  • "Amazing cottages, our whole family loved it."

The cottages themselves from the outside look small but as you walk in they are like a tardis. Very spacious, clean, great views and generally lovely. Having the views and stables in your back garden was a wonderful addition. Very quiet at night and only heard the horses when we fully opened the windows. We had an issue with our shower, the plumber came out same day and changed it, could not fault the team they were amazing. Definitely highly recommend these cottages. Short drive from Weymouth beach and not far from all the sites. We all had such a lovely week away.

Many thanks for taking the time to review your stay at Wey Meadow Cottages. We are absolutely delighted you and your family enjoyed your time in Egdon Heath. We hope to see you again in the near future. Property Owner

  • "The house provided a perfect Christmas venue!"

Everything we needed was there - and loved the festive touches, especially the Christmas tree and crackers! Thank you!

Merry Christmas, so pleased you enjoyed your stay for the festive holiday and thank you for taking the time to review your accommodation. All the best for 2024, Helen and the team at Wey Meadow Property Owner

  • "On arrival we had to clean the bbq as was left dirty from previous occupants, oven was dirty don’t think it had been cleaned for months, both showers leaked especially upstairs so had to put towels down, shelf in fridge broken, draw with bins in not functioning properly."

We 100% forgot some personal items which were not found by staff even though we are 110% certain they were left behind, very disappointing.

Thanks for your feedback, all ovens and BBQs are regularly cleaned, I do apologise if they were not up to standard on this occasion, we would always be happy to attend to any concerns that are raised during your stay. These have all been addressed and I have arranged for the shower to be looked at, thank you for letting us know. I checked with our clean team individually and checked the property myself, I am so sorry that we could not find your adaptors/chargers after you left, I sincerely hope they turn up. Many thanks Helen and the Wey Meadow Team Property Owner

  • "Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at Wey Meadow Cottages over this weekend."

My family and I had a wonderful experience and holiday and the accommodation was lovely. It was so peaceful and had wonderful views from the back, we especially enjoyed views of the horses and sheep in the paddocks and the birdlife was just lovely. Thank you and we look forward to staying there again in the near future. Many thanks again.

  • "Immaculate place, spacious accommodation, great views"

    Mrs Mirena NoyvirtMay 2024

  • "Spacious well appointed and comfortable with a friendly helpful team."

But parking arrangements could be improved as the shrub beds result in 9 spaces along six cottages whereas two cars per cottage are advertised.

Well appointed, kitted out and spacious; but the sofas are too low as knees are above hips when seated, which is bad for posture and older guests may struggle getting up again; otherwise an excellent property

  • "The quality of the accommodation was excellent, as were the arrangements to pick up keys etc."

The only downside - hence 4 not 5 stars - was the late checheck in (5.00pm) and early check-out (9.00am) effectively meant that we lost one day of our stay. I accept that some change was necessary because of Covid, but a more normal 2.00pm check--in and 11.00am check-out would have allowed a more relaxed beginning & end to the holiday with more opportunity to enjoy the first and last days.
