"This is the second year we have been back."
The apartment is an home from home with everything you could need. The parking is an absolute bonus too. The view from the apartment is to die for and the location is exceptional. You are in the middle of the bars and restaurant and a few minutes walk to the beach. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend the apartment to anyone. The welcome box with treats and milk in the fridge was such a lovely touch! Thanks so much for another amazing week in Weymouth. X

"Lovely apartment and well equipped."
local to everything. Skirting and blinds could do with a clean and carpet stained. Apart from that everything else was perfect and we really enjoyed our stay.

"This is not our first visit to harbour hideaway and each time has been enjoyable."

"We have just got back from a lovely weeks stay in the Harbour Hideaway."
The flat was clean & had everything we needed for our stay. On arrival we did need to contact the Dreams Cottages office as both parking spaces in the garage were occupied. We later found out that the owner of flat 1 also owns flat 3 above & they allow these guests to use the parking space when it is empty, as flat 3 has no parking. Once the office had contacted them, the owner then made us wait an hour & half for our space whilst his guest went to the pub before they left! Not the best start to our holiday, but after that we didn't move our car for the week. Weymouth had plenty for us to do during our stay & we would not let this put us off booking this apartment in the future.

"I had to phone your office in Weymouth on our first day to complain about the state of the lounge carpet re the amount of stains on it and how dirty it was."
Also the property is for 4 people and there are only 3 chairs in the kitchen for the table, all of which were dirty and sticky. The first job we had to do was repair the lock on the bathroom door as it did not close or lock. Luckily one of us is a builder and could repair the lock. On further inspection the top of the skirting boards throughout the property had never been wiped as they was black dirt/dust on them which I had to wipe with a wet wipe. Also it seems that the edges of the carpets had not been vacuumed or under the beds and settees. In fact I had to dust the whole property. The cushions for the two dining table chairs were dirty and stained and we were not able to sit on them. Also the yellow scatter cushions were dirty. The table mats had to be wiped on both sides as food was stuck to the undersides. When we pulled the table out next to the wall there was old mouldy food particulars and the table frame was thick dust. When the table was open this had obviously not been wiped. The bottom of the rubbish bin had had something leak in it and smelt. Once again I had to clean it all. The bathroom was nicely tiled however the seal is coming away along the edge of the bath and the seal at the bottom of the shower screen is black with mould as is around the end of the bath. All windows in and out had not been cleaned. It was a shame that a nice property has not been cared for or cleaned to a high standard. May 2022

"Great property in a great location."
Little noisy in the morning, but is expected when staying in a bustling harbour. Would highly recommend it.
-
"A great location convenient for restaurants etc."
Comfortable bed; sofas less so. A pity there were no obvious facilities for recycling rather than binning waste. All essential kitchen equipment provided. Some instructions not doable, like switching off heating before leaving. But all in all suited us very well.

"Absolute little Gem of an apartment, fabulous location close to harbour, restaurants, bars and beach."
Left the car in the garage all week, which is an added bonus. Balcony with harbour view perfect for a morning coffee. There was only 2 of us so the place was perfect and enough space for us for the week. Would recommend this place for a good positioned apartment with garage parking.

"This apartment is really well situated for access to the amenities of Weymouth and having parking is great."
However, if you’re wanting a peace and quiet (which we were) it’s not ideal. Close proximity to bars etc means it is a bit noisy at night, especially at the weekend. Also there is a constant hum from an air conditioner next to the apartment - you can’t hear it inside with the windows shut but you can hear it a lot on the balcony, so we didn’t sit out. There were a few minor maintenance issues that we reported so hopefully they will be sorted. However my request for additional bedding was ignored, which was disappointing. Overall, if you want to be near to the buzz of Weymouth, this apartment is well situated and has all the facilities you would expect.

"Fantastic accommodation."
Exceeded expectation and was exactly as described. Everything for a family of 4 for a weeks holiday plus a lot more.

"This is a lovely, well appointed apartment which is situated a street back from the harbour but which has a great outlook over it from the living room and its balcony."
It was great to not have to worry about finding a parking space and be able to leave the car in the garage underneath the property as everything you need - the beach, shops, harbour, restaurants, bars - is within walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. Just a couple of points to note: as stated in a couple of previous reviews, firstly there is some noise, especially late at night and early in the morning due to the property being situated between a pub and a restaurant and there also being other cafes and restaurants in close proximity. The bedrooms look out over the street where the back of the cafes and restaurants are which means that you can hear quite a bit of noise from the bins being filled late at night and very early morning deliveries being made. Secondly, there is no storage in the twin bedroom for clothes. Something else to be aware of is that the dimensions given for the parking space in the garage do not state that there is reduced height at the back due to the stairwell. We have a long wheel base VW T5 which, according to the dimensions given, should have fitted but actually would not have done due to this partial height reduction. Luckily, we decided at the last minute to use the other car so we avoided this problem but it would be useful to add this information.

"Amazing view."
Felt like you were sitting in the harbour.
-
"Only one tiny comment."
I appreciate that there isn’t room for a wardrobe in the twin room, but perhaps to affix a chrome bar on the wall to have free hanging of clothes would be a real plus.

"Great location for Weymouth and the surrounding area."
Buses run regularly or you can use the train for local towns. Weymouth has many good bars and restaurants. The flat was great, comfortable bed and watching the boats making their way into the marina was great. Need to be aware that whilst this is a great place for a flat the proximity of the hotels and bars does bring a low level of noise. Also that there are two flights of stairs to get in and out of the flat. We had a very lovely week there.

"Great location, you should change the first photo on your advert as it does not do the property justice and we almost ruled it out."
But it was perfect

"Really lovely apartment , very clean and with everything you need for an enjoyable break away."
Centrally located with added bonus of garage parking.

"Harbour Hideawayis a beautifully refurbished apartment with top quality furnishings and finished to a very high standard."
The beds are extremely comfortable, and the pillows and quilts are very good quality. The bathroom is amazing with quality tiling throughout the entire bathroom, and a very nice, easy to use shower. The living room is uncluttered and very comfortable with lovely louvered shutters instead of curtains. The shutters open out on to a balcony overlooking the harbour, and is ideal for sitting with breakfast on sunny days. The kitchen is finished with nicely fitted gloss white cabinets and all the usual white goods, all hidden away with cabinet fronts. This is a wonderful apartment, very close to the sea-front with all the shops easily within walking distance. The vendor has created a very comfortable holiday apartment, many thanks.

"Great flat, had all the facilities we wanted, splendid location close to the harbour and town, plus a parking space in the garage underneath."
We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the boats pass by and then nipping down to one of the cafes and having a coffee by the waterside.
-
"The flat was very clean and well equipped as stated in the details."
The view of the harbour from the balcony was better than we expected. Very central position and so very convenient for everything.
