise as it rubs on the floor tiles needs shaving underneath also dinning room chairs could do with felt pads affixed to the bottom legs of the chairs as they also screech when moved around on the tiles. Other than that, all good.
-
"Great location, beautiful cottage."
Only wish the bathroom was upstairs with the bedrooms.
-
"Lovely cottage in good location, enjoyed our stay and really pleased with the communal space with table tennis etc was perfect to keep my kids amused!"
-
"Very well equipped cottage."
Had everything that we needed for our stay. The basket of cleaning products etc were much appreciated. Also the beverages, biscuits etc. We made full use of the games room too. Enjoyed our stay in The Old Cottage + would recommend it.
-
"Enjoyed our stay at the old cottage had everything we needed very clean and tidy."
had a small problem with the shower Andrew did everything to fix it but couldn't get the part before we were due to leave plenty places to visit nearby would stay again.

"Excellent conversion of old outbuilding to comfortable holiday let suitable for a couple or couple +1."
Loved the oak doors. All fittings and fixtures worked well. A very enjoyable stay.
-
"The cottage was well equipped and very cosy."
Perfect for 3.(We were 2 adults and a 10yr old). Perhaps a bit of a squash for 4 especially if they were all adults. Magnificent shower with plenty of hot water and very comfortable beds and chairs. The side tables need renewing as do most of the pillows. I would have appreciated a brush to sweep the floors and perhaps a bottle of cleaning fluid.

"Lovely property."
Well maintained and clean. Very helpful arrival e mail. Lovely local pub and close to all amenities. Second time I have stayed in the complex and would definitely return. Thank you.

"Beautiful little cottage with everything needed for a pleasant, comfortable stay."
Ideal base for exploring Somerset. Would highly recommend.

"The cottage was a lovely building lots of original features but the furniture in the lounge let it down it needs updating very uncomfortable The kitchen was well equipped and the appliances were good The bedrooms were ok but when I stripped the single bed ( we had asked for the king size bed to be made up but 2 singles instead) the quilt was badly stained."
It’s ok if you want to drive everywhere but there is nothing in the village only pub, church, Chinese a one hour 10 minute walk into Weston super mare would not want to return.

"2 bedroom cottage but very small would not like to see 4 people in there, very ..."
2 bedroom cottage but very small would not like to see 4 people in there, very busy and noisy main road running next to property, no proper outside space for children as courtyard was all stone and not very private when all 3 properties are occupied
-
"Lovely well maintained cottage - had everything we needed for a relaxing short break."
Good local walks.
-
"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Old Cottage."
It is comfortable and very well equipped particularly the kitchen. We had a problem during our stay meaning we had no hot water for several days, however the owners did their best to sort the problem and we were comfortable with heaters and the use of a shower next door. We will definitely be staying at the Old Cottage again in the near future.

"I would just like to say that over the years I have been hiring cottages and this one was by far the best I have been in."
Thank you owner
-
"Lovely cosy cottage feel yet with all mod cons."
Clean. Loved the table tennis, good table. Well equipped. Needed more mugs. Dishwasher small but efficient enough tablets left for whole week. New chairs and settee since picture, very comfortable. Bathroom very warm for feet. Shower in bath, a grab handle would have been nice. Stairs have gaps at back, so not suitable for small children. Great Broadband speed, we did lots of Zooming, we got 35 mbps. Patchy data and phone signal inside the cottage. Beach and supermarkets about 7 mins drive. Wells cathedral lovely. Hoping to go back.

"This is a small but tastefully furnished and decorated cottage which was better than we thought from the photos."
The kitchen was also well equipped. On the first morning, due to the heavy rain, we had a problem with the drain in the bathroom which was quickly sorted out. The cottage is well situated, we didn't find the adjacent road too loud. Make sure you book if you want to eat at the pub up the road! Don't miss Brean Dean and beach which are beautiful and have all you need for a day at the beach: car parks (preferably arrive before 11am), toilets, café, ice creams, shallow, warm sea perfect for young children, gorgeous walk up Brean Dean... We had a lovely holiday!

"Great location, perfect for couple or small family."
Includes everything you need; kitchen facilities, parking and shared games room etc
-
"Difficult to make the double bed as to near the wall Needed more mugs"
-
"The property was very good for the two of us."
It had everything we needed and was reasonably clean. The only minor points are that being close to the road there was some noise from cars going by the cottage and the kitchen table, whilst fine for 2, would be quite cramped for four, especially 4 adults.
-
"THERE IS A NICE COUNTRY PUB A LITTLE UP THE ROAD WITH GOOD FOOD BEER AND A WARM SAFE WELCOME."
-
"We feel some areas needed to be cleaned, new pillows on beds as we felt they were very flat, could of done with a proper ironing board, would of preferred a pint of milk, rather than small cartons, something if possible on the two windows upstairs because we feel it did not offer any privacy with bathroom being downstairs also during our stay we felt we could not use the games room due to what looked like painting and decorating stuff being stored."
-
"The cottage was much more basic than I'd anticipated and not as clean as it could have been especially given the minimalism of the furnishings."
Lacked a homely feel and was more like a holiday chalet.
-
"It was nice."
I don't think it's suitable for a family with young children. Very expensive area so won't be going on holiday to Weston super mare again. But it was an experience. Wookey hole and the pier were awesome. Had some paranormal experiences in the cottage. I don't know how old the building is due to never meeting the owner. But did see a book illustrating pictures of refurbishing the cottages.

"Lovely cottage in perfect location for visiting Somerset attractions."
-
"Great location, high standard interior - very good pub within 2 minutes walk."
The added bonus was the table tennis - great fun!
-
"Tea, coffee, milk and sugar ready for our arrival!"
It was such a pleasant surprise after a long journey. Small toys for the children to play with and a DAB radio!!! Spot on. Absolutely fantastic! We could not fault this beautiful place.
-
"The old cottage is warm and very comfortable, well laid out and very well equipped."
It is in an ideal location for exploring both coast and countryside. Margaret is extremely helpful and knowledgable and though we only met once we were assured that support would be readily given if needed. A welcome rest after a very hectic festive season. Thankyou. Jenny and Paul

"Excellent base for the purpose of my visit to the area."
Lovely to come back to a warm cottage where I could relax and prepare a meal if I wanted. Would definitely stay there again.
-
"They forgot to mention main road through Hutton only 4 feet from cottage."
Bristol airport flight path above jets from 5.00 am sunday morning not a good start to holiday . Bathroom so tiny it was 3ft 6inches from door to wall which includes basin.
-
"The cottage was lovely and a sun trap outside."
Locals friendly.
-
"The Cottage exceeded expectations - everything to make a Wonderful Holiday Home - even a Herb Garden which we could use-Hutton Village and its occupants further helped the Holiday feel good factor - The Pub with Wonderful Food - the beautiful gardens in the village - and easy access to surrounding beaches and facilities - we will be back in 2019."

"Beautiful clean bijou cottage."
All the little touches made it a very nice place to stay. Would highly recommend it..
-
"Everything was good about the cottage, only two minor faults, the kitchen tap and the shower head was dripping, but the plumber could not call until the week after we left."
-
"A lovely cottage."
Very clean and beautifully presented. Location is excellent as a base for the area. Would highly recommend and we would certainly look to book again when we re-visit the area.
-
"The cottage was a good location for all the things that we wanted to do ."
The water in the shower could of beenca bit warmer but that was just a little thing . We had a lovley time and would go back . Thankyou
-
"The cottage was very well equipped with cooking and washing facilities and is ideal for self catering holidays."
The cottage was very clean and warm and is just a short drive to the major road routes for exploring Somerset and the surrounding areas. The adjoining building containing the table tennis table and "chill out" room is great for entertaining the kids while the adults relax in their cottage. Will stay here again.
