  • "Very comfortable accommodation where the owner has obviously put a great deal of thought into equipping the property."

If I had to nitpick - I could have done with a small set of scales to weigh pasta and rice. On the whole, I was very impressed.

Location could not have been better and the parking is such a plus point. We would not hesitate to recommend Brewers retreat and hope to return ourselves

  • "This is the second year we have stayed at your lovely property."

The accommodation is ideal as so close to the harbour/beach and surrounding areas. Having a reserved parking space is a real bonus. This year the light in the bathroom, flickered throughout the stay. One night around 23.30hrs there was a very loud vibrating noise right across the apartment which seemed to stem from the bathroom ceiling the bathroom tap/fan was being used at the time. It did not stop for some time and not until the fan stopped. The whole block must have heard it. The towels provided were obviously new with is great but led to the towels fabric rubbing off and covering us and clothes etc. I had to wash and dry them before we could continue to use them. I did report the noise/light in the apartment. We were asked if it was ok for maintenance to attend whilst we were out, we were not asked to leave our keys so presumed they had their own set? I am unsure if they attended but if they did they left the relevant key code on the box without disguising it. The light was still problematic when we left and the noise settled but could still be heard from the adjoining ground floor flat. I would recommend Brewer's Retreat to any one, apart from the maintenance issue we had a great stay. Thank you

  • "Wasn't aware that there would only be windows to use to enjoy the weather, it was not adviseable to leave the only outside door down a dark corridor open as there were lots of other people and children about who seem to be perminent residents there."

Having said that it was relatively quiet. We were left two dishwasher tablets but no dishwasher!

  • "The property is lovely, well equips and very comfy."

Internet access is a problem and access to the bin area was difficult without the code for the gate. Great location, so close to the beach and harbour, that we did not need to use the car all week.

Hello Glad you had a good break. We have fixed the internet problem with SKY. Hope you return soon. Paul Property Owner

  • "Very enjoyable stay in comfortable well equipped accommodation."

Only thing missing was a teapot which we would have appreciated. Own parking was a bonus and we didn’t use the car while there. The property is well situated, only a few minutes walk to the harbour and easy for coastal walks. Disposal of rubbish and recycling isn’t clear. The gated area with the bins wasn’t accessible as it needed a key code different to entry keys. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Hello We have contacted Dream cottages to make it clearer the area where the bins are situated. Sorry for the inconvenience. We have also provided a teapot , hopefully for your next visit ! Paul Property Owner

  • "Amazing property."

So lovely. Everything we could want. Did report the bathroom light flickering to dream cottages but only a minor inconvenience. Bed we found to be a bit hard for our preference but everyone is different! Everything was lovely and clean until you looked under the sofa cushions! But the decor was beautiful and we loved the welcome of tea coffee and biscuits left for us. Bit confused by the welcome book, no remote for living room lamps that we could find. But other than that, awesome stay seriously thought out. Location is top notch would absolutely book again.

Hello Glad you had a great time. We have contacted Dream cottages and got them to make it clearer with regard to the information on the welcome package. Hope you return soon. Paul Property Owner

  • "This was my second visit to this property."

Everything fine as usual. It would have been useful to have a dish washer as I was there longer this time. The hall way didn’t appear to have been hoovered. It was full of little bits. Apart from this everything was fine,

Hi Glad you came back. Weymouth is a lovely place for a break. We decided on a washing machine instead of a dishwasher I am afraid. It was one or the other. I have spoken to the owner of the whole building and asked him to improve the cleanliness of the hallway. Sorry for late response. Take care. Paul Property Owner
