  • "We had a lovely, warm and comfortable week in Hebe."

Everything you could need was supplied and more. The underfloor heating was a treat and the accessible bathrooms very appreciated. The owner greeted us, left treats for us to enjoy and went above and beyond to be helpful. Would definitely recommend!

  • "This is the second time we have stayed in Hebe Barn."

We absolutely love the location as a base, it has brilliant access for my husband who is a wheelchair user and has 2 wet rooms which is very difficult to find in other properties. We feel at home as soon as we set foot into the barn, So good we have already booked for a third time next year!

  • "We loved our week at Hebe."

The property is outstanding and in a beautiful area. Vendela the owner had thought of everything that you could possibly need and the welcome bits were very thoughtful. When we booked it was with the intention of taking our disabled Daughter but she sadly passed away a few months before we went. The reason I’m saying this is because it would have been perfect for her as it is so disabled friendly and accessible. Our dog Millie loved it too. Would recommend it 100%.

  • "A lovely barn conversion located in a beautiful part of the Dorset countryside."

Very restful, and all on one level, ideal for persons of lesser mobility. Local shops, pubs are within a few miles and many places, Lyme Regis, Weymouth, Swanage & Poole are within or around an hours drive. We previously stayed at the adjoining property 'Willow', and would happily stay at either again. We would happily recommend the property to others.

Beautiful, comfortable conversion in a tiny farm hamlet, perfect for peace and quiet. Property practical for wheelchair use. Warm welcome from host. Chocolates, biscuits, prosecco and eggs a lovely surprise. Ideally located for walks and bird watching but also well placed to visit coast and towns. Would highly recommend this property.

  • "Hebe is by far the most fabulous holiday cottage we have stayed in (with our two dogs) ."

It is equipped with everything you could need, and the thoughtful welcoming 'treats' were icing on the cake - and there was chocolate and prosecco among other delights! Hebe is brilliant for both disabled and able-bodied holiday makers : the helping bits and pieces for less mobile folk were not obtrusive at all. As a below knee amputee myself I needed the cripple-friendly extras, useful and thoughtful. The dogs loved the totally secure gardens. And our host, Vendela, was friendly and helpful/caring. We will stay at Hebe or Willow (next door) again for sure. Superb.

  • "What's not to love?"

Fantastic property in beautiful surroundings. Everything you could wish for, and then some. Super dog friendly, which was my top priority. Owner Vendela couldn't have been more helpful, especially keeping us updated on the local roads flood situation. Only one thing could have improved it comfort wise, maybe an extra sofa. To sum up, the BEST holiday home I've ever stayed in!!!

The hosts, Vendela and Robin were very kind and accommodating and we certainly enjoyed the welcome goodies, thank you! The cottage was beautifully presented and we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and our lovely pup certainly enjoyed the large enclosed garden - and it was properly enclosed with no escape routes. So a big thank you from us.

Superb, clean and tidy accommodation. Sun in the morning in the back garden and in the evening in the front garden. Wet rooms well stocked with fluffy, cotton Laura Ashley towels, soap and cleaning produce. Kitchen had everything we needed. A dog walk just along the Frome Way suited our younger dogs really well and was just at the end of the drive. Centrally placed to drive to Dorset's jurassic coast and tour!

As a wheelchair user my husband found it very easy to get around with the added extra of a choice of wet room. The owner was also able to provide us with a shower chair. The property had everything you could wish for and the owners were very friendly, popping in at the end of our stay to check we had had a good stay. Set in a peaceful countryside location with plenty of walks nearby it gave us the restful break we needed. So good we put a deposit down on our 3rd day for next year!!

  • "Absolutely stunning!"

We stay in 2-3 holiday cottages a year, this has to be one of the nicest we have stayed in. We had a little issue with the heating and hot water but this was sorted shortly after reporting it, can’t really ask for more. The entire place was modern, comfortable and well equipped. The front and back garden are both a good size, and actually secure for the dogs, something that many places say they are, but rarely actually true. Very impressed with this place and we will be back to visit again

The owners have thought of everything down to the finest detail. The cottage itself was comfortable and well appointed. It is very disabled friendly with wide doors and easily accessible en suite wet rooms in both bedrooms. The outside space was large with both front and rear secure gardens, which allowed our dog to run around and roam the grounds freely without worry. The added bonus of two horses in the field at the bottom of the rear garden made it even better. We would highly recommend this property to anyone and would definitely book it again for ourselves.
