"The property was easy to find and the instructions to enter were easy to follow."
The door has no deadlock key which would be beneficial, the area seemed very safe and quiet but it would be good to have just for peace of mind. The property itself had everything we needed tea and coffee were provided and washing up items. The towels were lovely big and fluffy. The house was clean throughout. A lamp would be nice in the front room. There were 8 of us and as it is a terrace it was a squeeze sitting down in the front room, but as we had teens they didn't stay long. The dining room fitted us all in fine. We were a little concerned about the parking but this was not an issue at all there is a car park very close by and the long stay is less than 5 minutes away the app to use it is very simple too. The house is very central to everything in Weymouth only a few minutes walk to the beach and all the activities. Its in a great location and being on a non vehicular street is quite quiet (seagulls excluded). All in all a great comfortable stay.

"Picardy Cottage itself is lovely."
Close to the station, but down a quiet side street. Comfortable beds with clean bed linen and modern kitchen appliances. I would recommend a stay in the cottage, but I certainly wouldn't recommend booking through Sykes. There is no way at all to contact them to discuss any issues. The only option on the website is a whatsapp number, which is never replied to. This has made me decide not to book with Sykes again.

"Lovely little house, perfectly placed for the beach and the town."
Really clean, everything you would need for a great stay.

"Location for Weymouth - great Cleanliness - not the best, we had to put all cutlery and mugs through the dishwasher."
Wrappers found under sofa etc Sadly the toilet downstairs needs tightening up, some plates were chipped. Bin isn’t big enough for house waste, I got up early and gave some to the rubbish collection people “luckily “ We did enjoy ourselves as a family, nothing to dreadful that stopped us having fun.

"House was lovely and very well equipped."
The street could do with being tidier (I know the owner can't do much about that), there is no general waste bin outside the property so everything was to go in 2 small tubs in the yard which is difficult when 7 people are sharing a property. We had to clean when we arrived as it wasn't very clean at all (again not the owners fault) but definitely sykes problem as this is the 2nd time of staying in 1 of there houses and it not been clean considering the amount of money been paid it should be absolutely spotless. The location was good and close to all amenities without been on top of all the hussle and bussle.

"A really lovely holiday cottage, clean, comfortable, and well maintained."
The location is quiet and well placed for all the local attractions. Our only point for improvement would be the courtyard, which could be lovely with a seating area as it’s a real sun trap.

"Picardy cottage is a lovely house close to all amenities; the shops and restaurants and the beach."
It’s also convenient for public transport. The house has all the home comforts required for a great stay. A couple of things that would make it better would be bath mats and a hairdryer. Other than that it is a well equipped house. The beds are good quality and very comfortable. The biggest problem is the PARKING! It is VERY expensive to park in Weymouth. Parking is the same price in both the short or long stay car parks. We knew it was going to be expensive but it is £15/day! The train station car park, just a five minute walk is just £7.40/day. However, parking permits should be provided by the cottage to be able to park in the streets near the cottage. Please apply to the council for the parking permits! Other than this very expensive parking problem! It was a great cottage of a high standard.

"The only thing I would add is that it would be nice if you could provide a fan for each of the bedrooms as it would help in the extreme heat."
Otherwise we had an excellent stay. Sadly we left my son’s new skateboard but hopefully we can get this back. Thank you
