  • "It is a brilliantly located property for those coming by train and using public transport."

Very close to train station and beach. Despite it looking small from the outside the bedrooms and bathroom are spacious and extremely comfortable. There was really good storage throughout. Lots of clothes hangers. Clean and newly decorated and furnished, so lovely. The living room is quite small for 6 but fine for us 3. You can also use the first floor bedroom for lounging as it had 2 chairs a bed and a tv. The downstairs flooring was very practical for sand and rain! The kitchen was very well equipped but the fridge is very small. Not big enough if you want to stock up for the week for self catering, keep wine/beer cold etc. It wasn’t big enough for us a family of 3. If you do daily food shopping or eat out a lot, it would be ok. Both Friday and Saturday night we were woken at 2 am and kept awake by a loud drunken group returning to house opposite. Suggestions for improvements: Bigger fridge, a couple of big sharp knives (carving and chefs knife), hairdryer, bigger selection of books, some leaflets for local attractions, bus and train timetables. The tourist information at Bridport was a great source of information leaflets. Overall this is a lovely property with a perfect location. A bigger fridge would make it 5star.

  • "A spacious property up together with nice decor, right in the centre but still tucked away down a quiet side road."

Perfect for our family of 4 with two young children. Parking options are close and many so wasn't a concern. The owners are very welcoming and we would definitely consider a return visit.

  • "Perfect place to be!"

Great location, walking distance close to the beach which was perfect for us as we have 3 children. Nice touch with welcome folder, kitchen also had milk and biscuits were left for us too. Looks very small from outside but we were pleasantly surprised. Bedrooms have lots of space and wardrobe space. Comfortable beds to sink into after a long day of exploring with the children. Games available for kids and us to play as a family when relaxing in the evenings. Only thing that let the place down was the was lots of flies in the kitchen area which meant we didn't really use the kitchen as we would have liked for self catering purposes. I cleaned surfaces and got a rid of flies on arrival, when we returned later that evening there were more flies. Kitchen with everything you need but due to the flies everywhere, the kids refused so ate out during our stay. Holiday home was perfect for us a family of 5, the bedrooms were roomy enough for us to be comfortable and not have to worry about bumping into each other. Sitting room big enough for a family of 5 would struggle a little with all adults but perfect for us Lots of fun activities nearby for all ages, great parade of local shops, restaurants and pubs. Local pub on the corner friendly owners. Walking distance to retail park too. Overall a great holiday home, definitely would stay again even with the kitchen flies issue but would great if it was resolved for betterment of the home and health wise too.
