"Rose Cottage provides a very comfortable property for a week of chilling and re-charging of batteries."
Daily drive up to the clifftop for dog walks means you never need to go far. Kitchen area (large) and adjoining garden room were our focal points. The property is well heated. Loads of kitchen/food prep equipment and of good quality. Really enjoyed the stay and rated accordingly. A few minor points - shower clip is broken (but manageable), garden quite limited but it mainly rained !! And there is no downstairs toilet. All entirely manageable and only referenced for those looking to book in the future. This is a good property.

"Very comfortable and well located period cottage, within a mile or so of Ringstead Bay beach."
Well furnished and a lovely enclosed garden area for the dogs. Close to the South Coast Path and some great walking / running. We had a really enjoyable stay with relatives, even viewed the northern lights

"Several issues let the property down The shower slider was broken on arrival A bolt in the header of the kitchen bi-fold door came out on the 3rd day The stairs were very steep with high risers not good for small children and older people with any mobility issues One of the stair spindles came out and had to rebuild the last 3/4 spindles of the stairs."
Struggled to lock the balcony door in fact never managed to lock it. Never understood the TV and the garden room never managed to select anything. So I think that in the winter the owners need to spend some time on the maintenance of the property especially the safety and security of the property Other wise once we had the heating on (very cold week) enjoyed the cottage

"The house was comfortable and met expectations."
It felt spacious. Though the listing is accurate it fails to point out that the basin in the ensuite is over the toilet and you can only approach it at an awkward angle. I found it very difficult to use. It was quite shallow and the toilet was always getting wet. Also the lane is very busy and very narrow.

"A wonderful spacious house that proved to be a great base from which to drive out and explore the Dorset coast and countryside."
The comfortable beds helped us recharge after long days out and we appreciated the large kitchen-diner that brought the family together. Our two energetic grandsons loved exploring the house and garden. They also enjoyed the many board games, which were especially appreciated by the adults when we had a whole day of rain :). All in all, our stay at Rose Cottage made for a beautiful holiday filled with life-long memories for our family to cherish. Thank you for helping create a holiday for us to remember!

"We had a really wonderful week in Rose Cottage."
It is such a beautiful home and feel very lucky to have stayed in such a lovely place. It is so well equipped even for the dogs and such a lovely garden which is a real sun trap. It is certainly a place we would be happy to return to.

"Fabulous luxury cottage with everything you could ask for, weather could have been a bit better but that was the only downside."
We wished we had booked for a fortnight instead of a week as it was such a beautiful place and nicely located for surrounding places of interest. We will come by train next time and hire a car as it's a long drive from the north east but would definitely want to stay at rose cottage again as it had such a lovely homely feel. Fantastic garden for us and doggy pals too
Thank you so much for your very kind review. We hope to be able to welcome you back one day. Tina Property Owner

"Our multi generational family and our dog had a wonderful week at Rose Cottage."
It had everything we needed and more. There was plenty of space for all of us. We especially loved the dining kitchen and sun room. Rose Cottage is perfectly placed to visit many attractions in the area, plus the beach and wonderful coastal walks. We visited Corfe Castle, Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, Studland Bay, Wareham, Weymouth and Abbotsbury. All were within a 25 min drive. We would definitely recommend Rose Cottage for a family holiday or for anyone wanting a really relaxing break.
Liz, Thank you so much for your lovely feedback. We are really pleased you enjoyed your stay. Tina Property Owner

"Our stay at Rose Cottage over Christmas 2023 was just wonderful."
It was warm, extremely comfortable, well equipped, spacious and beautifully decorated. The Christmas tree provided was lovely and the Hamper was an especially generous, thoughtful touch. We felt that the 2 dogs we had with us were well catered for. The location was great…..would definitely love to come back during the summer months.
Dear Susan Thank you for your lovely review. We are very glad you enjoyed your stay at our home, we hope to welcome you back again in the future. Best wishes Tina Property Owner

"Lovely stay great location garden and thoughtful gifts Well equipped really ..."
Lovely stay great location garden and thoughtful gifts Well equipped really lovely furnishings Would have been great to have been advised where to get logs from as first night without them we were cold and wanted to sit the lounge all together When it’s really cold think visitors would struggle without fire on Lots of hot water and panel heaters easy to control Thanks for a great stay
Hi Babs Thank you so much for your review. We do leave some logs out so I am really sorry if these had been used up before your stay - we will look at better way to replenish between bookings and we will also advise where to buy more from. Next week we are also upgrading the downstairs heating system with new smart radiators. Best wishes Tina Property Owner

"Rose cottage was one of the best holiday cottages we have stayed in."
Everything that was needed was there. Beds very comfy. Only slight problem was very slippery shower tray in en suite (probably only needs some sort of anti slip strips) and hook behind the door. Other than that a fabulous cottage! Thank you.
Hi Joy We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for your comments regarding the shower tray - we will ask the maintenance team to put an anti slip mat in. Thanks Tina Property Owner

"Two Adults and Two dogs - We were delighted with Rose Cottage, a true home from home feeling !"
and a superb location to explore the Jurraisc Coast. Doggie heaven. The cottage is very well equipped, plenty of room, an amazing kitchen with a delightful snug just off of it. As the weather was so good we didn’t have the need to light up the wood burner but we were very tempted to anyway. The cottage benefits from two footpaths close at hand one along the coast to Osmington Mills and the amazing smugglers inn and the other up a vertical slope but once you’re over it it’s an amazing walk done to Ringstead bay. As veteran, cottage holidaymakers we loved our stay and would certainly recommend it.
Dear Alex Thank you so much for your lovely review, we are so glad you enjoyed your stay at our house. We hope we may be able to welcome you back again in the future. Kind regards Tina Property Owner
