  • "A lovely bright holiday cottage and well equipped."

I would have rated it even higher if the white towels hadn’t been grey, well worn and in need of replacing. We couldn’t use the oven, which needed cleaning and dealt out billowing smoke from previous uses. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our 3 night stay and the beautiful countryside views. Dogs also made very welcome.

Many thanks for your feedback, we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay with us but are sorry to hear you couldn't use the oven and we thank you for raising it with us. The oven has been given a deep clean since and we have relooked at our towels for future guests. We are always happy to resolve any issues during your stay with us. We hope to see you again soon. • "Nice to stay in a place that is quiet most of the time."

Impressed by the standard of the interior. Only slight issues were with allocated parking not signed and waste bin in kitchen not practical. Liked the BBQ and good bathroom facilities. Noticed fan extractors not working though. Did also spot someone set they key lock to the correct code when we went to leave, which made us wonder if someone accessed the property while we were out? Overall we enjoyed our stay. Thank You.

  • "The cottage was clean and relatively comfortable."

The sofas could do with replacing. The cottage could have more kitchen equipment and there were no cleaning products or kitchen roll provided. The garden was fine. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms were lovely. Overall a nice holiday cottage.

  • "Mostly excellent ; lovely modern furnishings , nice setting ; garden a bit smaller than it looked on the picture ; also very close to neighbours gardens ; maybe could do with a bit of hedging in between ."

Spotlessly clean . Bed very comfortable. bedding very nice. Only slight complaint is that we had to buy dishcloths , cleaning spray , washing up liquid which is unusual in my experience

  • "Excellent property and we really enjoyed out stay."

We went to the beach most days. Put an outdoor heated swimming pool somewhere in the vicinity for the 'lodges' and it would be just an amazing place to be . Really enjoyed our stay! if you stay here and want to use the beach then you really need to get to the Pavilion car Park before 1000Am to get a space... the Parkign app is brilliant.

  • "The property is decorated and furnished to an excellent standard, the sofa's are however quite uncomfortable."

This was our fourth visit to Wey Meadow as we enjoy staying here very much, unfortunately on the this occasion the Livery staff could be heard moaning about the number of people staying at the cottages and using the sign posted path through the stables to the public footpath, the following morning the gate to access this was padlocked!

  • "Nicely decorated and modern."

Good location to visit places. Roads too busy nearby to run or walk along. Footpaths through fields lovely for the dog to run. Horses an added bonus to see and hear. Lacking a personal touch of fresh milk and local cake or products on arrival after our long journey. Towels and linen basic quality but clean. I always enjoy a visitors book to see which places to visit on recommendations rather than trial and error. Comfy stay. Please consider a Saturday changeover day as Friday traffic terrible and you need to take an extra Friday off work.

Thank you for your detailed feedback on your stay, all the best Helen Property Owner

  • "Our holiday was spoiled by water leaking from the upstairs bathroom & coming through our ceiling at night & soaking some of our clothes."

This happened twice after the plumber who visited failed to sort out the cause initially so had to have second visit from him. In addition the recycling bins drawer fell out of its housing on several occasions. I must admit that we never reported this to management at the time. Grass in back garden so high that we could not use the garden. We are sorry but cannot recommend a stay at this property.

  • "A lovely comfortable and spacious property in a quiet location."

The well equipped kitchen had everything we needed and the dishwasher and washing machine were handy to have. There are good views over the fields and of the horses from the upstairs bedroom windows. The beds were comfortable and all rooms were clean and well kept.
