  • "We had a lovely family stay in this very well equipped house."

The children enjoyed the pool and the adult children enjoyed the games room especially wonder boy from their youth. The views at the back were stunning as were the walks around the village A very large and comfortable house would recommend staying at This property.

The property

This exquisite holiday home, tucked away in the village of Osmington (less than a mile from the sea) and backing onto countryside, ticks all the boxes for a perfect memorable family holiday. From the moment you walk into this modern spacious property you will be wowed with its features and sense of space. Entertain under the vaulted ceiling in the huge open space, cook in the granite worktop laden kitchen, relax in front of the fire and finish off with a dip in the pool. Upstairs, you will find four bedrooms, all of which have TVs and en-suites, flat screens and plenty of room to relax. Explore Baytree Lodge to find its own separate building which houses a games room complete with a pool table, table football and arcade games machine.

Above the games room is a king size bedroom.

The sense of space continues outside into the garden. The grounds offer privacy, a lovely open country outlook and can be completely enclosed offering security and peace of mind with little ones. Outside you will find an in-built brick BBQ and a play area for the children for the days when the adults just want to sit back and relax.

Miles of footpaths leave straight from the property. The stunningly rustic Ringstead beach is only a five minute drive away and Weymouth, famous for its long golden sands is only a little further. The Dorset Coastal path can be picked up at nearby Osmington Mills where the Smugglers pub offers a welcome break after a bracing walk. Where you’ll be staying

OSMINGTON

Osmington village, sits on the Jurassic coastline of Dorset, just 6 miles from Weymouth with it’s infamous beach and historic harbour and just 11 miles from Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. Home to the famous Chalk hillside carving of George III on horseback, cut into the hillside to commemorate the Royal visits to Weymouth, this landmark can be seen from miles away. It is also the place that John Constable spent his honeymoon in 1816 and where he completed his painting of Weymouth Bay that now hangs in the National Gallery. The South West Coastal path runs through Osmington Mills, a tiny hamlet on the edge of Osmington. Here many walkers start their coast path walks at the Smugglers inn, where reputedly there are historic connections to smuggling. Be sure to visit to find out all the stories. A short drive will see you reach a local convenience store at Preston. Weymouth offers a larger variety of shopping, eating and entertainment choices.

Note: Please note that the swimming pool, games room and children's play area are all unsupervised and are therefore used at your own risk.
Note: Please also be aware gardeners will be attending the property intermittently throughout the year for essential garden maintenance.
Note: The heated swimming pool will be closed on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8am - 9am for essential pool maintenance (except bank holidays). Maintenance contractors will access the pool via the garden and not through the house.
Note: 1 x King-size bedroom is situated outside the main house above, the games room.
Note: First basket of logs for wood burner fire provided between Oct-April

Note: Good House keeping bond of £200
