"Another wonderful stay at this apartment."
Great location, beautiful outlook, wonderful decor and cleanliness.
-
"Love this property and have stayed five times in 3 years."
The lift was out of order this time BUT was quickly repaired so I only had to walk up once. Even if the weather is wet and windy. the view from the living room is a delight. Looking forward to my next visit. Maureen Morris
-
"Well appointed, superb location."
Everything we needed for a perfect holiday. Although the chairs on the balcony need replacing. We will have no hesitation booking this apartment again on our next visit to Weymouth.

"This review is for Harbourside Haven apartment three only."
We were extremely happy with the apartment cleanliness facilities, showers, bed everything it would be somewhere I could see myself living in the future. There is no carpark facilities available, but just a short walk over the bridge is a very good carpark with all night parking for free Between 6 o’clock and 8 o’clock in the morning. When we parked up for the night we paid £2.20 which covers three hours and that is carried over till the morning so we never had to be at the car park until 11 o’clock. The only thing which spoiled our holiday was the people In the flat above us constantly walking heavily from room to room this would go on for hours with no stopping. Sometimes the walking was so heavy things would vibrate on our coffee table.. This would start around 7.30 in the morning and go on till we went out and then would start again Once they came back to their apartment. There should be notices put all around the apartment blocks telling people not to wear shoes once in the apartments and to walk quietly so not disturb other Holiday makers. Because of this problem, we won’t be booking this holiday home again

"What a lovely apartment in a excellent position looking over the marina, we were very pleasantly surprised how nice it was big main bedroom en suite, all underfloor heating which we did not need to use the entire place stayed around 21 degrees, lift straight to the outside of your room great for your suitcase or for the less able, 2 minute walk to bars and restaurants."
There is no parking with apartment 3, but we booked the multi storey car park 2 minutes walk for £25 for the week. It was really quite through the night which is great for us as we are light sleepers, all in all it was perfect for us 100%
-
"Excellent, well appointed and very clean apartment with wonderful views of the marina."
We would definitely stay again. We parked at North Quay car park DT4 8TA. Free parking from 6pm - 8am and then £6 for 10 hours, so basically £6 per day. You can see your car across the river from the apartment. To drop your bags use closest car park Cosens Quay car park DT4 8AQ 50p for 30 minutes, £1 for an hour. Can't park overnight though.

"No Garage Had To Park In Multi Story Car Park"
-
"A lovely apartment with an interesting view."
Well equipped, comfortable seating and sleeping. Ideal for two couples. One thing I would like is a tea tray, I usually bring my own plus cups as I don't like mugs, but this is a personal preference. Look forward to returning again soon.
-
"Our second time in this block which cannot been bettered for position on the harbour, convenience to all the shops and restaurants and home comforts."
Parking at Brittania Carpark very simple to arrange and 3 mins walk away. Communications with holiday company excellent.
-
"Lovely place stayed a few times, will definitely be back."
Always well cleaned & nice welcome pack.
-
"This rental was truly first class."
I cannot fault this or the location in any way whatsoever. We actually stayed there for two months and so naturally did a lot of research before booking. Having now seen a lot of Weymouth I seriously doubt that there is a better 2 bed:2 bath anywhere in the town. Sykes cottages and Dream Cottages were excellent to communicate with and very efficient. I hope to return.

"Love this apartment."
very clean and warm. Comfortable beds and ideal for two couples. We enjoy the view from the lounge in all weather. Convenient for shops, buses and restaurants. A tray would be useful as we usually bring our own.

"When we booked many months ago the listing had said it had a car parking space under the property, a week before we came I noticed this had been taken off."
The parking onsite was why we chose the property as others have also said. I was advised the space part of the listing was removed in 2022, others had also been expecting the parking space going on reviews, so this was not the case. It also said on the property listing there may be building work, yet we hadn’t been informed of this risk before our stay. Sykes told us there is currently no work going on luckily, if we got there to it this it would have been an issue as it’s the agents job to inform you of such things before hand. View lovely, clean property. However didn’t appreciate being woken at 4am in the morning from a spinning washing machine above us, you can also hear everything in the communal stairs outside the flat at all times. Not getting in til 5pm was a pain, sadly not worth the almost £600 for less than a 48 hour stay. Apart from the view, there’s nothing else I could class as luxurious about the property for the money, compared to other places I’ve stayed in the past.

"Absolutely fantastic apartment."
Great location. So clean and tidy. Could not fault it

"Our stay and apartment, location beautiful now comes the rest."
We put our keys in the wall safe and moved the numbers when we went out , when we came back someone had tampered with the key safe . We phoned up twice to number provided to report this both times they said would get back to us about it but never heard a thing we also mentioned the top screws on front door handle had also become loose as though they had been undone and they said they would send someone to look at it but needless to say no one came!!!!

"Great Apartment (tho a little fussy for our taste!"
) very comfortable and in good position. (we were sorry to leave so early in the rental - due to a bereavment in the family) The only problems we found was the lack of utensils in the kitchen which meant you could not use the dishwasher.... Other than this OK ...... not too sure about Weymouth itself though??

"Where do I start."
With the parking fine and all the fees we had to pay or the fact that we didn't know it doesn't have underground parking which aparently it mentioned on the website but wasn't mentioned on the phone when I had spoken and mentioned we had stayed in the penthouse 5 last year. The thing that has really cheesed us off is the fact, when Pentouse 5 had come available and I asked to change to it I was told that it might be owned by a different person and that you had already entered into a contract for property 3. What a load of crap...You can tell it's owned by the same person as it's all decorated the same. People we spoke to there told us it was owned by the same people. What it boils down to is you couldn't be bothered because it ment you doing some work. My wife is disabled, my youngest daughter is disabled and I can only walk short distances since major surgery on my back. We ended up parking up the road overnight for me to get up and move it by 8 o'clock next day and then pay 5 pound for parking. This holiday was spoiled by your lack of customer service as you couldn't put the customer first and change our room. No doubt you will tell me something that's a load of bull to cover youself and how very sorry you are. The property itself is great and my wife loved it and she wants me to book Penthouse 5 as soon as it becones available. I would like to but why should I pay money to you after you wrecked our holiday this year for you to profit from it next year again. Sorry if it's a bit of a moan but all you had to do was change our room.

"The property was beautifully presented, clean and has the harbourside view from the living room."
It was also much larger than expected. The parking at the nearby multi storey was a doddle having bought a week long season pass. The parking is also surprisingly close to the property. A short walk away there are numerous Quay side bars and eateries and the beach is only a 7 minute walk away. There is a nearby Tesco express and several other 7-11 type shops nearby for provisions. Weymouth is a lovely town with plenty to do for the children without it being too over commercialised. Overall had a very happy week at this apartment.
-
"Property stunning, view amazing over looking harbour, will definitely come back to this apartment"
-
"Beautiful apartment with amazing view of the harbour."
We loved our stay here and would highly recommend it. As stated in other reviews this apartment does not have parking but the multi-storey around the corner on Commercial Road can be pre-booked at £25 for 7 days.
-
"Had a fantastic holiday and the view from the living room was breathtaking."
All our needs were catered for and parking at the multi storey was 2 minutes away and cost £25 for 7 days. All in all would highly recommend this apartment. Steve and Angie
-
"A very clean, spacious and modern apartment set in a lovely location."
Views from lounge were amazing. Location very good for amenities and would definitely recommend
-
"Love the comfort and location of this apartment."
Ideal for two couples.
-
"Really enjoyed our holiday in this fabulous apartment, with outstanding views of the marina."
It is fitted out to a very high standard, the kitchen is equipped with everything you could need (apart from an instruction manual for the induction hob, which would have been useful), bathroom and en suite are excellent (for info - heated towel rail in the en suite was not working, but would no doubt have been fixed,if we'd asked). It's central situation is ideal, with easy access to all parts of Weymouth town. We have added this apartment to the list of our favourite Sykes properties in Weymouth and would love to stay here again.
-
"We had a small problem with the front door."
This was quickly sorted out. Any communication with this company has a positive helpful response.
-
"We had a fantastic week at harbourside apartments."
The apartment itself was well equipped, clean and spacious. My only complaint would be (and i can see others have mentioned it too) is that there is no parking permit for the apartment, it should not be advertised as having one and needs to be removed from the literature!
-
"We have had a wonderful week at this property, location is superb with a fantastic view."
The apartment is very spacious with everything you need. The only downside was not having a parking space but we booked a parking space nearby for the week.
-
"Fantastic apartment with lovely views of the harbour from the balcony."
Conveniently located for everything in Weymouth. Very clean, well presented and well equipped apartmen, the milk, tea, coffee and biscuits gave the personal touch. Will certainly stay here again
-
"Fantastic apartment, great location and very comfortable."
-
"Very clean and spacious apartment with great views of the marina."
-
"It's a lovely place - modern, clean, comfortable, and huge windows in the living room overlooking the harbour."
Kitchen was well-equipped, so issues raised by guests in previous comments must have been addressed. Could do with coat hooks - I'm sure that's easily addressed as well. Only issue - lack of information about the parking situation. For the benefit of future guests: APARTMENT 3 HAS NO ALLOCATED PARKING SPACE, OR PERMIT FOR LOCAL CAR PARK. The solution is to park in the multi-story car park round the corner, which can be booked in advance. Go to this website: https://www.britannia-parking.co.uk/, select "season ticket", select "Weymouth", and then on the "Choose a Ticket" page select "Weekly £25" (option bottom-right corner of page). The number-plate recognition system at the barriers will then allow you to come and go as you please. Easy and no big deal - once you know. DON'T DO WHAT I DID - I selected "Book a Space" and a date range, and got stung for £70. (Dream Cottages were able to provide me with the website details but I had to phone the Britannia Parking head office to find out if leaving and returning during the week was possible as DC couldn't confirm this, and the website didn't say). We would really have appreciated having the above information on the property listing - it would have saved a good deal of faff and expense.

"Booked this Apartment to share with friends."
I liked the entry system as we could be independant. The information book could be improved to include an Idiots Guide! Getting the hob to work was a problem. Loved the location .
-
"“Lovely apartment, beautifully furnished and perfect location with a great view of the harbour."
Only criticism is the parking. There is no underground car parking space for apartment 3, so the information folder left at the apartment needs to be updated and car park fob information removed. The permit for the Nothe car park was quite a walk away - there are closer car parks that could be covered by the permit surely? apart from that all good.
-
"When we booked the apartment it was listed has having a parking space at the property and another parking permit for a nearby car park."
However when we arrived at the apartment we found that the parking space and for apartment 3 had been removed. In the apartment was a sign stating the key fob for the car park at the apartment was hanging on a hook inside the front door, which it was not and that if we lost it there would be a £100 bill to replace it. There was still only one permit for the local car park which was quite a long walk up a steep hill. This was not at all convenient if you are two couples traveling in separate cars, the second car would need to pay parking fees which are very high !!! When i contacted Dream Cottages all i got was a copy of the email which i had been sent a 3 weeks earlier which after a closer examination did not mention the parking space had been removed but did say the permit for the local car park was there.

"The sinks are to small or you should have the sinks with the tap at the end."
The sofa is cheep and not comfortable and to small No recycling facility’s for the rubbish ?
-
"Nice clean, comfortable flat in the middle of town so therefore close to shops, restaurants, etc."
Brilliant views of the harbour/marina. A bit tight on dishwasher tablets (only 2). Only problem is the parking. The nearest car park which is covered by the parking pass is 15 minutes walk away and there are many suitable car parks a lot closer but they are not covered by the pass.
-
"What a stunning apartment, and wow what a view!"
!!.....perfect week....could just do with a few fans as we had a very warm week x...oh and a cheese grater!!!!!
-
"Idyllic setting."
Absolutely no need to venture more than a mile from the flat. Everything there. Weymouth People so kind and welcoming. Only one caution. Please believe the warning about garage space for small car only. It really does mean small ie a modern mini would be too big. It is not the actual parking space that is the problem it is the access.
-
"Amazing location and just the perfect apartment."
Could not fault one thing, all excellent. Have already recommended to my boss and he has booked this apartment for September!
-
"Excellent position."
Close to beach and harbour with plenty of choices for eating out.
-
"I had a few quibbles mostly regarding the kitchen."
No chopping boards for preparing food. On arrival l would expect the fridge/freezer to already be on to load food into immediately. There was no instruction manual for oven.It wasn’t immediately obvious where switches were to turn on the appliances. On reading information manual it stated in case of fire, a torch was to be found in bedside drawer, there wasn’t one there. In en suite shower there should have been a bath mat and shower non slip mat, these l had to borrow from the other bathroom, not a problem as l was on my own but if both bed rooms had been in use then it would be, as the en-suite shower and floor would have been very slippery. These were small issues which I’m sure could be easily remedied. The apartment was delightful and fitted out to a high standard. It was situated in an ideal central position with easy access to all parts of the town. The service provided by your company was excellent and l wouldn’t hesitate to book through again. Thank you.
