  • "A great location and excellent accommodation."

The kitchen area was well equipped, everything clean and tidy and generally comfortable. There were only the two of us but the apartment could comfortably accommodate two couples or a family of four. We had a slight problem dealing with the key safe on arrival but the local representatives responded rapidly to resolve the problem - that's pretty good service for a Sunday evening! Other than that the only thing to report is that the radiator in the en-suite could not be turned on. A very minor inconvenience which did not impact on a great stay.

  • "We enjoyed our week’s stay at Townbridge House."

The location was convenient for both the town & the harbour & having a balcony was a bonus if a little tight with 2 chairs & a table. Secure parking was a bonus as was the lift. Friday & Saturday nights were very noisy with music & shouting outside until at least 3am - bring earplugs! Although we had a good holiday, we feel there are a few improvements that could be made which would have made our review 5 stars: - very squeaky floorboards - only 2 toilet rolls for a whole week so had to buy more - kettle needed descaling so bought this & descaled it - shower in en-suite bathroom was blocked so we had to buy a drain unblocker - could benefit from dressing table stools in the bedrooms - could benefit from net curtains / voile in bedrooms as was directly across from hotel windows / no privacy - remote controls in both bedrooms did not work / perhaps needed new batteries Overall we would recommend this property & would definitely stay again.

The property it ideally placed for socialising and is perfect for a short holiday. I have sent pictures of the apartment to friends who have all asked me how they can book it in the future. Highly recommend this property and would love to go back again soon.

  • "This is our second year at Harbour-side Penthouse, and we saw the improvement, as soon as we walked in."

The carpets were so much cleaner, the walls have been painted, the apartment smelt cleaner. We was able to use the oven this time. There are still a few things that still need doing, The toilet roll holders need to be put on straight, the shower in the on-suit needs to be cleaned at the bottom where the runners are. The shower over the bath needs the plastic shower seal to be replaced, as when you have a shower it leaks rather badly. Apart from that we had a lovely time, the view and balcony is a big plus, Our granddaughter had her breakfast on the balcony most mornings watching the boats coming and going. If you want good Fish & chips recommend going to Mckenzies, which is across the road from the apartment main front door. We only had one night where my partner was awakened from people leaving the pubs. Brilliant holiday

Great for kids and adults. Secure parking and a lift were great. Just a couple of very minor niggles. The button on the toilet in the en-suite bathroom was loose, but still working. One of the wardrobe doors in the second bedroom was off its hinges. Nothing to spoil our stay

They were white with dust! Comfortable apartment......would be better with sliding doors onto balcony . It was impossible to sit in comfort as you had to keep moving chairs if someone wanted to go inside. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the view!

Thank you. Only one issue is the get in time. Historically we were told the late get in was because of the need to deep clean post Covid. The apartment is not deep cleaned so could it be returned back to a 3pm arrival? We have to get mobility scooters and shop when we arrive and it’s simply too late after our drive. And a mention for the owners please sort out the creaky floors in the bedrooms, hall and main bathroom they really are noisy.

Having stayed here before I found it was needing a bit of 'tlc', carpet needs cleaning, bathroom light switch faulty, small veg knife missing, cracked wine glass, tv remote needed new batteries. We had lovely fresh bedding, and plenty of nice towels. Well equiped kitchen. Bedrooms have good storage and comfortable beds.

Posative things first- amazing view, location, parking, beds and sofas really comfortable. Well furnished, balcony loved that, specially my grandaughter. Showers are great. The negative parts which would made the holiday fabulous and special. Carpets need replacing or Professionally cleaned as dirty. Gripper rods from kitchen floor tiles to carpet need sorting as not nice when trodden on, spikes sticking through. Dirty under recliner, hair on toilet, toilet roll holders need to be putting on straight one pointing upwards and the other downward angle. Toilet brush holder need cleaning . Smart TV advertised is not the sitting room TV but a bedroom TV. Have to move toaster to be able to use. Oven smells like old fryer oil when in use. One of the Freezer draws has a whole in it. Vacuum cleaner when we went to use it, the brush part was full of hair, had to remove this to use. Could only have a shallow bath as runs out of hot water so is lukewarm. Would be good if there was more work top space in kitchen. Ceiling fans in bathroom need cleaning as full of dust, toilet brush dusty. Wall need refreshing up with paint. Some blackout curtains or blind in the beds rooms would be good. Hooks that were stuck to doors which have come off either replace or remove the sticky pads left on doors. Window in double room made a loud noise when opened and felt like it was coming of hinges, so closed and never opened again. These things make a big difference and If sorted out we would rebook. I do have photos if these are need.

The spacious apartment was clean and comfortable, but what makes it so special is it’s position. From the balcony, I loved watching the boats go by and the people enjoying their holiday. It’s the perfect location for the beach, shops and plentiful restaurants. Thank you to the owners for the useful information provided, we used it quite a bit. I really hope we can return again sometime soon.

We have had a good time and found the location of our holiday fabulous. How ever the apartment did not live up to expectations. The code to the door from the garage into the apartment was not listed in the key collection instructions. I did find it on an email. The decor of the apartment is very tired and looks quite tatty in places. There was no WiFi or broadband which was advertised would not have booked if known. The apartment was not clean in areas please see attached photos. The ensuite toilet flush was broken as was the bin in the kitchen. We did not cook in the apartment as prefer to eat out but some of the cooking pans were not clean please see pictures. Found the check in at 1600hrs very inconvenient taking away from first day of our holiday. This is a shame as the apartment is lovely but not to the standard I expected or paid for.

Perfect location and very comfortable but disappointed that necessary maintenance is not done even after we report it and the faults are easily (and cheaply) fixable. The pedal bin still doesn’t operate, the bathroom door handle is still falling off, the bathroom door hinges need oil, cups are stained and some are chipped. This visit we were 4 adults yet only two small toilet rolls are provided which was inadequate. There was only one bath mat for two bathrooms. We noticed that the two single beds had mattress protectors but not the main bed - not sure if this is intentional.

It was a bit noisy in the late evening/night by the people walking on the street, but with the windows clossed that helped a lot. Would advise to add more cutlery and crockery, as that was a bit low and the pan's where to small to cook for 4 persons. At the otherhand it was a good reason to go out and have dinner in the great dining options throughout Weymouth.

It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The parking was an added bonus. Had everything you could need and want for your stay. Two suggestions that would improve the apartment would be darker curtains in the main bedroom and a full length mirror in the hall. Two negatives - all floorboards were very noisy. Felt sorry for the person below us. Some rooms were beginning to look a bit tired and for a "penthouse apartment' are in need of a coat of paint. Instructions were clear and concise on how to gain access to the car park and building.

Only a couple of 'blips' Entry system is a little confusing for a newbie. We helped two other couples staying in the apartments navigate the system. The carpets in the apartment could do with a little livening The fittings in the bathrooms need securing. There is no dish washer so no need to provide tablets. Lots of excess glass wear which leaves you only one small cupboard to put food in. Everything else is a plus. It is in a great location. It is warm and clean. Parking is a real bonus especially I imagine in the warmer months. (just need to make sure the cleaner for other apartments uses the bay they are cleaning. Its not the easiest space to play chess in
