  • "We stayed here for two days and loved it !"

The cottage is gorgeous. set in a calm serene farm 8-10 minutes drive from Bridport. The cottage is well equipped with all modern amenities and comforts. The welcome hamper was very thoughtfully put together. We enjoyed the stay and will be back for more if we are in the area again !

So glad you loved your stay and we would love to see you again. Warmest wishes. Property Owner

  • "Just Wow! This wasn't just a holiday, it was a week of being in a dream!"

The house just hits you with a Wow factor on entering, with its layout, decor and facilities. Then, when you discover the owners have worked very hard on providing everything you could want or need, makes you relax much more into the dream. With out of this world views of the country, great coastal locations to visit within short drives, the only thing we regret is not booking for longer! Many thanks for having us stay in the dream Pomme Blushe House

  • "A gorgeous spacious cottage for a family of 5."

Light and airy, lovely views from the dedicated garden and while very quiet is a short drive to the lovely Hive Beach. and also the amenities of Bridport, and a friendly local pub in the village (10 min walk). Recommended if you want privacy but not isolation. If you venture out to eat the Hive Beach Cafe is highly recommended.

  • "Pomme Blushe House was very beautiful house."

It had everything we needed for the stay. All the bedrooms were really comfortable. We actually used the master bedroom for our children. The day bed in there was perfect to turn around and use as a cot bed. (Our 2 year old climbs out of traditional travel cots) so this was perfect for us. Loved all the little touches. The white company minis and the welcome box was so thoughtful. We definitely will be staying again. Thank you.

Thank you so much for your kind words and I am so glad you enjoyed your stay at Pomme Blushe House, we do very much hope to see you again. Property Owner

Bridport 2.8 miles; Seatown 7.2 miles; Lyme Regis 13.3 miles.

The village of Shipton Gorge has its first reference in the Domesday Book of 1086. There is no "gorge" but it is an interesting and pretty village with high banked lanes, lovely houses and a community spirit. There are a number of thatched properties as well as listed buildings, one site of special scientific interest, two small woods and a network of public footpaths and bridleways to be explored. It has an early 15th century church tower, a 13th century font and the exterior is floodlit for much of the year making it an important feature of the village both day and night.
