• "This property is an absolute treasure."

  For a small house it has been really well designed and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The design of the building is very clever and all the ‘rooms’ have been fitted in perfectly and carefully decorated. The bedroom with the comfy 6’ bed is wonderful and the bathroom is fab. All that as well as wonderful views across to Portland, super outdoor decking, garden and seating areas and a parking space made for a great week (despite the not very summery weather we had).

• "The property was as described."

  Clean comfortable and in a quiet location. The views over Weymouth and the water meadows were a bonus. Very bright aspect and having an electric awning meant the room was kept cool. A superking size bed felt like home from home and quite an unusual find in a holiday cottage. All-in-all a great property and have no quarms in recommending it

• "This is one of the best holiday cottages I have ever stayed in."

  It was spotlessly clean and decorated to a very high standard with lots of homely touches. Comprehensively equipped, a sunny garden and great views - it was perfect. Suzy and Rob, the owners, were very friendly but not intrusive. I thoroughly recommend it.

• "The property is immaculate in terms of its facilities and cleanliness."

  It has beautiful views south across the nature reserve to Weymouth Bay, and west over the fields to the setting sun. The owners have put outside chairs, tables etc to take good advantage of both of these views and there is an awning to give shade from the afternoon sun, and an outside seat to swing on! It is possible to walk through the fields and by the side of the nature reserve to Weymouth Esplanade, without having to walk along the roads that you drive in to the property. Some lovely countryside for a drive to the north and east and for places to visit, like Lulworth Castle and Athelhampton Manor. All in all excellent for a weeks stay.

• "What a truly exceptional place."

  An idyllic location, superbly well-equipped, with so much thought, time, care and attention put into creating this holiday home, a little treasure and such a lucky find. There is a lovely view of the nature reserve and the sea beyond which can be seen from both the downstairs and the upstairs. The little 'extras' were also a pleasant surprise and very welcome.

• "Blue water was the perfect bolt hole for us-being ideally situated on the outskirts of Weymouth, very quiet and private with amazing views from both downstairs and upstairs."

  Every comfort has been considered both inside and out- it was well equipped with quality fittings and equipment, decorated and furnished to a high standard and was spotlessly clean. It was a real pleasure to arrive, stay and return to each evening where, after busy days we were happy to chill out. Equally, many restaurants and supermarkets were only a short drive away. Many thanks to Suzy and Rob who were the perfect hosts, on hand if needed but otherwise considerate of our privacy. Would love to return later in the year to relax, make use of the outside space and enjoy the sun and views.

• "It is as described."

  Fully and comfortably kitted out for two people. We certainly had no complaints or found anything missing that we needed. The owner next door was lovely. Had there been anything we wanted we are sure she would have provided it. The views south especially from upstairs are stunning. Unfortunately due to the weather, what do you expect in February (clearly not the fault of Blue Waters!) the adjacent paths into the countryside and down to the Nature Reserve were out of bounds without decent wellies. Something for next time. And we will be back.

• "We really enjoyed our stay at Blue Waters."

  The holiday home has fantastic views and is beautifully fitted out with everything you could possibly need. It has been decorated to a very high standard, is pristine throughout and is decorated with some really lovely art works. There are several spaces for sitting out in the garden although unfortunately the weather wasn't really good enough while we were there to do so. The owners had provided some food and drink items which was a wonderful welcome touch and it felt like our holiday started the minute we arrived, as well as making us feel at home.

• "Had an absolutely fantastic time at Blue Water."

  The owners Rob and Suzy obviously take great pride and it shows through - it was beautiful, spotlessly clean and full of thoughtful touches. Everything we needed including a useful kitchen, local guides, boardgames, Tassimo coffee machine which even had the pods supplied...I could go on. Bed super comfortable and a great shower room. The cottage is perched up on a hill overlooking Weymouth and very close to some beautiful walks through a wildlife nature reserve. It is a good walk into town so if you have to be in the thick of it you should look for somewhere else. But if you don't mind somewhere a bit tucked away, this place is an absolute gem. Thanks again, we will be back!

• "Following the very accurate detailed instructions which take you through winding roads of interesting modern houses, you reach your own parking space."

  Easily finding the key you enter a well kept, surprisingly secluded, garden with magnificent views. The grass is so well manicured it doesn't look real. Touch it. It is. The well equipped house with its interesting art works fulfils the initial promise. It is compact but feels spacious and the double doors open onto the decking. There is a view which is over a RSPB reserve and reaches down to the sea. It feels as if you are out in the countryside. Your hostess, Suzy, is welcoming and helpful but does no intrude on your privacy. This is a real home from home, light, airy, well equipped. A pleasure to be in.

• "New entrepreneurs in the holiday letting business."

  They are off to a most excellent start. First class accommodation and facilities, all spotlessly clean. The premises is a good size for just one bedroom. It is particularly pleasant to have a really comfortable bed and great shower room on the second floor with living room and kitchen underneath, both having brilliant views out to sea overlooking an RSPB wetland area across to the quietest end of Weymouth Beach and Portland from both levels. Good indoor furniture, equipment and kitchenware in addition. Clearly, much care, thought and clever design has gone into the design and decoration of the new premises, creating a lovely ambiance. Outside, was a reasonably sized attractive, landscaped garden with three separate areas in which to appreciate views, including decking and a gazebo. It was a joy to stay there with Rob and Suzy, truly lovely and hospitable people. We have firm intentions to return at some stage.
