The property is amazing with obviously high quality fixtures and fittings designed to make your stay extremely comfortable. The location is close enough to everything you need but also quiet enough for our young family. We are already discussing booking again!

  • "The cottage was beautiful and a very good standard."

The beds very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. Having towels and bed linen provided was an excellent help.It was like being at home. An extra boost was watching a pigeon build a nest in the tree right in front of the kitchen window laying eggs and brooding on the nest. The information for the use of the home was first class. For us the only cons were, blackout blinds for the en-suite bedroom, the morning light for us was too bright for us. Also some side lamps for the front lounge, as the main ceiling light we found to bright. Thank you to Gill and family for sharing their second home with us. We definitely will visit again, still lots more to see and do in the beautiful Dorset

  • "This is the second time we've stayed at pedaller's cottage and we had another wonderful stay."

The cottage has everything you possibly wish for for a very comfortable stay. The beds are incredibly comfortable, as are the sofas. The kitchen is a lovely hub for activity and day planning. (All photos are very accurate) The owner also couldn't be kinder or more helpful and has even sent us back bits that we've forgotten both times we stayed! The house is just a short walk from the harbour and only a little further on to the beach, which is perfect with little ones craving to get the sand between their toes. It has become a firm favourite with our family and we will most certainly be back.

We are not in much as Weymouth Town kept us busy with wandering the coastline by foot and boat . At night we managed to eat out nearly every evening . Restaurants need booking . Would only highly recommend a few but most were good . If you like Fish and Chips this is the town for you , and fish is on all restaurants lists too .

The house is incredibly well kept and presented and is equipped with everything you can imagine for a very comfortable stay. Our party consisted of my husband and I, our children who are 3 and almost 5 months and their grandma. It suited all generations and made a lovely base to go exploring. We felt at home immediately and we agreed that we hope to stay again soon.

They read our message but never replied or did anything to rectify the problem so we had to wash everything up by hand thereafter. Was v disappointed at the lack of care shown when in all other respects the cottage was lovely, well looked after and extremely clean.

The cottage suited us perfectly, has been fantastically kitted out with everything you need, and very child friendly. Clearly the owners have put a lot of thought into everything and it really showed. Would definitely recommend this cottage. Only downside was parking as we were never able to get a park on the street, however there is plenty of on street parking available in the neighbouring streets only a 2 minute walk away.

It is in a great location, superbly fitted out and the owners could not be more helpful. We have stayed with our little boy (between 1-3.5 years old) and with grandparents and the amenities worked superbly for all three generations. Having a second small lounge/snug makes such a difference as it means everyone can have a bit of their own space if needed. We love the kitchen dining room and spend huge amounts of tie in that room. We normally stay in the winter months and it is super cosy. No worries about being cold. On our last stay in April we were able to finally enjoy the lovely garden. Our little one chilled out playing on the grass whilst we sat back and chatted. Great location, great setup. A real home from home.

The owners not only easily accommodated us at short notice but the level of care, attention, information and welcome given to us in the house was excellent!!! They were also beyond helpful when we needed to extend our stay. The house itself is so comfortable and clean and although parking is not directly on doorstep we found it very easy to park close to the property. The sea and harbour is within minutes walk into town and the log burner in the kitchen was a highlight after being out in the cold weather.

  • "The cottage was lovely and if anything the photos didn't do it justice."

It was nicely decorated and well equipped, giving it a very "home from home" feeling. With a toddler, the washing machine was really useful for us - and there was a washing line in the garden and clothes airer provided, as well as an iron and ironing board. While we spent a lot of time out and about, the lounge and front room were very comfortable for the times when we were back at the cottage. The beds were equipped with memory foam topped mattresses which wouldn't be our first choice (just personal preference) but were comfortable enough. Probably the biggest selling point of the cottage is its location - you are 1 minute from Hope Square which has some lovely pubs and restaurants, and you can be in town or on the esplanade in around 10 minutes. We would definitely stay again!

Pedaller's Cottage is a lovely property with plenty of space to move about and find a quiet spot to relax in even when you have grandchildren with you! The facilities are excellent and we were able to cater for ourselves very easily in the lovely kitchen / dining area. The location of the cottage with its close proximity to the harbour and beaches, just an extra few minutes away, meant that our car stayed parked up for most of the holiday (giving me a holiday from driving!) Our favourite room was the kitchen/diner - great for family interaction and board games by the fire. It even had wifi (unexpectedly) which was a bonus for teenagers. Parking was OK and most of the time there were spaces on roads nearby, while the Nothe Park car park (permit provided) was not far. Being able to leave the car for days and walk everywhere was greatly appreciated (we loved the location). We had a minor issue with the digital heating controls at the outset which the helpful owners sorted out straight away by phone. I would highly recommend this property. Stayed April 2018
