"Fantastic location for our needs, a short distance from Weymouth and a great base for the other attractions in the area."
The accommodation was clean and reasonably well presented, with a couple of slight issues. It was listed that there was a clothes airer but we couldn’t find it. The kitchen could have done with a dish rack for the dishes to drain. The oven door does not completely close, this is due to the seal on the bottom of the door, not quite fitting. Cooking food in the oven took a little longer because of this. Overall a great place to stay and we would definitely stay again. I would also recommend this to others.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review your stay. We are so pleased you loved the location. We are sorry the airer was missing. We are always happy to replace immediately as we have staff on site daily. Thank you also for letting us know about the oven door. We hope we see you again very soon. Property Owner

"Absolutely filthy."
The only clean thing in the kitchen was the dishwasher. We had to hoover when we got there and went to mop the floor but the mop was so disgusting we went to the supermarket to buy a new one. I had bought home cooked frozen meals for my 1 year old and when I went to put them in the freezer I was horrified as the freezer had so much ice which had hairs and other debris in. The mattress was disgusting and covered in stains. The bathroom was not suitable to bath a small child as we could only use one side due to the bath screen being siliconed to the bath. The water pressure was also shockingly awful. The remote for the tv was absolutely covered in goodness knows what so had to scrub the thing as was worried if my daughter touched it. The sofa was extremely uncomfortable. There are no facilities. Yes can wash clothes in the dingy outhouse. The ‘garden’ is totally uneven with a huge drop and completely overgrown so would have been extremely dangerous to take our 1 year old. Honestly the worst place I’ve ever stayed. We couldn’t cancel or try to get money back as was such a busy weekend there was no where to go so would have had to if driven home. We did leave early as it was raining all day on the second to last day and nothing to do at the cottage so had no choice but to leave
Thank you for your feedback, unfortunately our guests were just not satisfied with any aspect of the accommodation on arrival, we tried our best to remedy their concerns that evening and continued to respond to all their requests throughout their stay but despite the offer of a full refund they ultimately decided to remain in the holiday cottage for the duration of their stay. The cottage has been fully refurbished in 2021. Property Owner
