"The accommodation was lovely and very clean and everything you would need for a short stay was provided."
The welcome package was a nice touch. The only downside was whoever was above were very loud and played music until quite late.

"There were no windows in the lounge/bedroom other than the french door."
the only opening window was in the bathroom. Could be a problem in hot weather. The only cooking facility was a combi microwave but there were no cooking pots/pans to put in it. The bedding was filled with duck feathers which could be a problem for anyone with an allergies which needs to be in the description. The welcome folder could do with more information regarding local facilities. In saying this the place is very nice for a quiet relaxing break.
The Hideaway is cool in the summer as it doesn’t receive direct afternoon sunlight through the double French doors . We have now provided cooking utensils and will give more information on the wide range of facilities in Lyme Regis . Property Owner

"Nicely done up."
But why cold slate floors ? Tiny sofa tiny tv which was difficult to work. Control on shower not right got burnt or cold. Very small kitchen, no plug in the sink! Washer far too complicated aka microwave. Who wants to stay someware and spend an hour working it out. Not even an iron or hairdryer. A small carton of milk would have been a nice touch as the shop is miles away Not impressed
Sorry you did not enjoy your stay . The TV is internet based as it was very poor reception before hand. These new digital TV’s can be difficult to use for the first time but do make Netflix straight forward . The shower is only a few years old and we could not replicate the problem. We would immediately replace the control if it wasn’t working and have replaced the plug . Both the washer and microwave are brand new and digital . A carton of milk was forgotten and a welcome pack is now included as the nearest shop is about a mile away in Uplyme . Property Owner

"Lack of information concerning: *extractor fan in kitchen not obvious it us there *the fact that the tv works with WiFi with no direct links to the terrestrial channels which assumes everyone has the necessary IT skills Also lack of plug for kitchen sink."
Directions to the property could have been clearer as GPS was inefficient.
Thank you for letting us know about these things . The GPS location of the Hideaway has now been modified on the Sykes website, as it wasn’t correct, and the directions to find the property have been improved . The TV is Wi-Fi only and we will modify the information pack to help explain how to use it . We have replaced the plug for the kitchen sink and I am sorry we did not realise that it had disappeared when the cleaning was done . Property Owner
