  • "We had a wonderful holiday, despite the weather."

Little Gull was excellent for cleanliness and so we're the facilities. The beds were very comfortable so sleep was not a problem. All the local attractions were well within walking distance as was the Asda supermarket. The only problem for us was the bathroom sink was blocked and took a long time to empty.

Hi thanks for your very positive review - we’re so pleased you enjoyed Little Gull Cottage and all the local amenities that Weymouth has to offer. We’re sorry you had a problem with the bathroom sink - we’ve now raised the issue with the maintenance team and hopefully it has been resolved. We aim for a high standard of maintenance, so we hope it did not impact your overall experience too much. Steve & Kate Foster Property Owner

  • "Really clean, well furnished property with everything we needed for our stay."

We cooked most nights and the only thing I could have done with was a potato peeler! Beds were really comfy. The harbour and beach were minutes away. Lovely stay!

Thank you for your lovely comments - we always like to hear from people who stay at our wonderful cottage. Just when you think you have thought of everything…no potato peeler! Rest assured we will get right on it and fix that oversight. Thanks again, Steve and Kate Property Owner

We had a great stay and the welcome hamper and pint of milk was very much appreciated. The cottage was perfect for our needs and I would not only use it again, but highly recommend it to my friends. Thank you.

  • "We had a lovely stay at Gull Cottage."

It was like walking into a tardis….really impressed by the space especially on floors two and three. Ground floor was cosy but really well laid out and one of the best equipped kitchens we have come across. All the beds were comfortable and decor/furniture modern and cleverly put together….nautical theme of course! Walking distance to the Marina/centre of town/beach/supermarket and harbour. Parking isn’t a given. We were lucky two nights out of three. Lots of local car parks in walking distance though. Would definitely reccomend. Blip with the TV in lounge on the last night…hope now sorted. We were slightly cold at night….Duvet in main bedroom was on the thin side. Bit unclear re rubbish collection…. no mention re recycling items….a green box in the yard for that???? Seemed a shame to have to put everything in the bin. The plastic matting by the front door a great idea but abit lethal as moves. One other thought…clothes drier for inside use would have been useful. Lovely stay…. Comments to hopefully help rather than criticism.

Thank you so much for your lovely feedback – it’s very much appreciated. We have only owned Little Gull Cottage for a few months, so you are one of our first guests and it's great to get constructive comments. We'll look into the recycling issue and add something to the guest instructions to clarify the situation. The clothes dryer is a good idea. Our priority is to make sure anyone staying at Little Gull is very comfortable and can make it a home from home. Thanks again, Kate & Steve Property Owner

  • "Beautiful house with everything you need for a lovely stay in Weymouth."

Comfy beds and linens. Great shower (although access would be a bit difficult for anyone with reduced mobility) and nice big bath towels too! Location perfect for a short stroll to harbour, beach and town centre and steps away from two traditional and friendly pubs. Great welcome pack with essentials and goodies too! Thank you!

Thank you so much for your lovely comments, we're pleased that you enjoyed your stay at Little Gull Cottage. We are new owners of this amazing cottage and you are among our first guests - it's great to know you enjoyed it. Steve & Kate Property Owner
