  • "Lovely apartment right next to the harbour with everything you need for a wonderful stay."

The beds were comfy and each room had its own bathroom, utility room was great and handy to wash and dry clothes. The kitchen was well stocked with all the bits you'd need and all the rooms were spacious. All the local amenities and attractions were closed by and the menu for the cafe downstairs was a handy addition. We did have a bit of an issue with a couple of the showers and finding the hairdryer but this was quickly solved by the owners. Good to be aware that this particular apartment was top floor so lots of stairs and also skylights in the bedrooms without blinds. I personally enjoyed waking up to the sun each day but you might want to pack an eye mask otherwise! Brilliant stay, would definately recommend!

It would be good to get blinds on tje Velux windows as we were all waking up very early, and some games would be a nice addition as we've had these at other properties. We'll be recommending the property to friends and family and hope to stay again in the future!

I like the utility room washer dryer and dish washer in there and room with sweeping brush hoover etc . The stairs when we arrived carrying bags etc food up was a bit much but it never bothered us the rest of the holiday same going home up and down .loading the car x The shower in double room would get warm but not any hotter tgen cut out ??the car permit helped we found a few spaces and if your stuck there’s a big car park by the pavilion till u get nearer the place x the views u never get tired of seeing and positioning is the best right by the harbour x cafe down stairs and pubs near by . We found it great when you got teenager likes his own bathroom and granpa too x so if u got a big family ideal and plenty of pots to go round too x we shall be back thanks Nikki for answering questions too great communication x

There are some very good pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance. Parking instructions are provided but be careful to read the on street parking signs carefully as traffic wardens are zealous!

  • "Great accommodation in a superb location."

The space in this apartment is amazing and all the bedrooms and bathrooms are huge. Lots of space for 6 adults. A very modern and enjoyable space and all right in the heart of Weymouth. Nikki did a great job of making our arrival efficient with a spotlessly clean and tidy apartment waiting for us. We were made aware of an issue prior to our arrival and this was resolved as soon as practicable. Being a top floor apartment it could get quite warm and the restricted window opening is totally understandable but fans were provided for each bedroom. All the facilities worked including dishwasher, washing machine and dryer which meant to didn’t have to bring too much luggage. Whilst the stairs to the top floor was known it was a struggle for one of our party so maybe we will try for apartment 2 on the middle floor next time. In terms of stairs and a better view. If I had to pick any faults then the pans in the kitchen need replacing as they have reached the end of their life as the non stick coating comes off into anything cooked in them. (We only used once so not a huge issue as plenty of places to eat out on your doorstep). Thank you for a great stay.

  • "Apartment 3 is very spacious, comfortable and well equipped."

The rooms are exrtremely light and airy. Our bedroom had only rooflights but still managed to be light. The only negative side to this was for anyone who struggles to sleep, the early morning daylight might be a bit of a problem. The most surprising thing was how quiet the apartment is, despite the windows being single glazed. We had stayed on the harbour before and know how noisy it can get. In conclusion, a lovely apartment, in a beautiful location.

This was our second visit to this property. For a family of 4 with Granny and Grandad as well, this property is ideal. Each bedroom has its own en-suite which is brilliant. In an ideal location for the beach, shops and Brewers Quay. Lovely Café on the ground floor as well. And after 2 weeks, the stairs to the top floor were a breeze.

The only issue we had was on the day of leaving, Being out of the property by 9.30 was a little early as we have 3 children. We barely had time to grab breakfast, get the car and get sorted. Even 10.00 would just give that little more time.

  • "This is a superb apartment in an ideal location!"

Close to cafes, (highly recommend The Custom House Café) the harbour and the beach. The 53 steps were a challenge for the first couple of days but worth it for the lovely apartment. The 3 bedrooms, each with their own ensuite bathroom, was the perfect layout for us as a family. The separate utility room was an added bonus. Wi-Fi was a bit sketchy, but that seems to be a general problem in the area. We all loved it so much we booked again for next year.

  • "The flat was really nice and exactly as described and pictured."

That washing tablets and liquid were provided was really good - a nice touch. As a family flat it would be nice if the kitchen equipment met that brief (rather than the IKEA/value products). Two big salad/serving bowls that could double as mixing bowls and a big frying pan would have made a difference. Further improvements would be better mattresses and towelling bathmats rather than paper ones. Nikki was superb and rang us early beforehand and was great during the stay and after. She was terrific.

  • "We had the most amazing week in apartment 3, it was even better than the pictures which I didn’t think would be possible!"

We were able to get in much earlier than expected which was brilliant and managed to find a parking space close by which was great. The bed in our room was soooo comfy and it was so quiet even though we were right on the harbour, I’d never get tired of seeing that view each morning just a shame the parapet wall isn’t a fraction lower!!! It was such a bonus having the utility room too, the only downside were the stairs up to it - by the end of the week we were knackered! but it got our step count up & it was worth it every time when we opened our door & saw all the beams & the sun streaming in!! Nikki was super helpful and nice (as was everyone we met in connection to the apartment) the cafe downstairs was lovely especially the Nutella brownie!!! Will definitely stay again.

  • "The apartment was pristine in appearance and everything was exactly as advertised exceeding our expectations."

Parking was not difficult as some reviews have shown but that was probably due to the fact that it was not high season when we visited. The shower in the first double bedroom lacked power and we kept losing WiFi connection but that did not spoil our stay. The accommodation was perfectly located on the harbour with restaurants, pubs and shops literally up the road but far enough away not to be a problem and not needing to get a cab back to the apartment. The washing machine and tumble dryer were a godsend seeing as I only had limited room in my car and could only bring a small amount of luggage for the family. The dishwasher was really useful too. Nikki the owner was really helpful and always at the end of the phone if needed but I am happy to say that our stay was so perfect that we did not need to contact her and will definitely return in the future..

  • "What a beautiful place to stay."

.. location was just perfect, overlooking the harbour & within 10 steps of 3 different cafes (Custom House Cafe highly recommended), and the apartment itself is wonderful - the photos don’t do it justice! Much bigger than it looks, 3x en-suite bedrooms are all huge, as is the open plan kitchen / dining / living room. Useful utility room too for sandy clothes to be washed. Parking was not a problem - permit allows on street parking in zone F so all around the apartment & we found a space easily during peak Saturday traffic. Lots of spaces available if you get in early at the pavilion car park too, a 5 min walk, at £8 for 24h. Anyway - we’ll definitely be back - thanks Nikki & Dream Cottages!!

  • "We were loaned a parking permit to park in a specific zoned area of streets which all sounds good, but spaces can be as rare as hens' teeth."

Consequently, after driving round searching for at least 20 minutes to no avail, we had to resort to a public car park. We had to pay 2 hours charges and then park free overnight. The next day we had to retrieve our car by 8am and then resume our search for a space and guess what - no spaces ( and this is September). Nothing for it but to park all day for £8. We eventually found a space that evening and left the vehicle in that zoned area for another 4 days, getting around on local buses. We loved Weymouth and adored the apartment, but until the parking issues can be sorted, we won't be returning!!
