  • "We had a lovely stay."

    The beach front was in easy walking distance. There was a handy co-op and we caught the bus into Bournemouth. The only thing missing was a tea towel which luckily we had taken one. A few more cups and crockery would mean we would not have to put the dishwasher on as often.

  • "Greatly enjoyed our stay at 1 Blue Waters."

    Was very well maintained equipped with two bathrooms making our stay even more convenient. All mod cons were in situ and the accommodation was very comfortable and felt like home from home. The street is very quiet and only heard some seagulls all week and a five minute walk from the seafront accessible via a zig - zag path. We would recommend a stay here and would be happy to return in future. Thank you Steve and Julie ;-)

  • "Extremely comfortable, home away from home."

    spotlessly clean and tidy. Large screen TV! Two bathrooms, absolutely everything has been considered and provided. The balcony is a real sun trap too. It is the perfect location, close to the beach, shops and takeaways and some excellent restaurants. There is plenty to do, parking is expensive, but the bus service is excellent, close and cheap. There is an electric car charging station close by, we found that handy as it is a fast charge but slightly more expensive. The path to the beach is a stretch in that it is a collection of steep slopes and stairs. Even the slope which is called disabled friendly, is very steep. So although the property is a perfect location, it may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. Worth the effort as the beach has wonderful miles of sand and perfectly clear water. We can't wait to go back.

  • "Fantastic stay at ' Blue Waters'."

    The apartment is in a lovely quiet area close to seafront. Had everything could possibly need for a fuss free holiday. The cleanliness was fab, the beds were so comfortable. Good communication from the owners. Slight downside for me personally was that couldn't have a window open at night(only a patio door in master bedroom) but that didn't spoil our stay this time due to lower temperatures! Fans were available if needed. Would recommend a stay here without hesitation

  • "We had a problem with the washing machine, however, the owner got it sorted for us immediately."

    Allocated parking for one car. Very close to the beach and to local shops , also an excellent bus service nearby.   • "A lovely base to explore the Dorset Coast."

    The accommodation was very well presented, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Communication before and during our stay was excellent. The bus service was amazing, and we were able to visit everywhere we wanted to without using our car all week, plenty of places to drink and eat within walking distance too.   • "Main page of listing states "ground floor apartment" however in the smaller print later in the description it is a "lower ground floor" ."

    Hallway has a fusty odour when you enter the apartment. Parking space is beneath two trees which leave your car covered in seed heads, leaves etc. A great location for access to SoBo beach.

  • "1 Blue Waters is a lovely find."

    We were amazed to be so close to the beach and to have wonderful walks along the coast in both directions. The apartment is comfortable and well equipped. Even although it is a basement flat the sun comes into the front rooms and makes it bright and welcoming. It is lovely being able to sit outside at the table in the sunshine on the terrace. It is also so useful having a parking space available.

  • "This is a bright, well-equipped apartment that is perfect for seaside holidays."

    It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including two luxurious bathrooms. It was great to be so close to the beach and we enjoyed breakfast at the beach bar every morning as well as long walks along the coast and shorter routes to Christchurch. The bus services are excellent, so we left the car and hopped on the bus to Poole and Bournemouth. There are lots of lovely places to eat, drink and shop in nearby Southbourne Grove.

  • "The apartment is ideal for 2 couples."

    It is particularly well furnished. The only extra item we would have liked was a carpet sweeper or vacuum cleaner. The apartment is bright and warm. We did not use a car at all during our stay as there are buses serving the whole of the coast from Christchurch to Poole within 5 minutes walk of the apartment . We would highly recommend the property..

    The location was absolutely perfect with everything you need on hand, a short stroll to the beach and local supermarket, cafes and takeaway.   • "This is a stylish modern apartment, it's cosy and warm throughout."

    It's location is good, close to the seafront in Southbourne. We used a bus stop nearby to go into Bournemouth and then walked back to Southbourne along the promenade - a great walk along the sea. Walking the other way is Hengistbury Head and the Hiker Cafe - both worth a visit. There's a Co-op food store just round the corner and we enjoyed a meal from The Indian Ocean takeaway at the end of the road.

Southbourne is a suburb of Bournemouth with its own sandy beach and local facilities, only a short drive from Bournemouth centre. It’s a pleasant place to find independent shops and boutiques along with a Post Office, gift shops and cafes. The Fisherman's Walk Cliff Railway, is a funicular railway which links the coastal road with the promenade and beach area. Nearby Bournemouth offers something for everyone all year round. With seven miles of golden, award-winning Blue Flag beaches, there are all kinds of watersports, boat trips and stunning gardens to keep you busy during the day. Or, why not explore the town’s bustling shopping centre, which offers a large selection of curiosity and specialist shops.
