  • "Excellent accommodation plenty of room for the 9 of us plus one dog."

All the appliances you need were there. Close to beach 5mins walk. Shops pubs cafes all within short walking distances. Only problem we had was the tv , the netflix station didn't work for kids but did not spoil the holiday one bit. Highly recommend. Les

  • "The downstairs shower room was smelling really bad."

The walls in the living/dining room had rising damp where we could see water bubbles. We parked outside to unload and then was told by a neighbour opposite we wasn’t allowed to. Sunday when we left it was raining heavily and there was nowhere to park outside.

  • "The change to the parking turned out alright, but threw us a bit at the beginning."

It was unfortunate that there were not enough toilet rolls provided. Having to buy some when on holiday is a nuisance. Also, I had to swap the hand soap so that we didn’t run out.

Warm, cosy and clean. The owner was really helpful and very responsive. I even noted a brand new, unopened pizza cutter so clearly responsive to the feedback left by previous guests too!

We all spoke about negatives of the property, the best we got was lack of a pizza cutter, if that's all we've got the owners have got something right

  • "On arrival the house looked very nice."

Unfortunately the second floor bed had a mattress which was very uncomfortable - you could feel the springs through it. The first floor double mattress was also very uncomfortable. We then had a blocked toilet day two, which was too unpleasant to use the shower in there, so five of us with one bathroom. The out of service bathroom was in the dining area so we had to ensure door closed at all times!! Plumber came as we left but he could not repair. Quite an expensive rent for one bathroom and two uncomfortable beds. Location close to beech but neighbours could be heard arguing aggressively, so bit concerning.

The street where the property is situated is basically rough, very noisy with people screaming and shouting outside through the night, motorbikes and vehicles tearing up and down the street all night. Location to the beach very good, in hindsight very overpriced for the week we stayed

  • "Wow..."

.an amazing holiday home!! I have 6 children 2 of which have autism, it's so important to find a home from home and this has everything from space to play to an Xbox (with games) to play. All the children thoroughly enjoyed the week, the location is perfect a short walk to beach, town, train, pubs etc. Host quick to respond to any queries and very understanding about noisy children! We are definitely going back in the summer, one of the best holiday homes we've been to 10/10. Two dogs came with us a (Pomeranian & Suluki cross) they had enough space to feel comfortable, garden is good, one of my son's played football alot and no noise complaints. Thank you so much for an amazing holiday stay!!

  • "Well appointed house in residential area close to beach."

It is a 10 minute stroll along prom to the busier part of the beach where you will find the donkeys, small fair rides and a bit further there are more rides and towards the pavillion a larger fair. It's about a 20 minutes walk to the bustling harbour where you will find bars and places to eat. Over the bridge to more eateries and the Brewers Quay. You will find the boat rides this side too. Walking the other way takes you to lovely gardens with a cafe and live music on Sundays. This side is more upmarket and the beach is half pebble and sand. The sea is shallow and calm and perfect for little ones. The house is 3 storey with an exceptionally large bathroom. A lovely big shower enclosure with glass door. The outdoor space is decked with table, chairs and loungers and is a good sun trap. The downstairs shower room and toilet is under the stairs and does have a musty aroma but it is clean although none of us used this shower. The bedrooms vary in size the largest being on the 1st floor which overlooks the street which can be a bit noisy when folk going home. As mentioned in previous reviews the rooms do not have wardrobes, except for top floor where one is on landing. However there are strong rails with plenty of hangers. Unfortunately no drawers in bedrooms on 1st floor only bedside cabinets so tshirts etc either out of case or on floor. There were 6 adults and 1 toddler staying for a fortnight in total and the house suited us well. A bonus was the paid parking in the Swannery car park which is about 10 minutes away. Would recommend you take earplugs though, the dawn chorus if seagulls is very loud.

  • "This was a really beautiful house, which had so many lovely features."

It was described by one of the children as like staying in Narnia - the house just kept getting bigger the further you went into it! The bathroom was particularly spectacular. All the bedrooms were a great size. The back yard was perfect for sitting in the evening. It is in a really convenient place for all parts of Weymouth, beaches, harbour, shops, RSPB reserves, Sea life centre and would be very good for anyone arriving by train. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Matt was extremely helpful with regards the parking permits, which was a real bonus for the stay. We would definitely come back again.

  • "Beautiful house in close proximity to the fantastic beach."

Stunning 4 bedroom house in Weymouth, beautifully decorated with absolutely everything you could possibly need its like home from home. The bedrooms are amazing all with TVs and lovely comfortable beds. Huge bathroom with separate bath and shower and 2nd shower and toilet downstairs. Beautiful modern fitted kitchen. Garden is a fabulous area where you can just chill after a long day at the beach or sip drinks in the evening when the kids have settled down. A 5 min walk to the beautiful beach. Matt the owner is amazing and will go out of his way to help you, we accidently left some luggage behind and he is arranging to get it returned to us he really is going above and beyond. Highly recommend this property, we were a family of 7 adults and 2 children and shall definitely return.

The house was nice and spacious and accommodated 2 families well. We had direct contact with the owner while we were there who was very friendly and helpful. The kitchen was well equipt and we were able to make use of the outdoor space. The location was fantastic and you can walk to the beach in minutes and also to the station. As mentioned in the listing the parking permit is for a car park 10 mins walk away, but you are able to park for an hour on the street to unload so that wasn't a problem for us.

  • "We were amazed that you could rate this as 5 star."

It was generally clean. It had several air fresheners, to disguise the smells I guess, especially the damp smell from the toilet under the stairs, which had a wash basin not even plumbed for hot water! Both showers had curtains rather than glass doors, The upstairs' shower curtains had black mold along the bottom. The quality of the bedding was woeful, the cheapest possible I assume. None of the bedrooms had wardrobes, just the cheapest plastic hanging rails, with insufficient hangers ( we had to purchase more on our first day) just as well there were only 2 of us staying, if there were more we would have had to live out of our cases. There was not ample parking as some reviews suggested. All parking nearby was restricted. The permits issued were for a car park a good 10 minuets walk away. Fine if you are fit (we fortunately are) and OK if it wasn't raining. The facilities were generally fine. Couldn't find a cork screw and after a week of looking never found the safe! It was not the best part of town but well located for all the main facilities.

Of course, fish and chips excellent all round Shopping area brilliant. The house was situated in a very accessible area and place. Plenty of parking available. • "Fabulous holiday home with everything you need."

Exceptionally clean and well maintained. Owner accessible and helpful although we only contacted him once to enquire about car park passes. I guess the only slight negative if I’m looking for one is that you have to leave your car in a public car park ( permit supplied) which is a short walk from the property. You are however able to park for one hour outside the house to load/unload your luggage. The house is close to the beach and a nice steady stroll to the town centre/harbour is about 15 - 20 minutes. Overall a great holiday home central enough to everything you need but tucked away so it’s nice and quiet. Even the weather was kind to us!

There was no need to take drying up cloths as they were supplied plus all the facilities were available that you would expect. It’s an easy walk to town and bars and restaurants are not far away. 4 bedrooms with 3 doubles and a single with bunks and a single means its ideal for families. Will definitely return and love Weymouth as there is something for everyone there. Neighbours offered support about restaurants nearby and very friendly so would highly recommend this house
