Super clean, large bedrooms and bathrooms, well equipped, and very comfortable . Could not ask for better accommodation for a week.

"Great property, had all amenities needed, with a lovely garden, which we got to use due to the great weather we had."
Beds were a bit soft for our liking, but just a preference for firm beds. And great location for town. Parking definitely a bonus as no parking ever near location, managed to get 2 medium size cars in with no problem. Would highly recommend.

"OUTSTANDING!"
Wow, this is the most beautiful house and is very clearly loved and looked after. From the second of arrival walking through the wonderful garden into the main living area of the house to the second we begrudgingly left, everything was perfect.
The hosts are the most lovely people, it was my mums and sisters birthday and they kindly put up decorations I had delivered to the house. The hamper on arrival filled with lovely local produce, flowers and milk in the fridge was a lovely and well appreciated gesture.
There was plenty of room for 6 adults to be together or time apart. The cleanliness of the house was unmatched, there wasn’t a spec of dirt anywhere. Beds were perfectly comfortable and cool in the heat we had.
Parking was tighter than we expected but with a talented driver we managed to squeeze a 9 seater ford tourneo in diagonally. It would be absolutely fine for 2 ford fiesta sized cars to park side by side or 1 bigger car on a slight diagonal.
It was a short 4-5min walk down to the harbour or to brewers quay from the front of the house.
For future visits to Weymouth this will be the only place we stay from now on, a real home away from home.

"I guess 10."
5 togs on the beds is ok for most people but we would have preferred 4.5 togs in the summer also could not alter the temperature in the en-suite shower but i would say this house was the best we have stayed in

"A fine house, with parking, in a good location close to the harbour."

Everything we needed was provided, and a good range of books in the front room. Perhaps a lid for the microwavable dishes would be a welcome extra? Though I realise that one can always use clingfilm instead! Thankyou for enabling us to have a very enjoyable holiday, in an excellent location so close to the harbour.

"Accommodation exceeded our expectations and it was easy to feel at home straight away."
Everything had been thought of from equipment in the kitchen to board games that were accessible for rainy days. Location great probably about a 3-5 minute walk to the harbour but be aware that the route to the house is up a hill. Car parking was great and a must for the area, we did manage to get two cars on the drive, a tight squeeze but possible, The accommodation felt spacious and we were appreciative of the instruction books being available telling us how to use the oven and microwave. Would definitely recommend this property.

"A lovely house full of character just a few minutes walk from the harbour and a great base to really unpack the treasures of Dorset and the Jurassic Coast."
House is spacious, well equipped, has a lovely south facing garden (it’s a real sun trap), the WiFi is really fast, and dedicated parking is a real bonus too. (We got 2 large cars parked no problems).
We did not actually use the car all week as we used the bus to go to Dorchester, Bridport, and Lulworth Cove / Durdle Door and there is also the train if you want to go further afield. Weymouth has lots to see and do and plenty of places to eat and drink. We did not have a bad meal all week. If we could recommend one lunch place it would be the Stone Pier Cafe and one evening meal place it would be the Red Lion.
My only constructive feedback would be: barely any toilet roll or dishwasher tablets provided (we stayed for the week and the dishwasher was used everyday), no kitchen roll provided plus we could not find any oven gloves. Also, en-suite bathroom would massively benefit from the installation of an extractor fan.
That said, these are just minor things and we absolutely loved our stay and would love to return. Highly recommended.

"We (three adults in three bedrooms with bathroom each) had a very enjoyable five night stay."
We were exceptionally lucky with the weather and made good use of the very attractive south facing garden.
As others have said, parking is a little tricky, due to parked cars all around and restricted parking space but OK for one medium sized vehicle.
The property has a steep single flight staircase up to the bedrooms.
Big plus it that it is only a short walk to the very centre of Weymouth, though the surroundings on that walk are not particularly attractive.
Overall, we enjoyed our break very much.
Thank you for your feed back. I trust you marking us down was not simply for the staircase. Its original and one wonders what you might expect in a cottage. As you indicate private parking in the area is some what of a premium but well parked the space can accomodated two vehicles in including a land rover discovery. As for the area this is the first review to have mentioned such. Never the less we are pleased you enjoyed your stay. Thank you.

"Lovely stay at Odysea."
The house is beautiful, as is the secluded garden. We ate out in the evenings, but the kitchen is extremely well equipped so wouldn’t have had any problems cooking a meal. In fact, the whole house is well equipped and on the one day when it rained, we had fun with the various books and games dotted about the house.
Just a minute from the bustling harbour with several pubs and restaurants and a few minutes from the high street with the usual retail shops and from Weymouth beach.
Lots of great coastal walks nearby with spectacular scenery.

"Good house with loads of facilities."
Plenty of space for 6 adults. Beautiful garden also.
Our only real issue is that there are only 5 dining chairs for 6 people.
We appreciate your positive comments and the 94% review. Nevertheless we are are sad to hear you failed to locate the sixth chair which is normally located on the landing or sometimes placed in a bedroom.

"Had a really enjoyable stay."
Great location, really easy to walk into town. The garden was really beautiful to eat in when the sun was shining. The parking space at the back fitted our estate car diagonally or would fit 2 smaller cars normally.
The house was really clean and very quiet.

"Great location in Weymouth although did find it quite noisy at night (partly due to be an old terraced house and I am guessing single glazed windows) however we had a very enjoyable stay."
Lots to do around Weymouth area and further afield. House was very well equipped and although overall was clean we did feel some bits were a bit tired (some carpets and rugs for example). Marked slightly down on comfort as the matttess in the main bedroom (en suite room) was rather uncomfortable, it was far too soft for our liking. The mattress in the other double bedroom was much better.
Thank you for this. It's always nice to receive feedback as we are keen to ensure all is top notch. We would comment that the cottage is double glazed throughout. If the front tilt and turn windows are not fully shut this can let some noise in. I assume you were unlucky with any noise as its been commented how quiet the area can be. Regarding the mattress unless they have been swapped the ensuite bed is a £1500 Harrison mattress and the other a £300 cash and carry type. It goes to show its not all about the money! But thank you, All is noted.

Mattresses a bit on soft side and a 10.5 tog quilt was unnecessary in full summer.

"Fabulous property in a very good location near to beach and shops."
Very comfortable stay and liked the layout of the house. Lovely well kept garden and found it very peaceful. Great to have a car parking space at the back of the house as the roads around are quite narrow and hard to get a space sometimes. Would definitely stay in the house again and would highly recommended it to others . Thanks :)
