• "This is a wonderful house that is very spacious and beautifully decorated, it is also in a brilliant location!"

  The kitchen is very well equipped and the beds were comfortable. We luckily managed to find 2 parking spaces very close to the house, it ticks all the boxes of a holiday accommodation. We would book again!

• "We have just had the best week staying in Wolf Cottage."

  Superbly decorated throughout. Cleanliness was outstanding. Bedding and towels that were supplied were immaculate. My only criticism is that we had the rear double room, and there was nowhere to hang anything, but we managed. Lovely family holiday, can't wait to return.

• "There was not enough comfortable seating for 6 adults and little wardrobe and drawer space for a two week break plus nowhere to dry washing the path to the front door wasn't very safe as one son was in a wheelchair my other son slipped and fell badly cutting his knee whilst carrying the luggage to the car we had near misses all week as I myself am not very good at getting around now and use a stick however on the whole though we had a lovely holiday."

  I'm glad you had a good holiday on the whole Richard. In terms of your feedback, its a shame you didn't feel there was enough seating for 6 adults as we have 2 sofas, an armchair and a ottoman bench in the living room (plus of course 6 dining chairs). We do have a clothes horse in the cupboard under the stairs, I wish you had flagged that you couldn't find it as we could have helped locate it for you. Finally in terms of the path, there is a small step to the path leading to the house which has never been highlighted as being an issue before and we do not claim to be wheelchair friendly.   The only thing we would say is we think you should mention that for elderly people, like us, if walking, there are steps and a hill to climb when coming back from the harbour and town.

  The location was better than hoped for and we thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful harbour area and going on to Weymouth beach in just minutes. Thanks too for all the recommendations for where to eat out and places to go along the coast. As for Wolf Cottage, everyone loved their room and slept really well, and were appreciative of how much thought and care that had gone in to every space throughout. • "Lovely cosy cottage in excellent location."

  Kitchen very well equipped. Olivio restaurant was very good and Bennets fish and chips. We ate them in the pub next door and joined in the ukulele sing along.... great fun. To improve the cottage further, extra drawers would help with storage in the bedrooms and a rack over the radiator to dry damp towels but honestly just being picky.

• "Delightful property with interesting history."

  Tastefully decorated and furnished by the owner. Found a thoughtful welcome pack on arrival and the owner was very helpful and attentive to our needs. Wolf Cottage is in a good location being a short walk from the harbour with its cafes, restaurants and also Weymouth’s Esplanade. A visit to the local pub, the Chaplehay Tavern is quite an experience! A proper old school local boozer now being run as a community enterprise. We knew in advance that there was on street parking only but were fortunate enough to find spaces right outside the property where we left our cars for the duration of our stay.

• "This is an amazing property, spotlessly clean and very modern and very spacious so perfect for a large family, owner made contact with me as we arrived so that was a lovely welcoming gesture, would highly recommend, it’s also near the harbour where there are excellent restaurants and a 10 minute walk from the sea so perfect for couples or families, it’s simply perfect!"

• "A fantastically placed cottage to be able to visit all Weymouth has to offer."

  A very comfortable and spacious cottage for 6 people. Parking was limited as we came in 3 cars but once we found a space on arrival we didn't use the cars and travelled by Jurassic coaster buses which were a brilliant touch to the holiday, reasonably priced and very reliable. Highly recommend the holiday as a whole.

• "On the whole The cottage was lovely and clean and the welcome pack a lovely gesture."

  The towels were nice and soft and fluffy and the bed very comfortable. It was well equipped and welcoming. The owner text us and seemed really friendly and helpful and we were able to check in one hour earlier which was brilliant. Parking however was a nightmare we had to leave our car at the other side of town. I understand it is a problem in Weymouth and little can be done about it. The outdoor space was a little grubby so we never used it. Appreciate it is an outside yard and difficult to keep clean but such a shame we couldn’t enjoy it after a long day walking. It was exceptionally hot and sunny outside during our stay and the living room was unbearably hot without any blinds. The curtains only covered part of the window. It was however very central and an excellent base for visiting the rest of Dorset.

Yes sadly parking can be a little tricky for many cottages near the harbour area but most find a space within a short walk. Apologies the patio was a little overgrown with weeds, our gardener missed a visit but has since been back so all should be well again. Finally regarding the curtains, it is lovely and sunny in the lounge but the curtains should draw fully so odd you still had a problem. We will check them!   ! Great Location to get into the town and beach and the house was a great size for 5 of us.. Would just say the back bedroom can get quite cold at night whereas the other 2 bedrooms stay fairly warm !! Also the mattress in the back bedroom isn’t the comfiest and maybe that should be upgraded as it’s quite thin but these are just picky bits !! The house in general is done to a great standard and would definitely stay here again !!
