  • "Lovely bungalow."

Very clean and tidy. I would highly recommend a stay here. I whish I had booked it longer.

  • "Lovely location close to shops and bars."

Plenty of room in the property and cosy area at the back to have a drink. Our dog settled in straight away. She had no mishaps, and a dog friendly beach was only five minutes away.

  • "This spacious bungalow was in an ideal position, 5 / 10 minute walk to the seafront."

It was very comfortable and clean and a lovely welcome pack awaited us which was really nice. There was also milk left for us in the fridge. However, ALL the windows have 'blown' in the conservatory and looks horrible and some windows have/are also going in the other rooms. They need replacing. The door to the outside courtyard we could'nt lock properly as the lock was broken and only had a small bolt to secure it. Overall though, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will revisit in the future. The weather was glorious as an added bonus.

  • "Fantastic location, so handy to have parking."

The beds were really comfortable, lots of space, it is dated but we knew that. Overall great value...

  • "We stayed 2 weeks."

The house interior is old but in good working order. There is no washing machine but we managed okay going to the local launderette which is 5min walk. The number of pans and utensils is very limited. The place was mostly clean but the carpet was full of dog hairs. We cleaned the vacuum cleaner filter and changed the dust bag because it was full and smelly. We also had to clean the dish washer filter the first day because all the plates and cutlery didn't look clean. After a thorough wash, the dish washer worked fine. The plus side, the cottage is a 5min walk to the beach and high street, there is a parking space, a large dining/living room. Overall we had a pleasant stay.

Bungalow was comfortable in most ways, but a bit more kitchen equipment would be nice. We enjoyed our stay very much.

  • "Perfect location uphill from town so you’re not hearing the hustle and bustle, but you are walking distance from restaurants, beach, activities, museum and shopping."

The decor is a bit like visiting Nan’s house, which we found charming. The place is clean, you have parking, pets are welcome, it’s stocked with everything you need to self-cater and you’ve got tv and Wi-Fi. I wish the mattresses and bedding were a bit higher end but they suited the purpose. Loved the welcome bag of local goodies; it was such a nice touch. We’d book this again.

  • "We found Lyme Regis very hilly for walking and at the cottage the steps to the front door very steep but well-helped by the hand bar."

The door from the orangerie type area to the garden was out of order so one couldn't finally shut and lock it. (That didn't matter to security though as the door to the orangerie from the kitchen locked perfectly.) Everything else was absolutely fine.

  • "The holiday property is very comfortable with all the facilities."

It's in a great position for the shops and dog walks. The parking outside is a big bonus. Some would say it's a bit dated but we absolutely loved it. Definitely come back again.

  • "Beautiful clean property in a fantastic location."

However it was very dated and clearly in need of some modernisation. Lovely kitchen but very sparsely kitted out. Would have appreciated some sharp knives, oven gloves and some baking trays at least. Saying that, the cleanliness and location fully made up for all that. The stable door on the front of the property was a lovely feature, but there was no lock on the bottom half, making it unsuitable to use with a dog in the house. A very enjoyable holiday.

  • "A lovely property that we come back to for 2 weeks in the summer year after year, shame about the conservatory being a little on the shabby side now, a washing machine would be an added bonus, but all in all a really lovely place to stay."

  • "My wife finds the steep steps to the front door increasingly difficult."

I recognize that wheel chair access would be difficult. However a larger top step would be good. Perhaps make use of the unused bit of garden to the right of the door to make wider and shallower steps.
