  • "This was our 2nd stay at Little England this year and we do intend to book again for next year."

Sue and Laurie are excellent hosts. There if you need them, but very discreet if you don't. The cottage was extremely clean and comfortable, just right for the two of us. The area boasts very many interesting places to visit. We recommend Bovington Tank Museum where you can also get a good lunch or just tea and cake.

Sue and I are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us and look forward to welcoming you again. Best wishes Property Owner

  • "We had a lovely week stay at the Little England Cottage."

Sue & Laurie were really helpful and such kind hosts and their dog Anna was so sweet with our own dog Heidi. The accommodation was everything we needed, clean, comfortable and having access to a garden for our dog. The village pub “The Royal Oak” (5 mins walk) has a great menu, and big portions which we visited most evenings. The local shop (Londis) has everything you need and reasonably priced. We chose the location as we wanted to be within 30-40 mins from Weymouth and Bournemouth. We highly recommend Little England Cottage.

Thanks for your kind words. Sue and I are delighted that you had a good time here and would be more than happy to see you again in the future. Best wishes Sue, Laurie and Anna Property Owner

As a base to go exploring and days out was excellent. Peaceful surroundings in idyllic village setting , Great local pub , Good selection of food and drink very welcoming host and staff, Value for money. Host at Cottage warm friendly and eager to let us know lay of the land and amenities , Top notch . Only downside for us was dog friendly !! allows dogs but no where really for dog to be on his own or able to mooch as we couldn't risk him on pristine garden so was on lead for most of stay. So great holiday and would go again when dog is dead so can relax a little more , Or try and dig deeper into a isolated fenced , enclosed property free standing .

The annex is cosy and well equipped with all you need for your stay. It’s in easy reach of the coast and many attractions such as Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove and Swanage steam railway all worth a visit.

  • "Great little garden cottage."

We used it as a base to work from home and visit family. Great beaches and sights are very close. It was extremely comfortable with all the conveniences thought out. Wifi was decent and bed was super comfortable The host were friendly and the surrounding village was lovely. The only negative is that the shower needs replacing. It's very weak and hard to manoeuvre in the small eaves space. We would definitely return.

Thank you for your positive feedback. Glad that you enjoyed your stay. As you realize, it is a 'Power Shower' so should be strong. I will certainly check it out and take action if it is faulty. Property Owner

They are very welcoming without being intrusive. We were provided with all the facilities needed and able to relax with a hot drink and biscuits after our long drive. Their love for Dorset is captivating and local knowledge is very useful. The apartment is comfortably furnished and a lot of thought has gone into every detail. We particularly enjoyed being able to sit in their beautiful garden at the end of a busy day. Their little dog Anna was a sweetie and tolerated our more bossy hound. The shower was a challenge for a 6 footer, but we loved Milford St Andrew, the pub, the area with plenty of good dog walks and a very comfortable apartment to return to.

The cottage itself is clean, comfortable and well equipped, you can also make use of the main garden and sun loungers to relax after a day exploring the beautiful Dorset coast and countryside. So clean and peaceful. Lovely owners in the nearby cottage who were lovely; never intrusive and greeted us on arrival with information regarding to the local area. Just a tiny recommendation that a linen basket would have been handy. The weather was so warm, that I could have pegged the washing outside had there been this facility, rather than using the tumble drier. (A washing line behind the kitchen outside would have been ideal). The bed was super comfy. I would therefore highly recommend this cottage

Our hosts were there to welcome us and give us the rundown. Although they had had to remove some items (we assume decor related) to be able to keep areas free for deep clean, it was very comfortable and very spacious, something that we appreciated with our labrador! Would most certainly stay here again when visiting this lovely area.
