The property

This delightful, mid-century bungalow sits within the coastal village of Jaywick, in the Tendring district of Essex.

Just half a mile from the beach, 21 Crossways provides a traditional interior and a delightful base for couples or a small family looking to break away to this part of South England.

Upon arrival, park up directly outside the property in the off-road parking space and enter via the side door.

Step into the kitchen, where you can conjure up a tasty treat using the electric oven and gas hob, before spending your down time in the sitting room, complete with a sofa.

Step outside and spend a moment in the rear enclosed courtyard, pondering on the day’s events and planning for the next adventure.

As the night rolls in, venture to the double bed to catch up on your rest, whilst the shower room provides a spot to freshen up.

When you’re ready to explore, pack up your sun lotion and towel and head to Jaywick Beach, where you can unwind on the sands and enjoy the sun to the sound of the kids playing and waves crashing on the shore.

There is a bus stop just outside the property and a pub opposite.

For the history buffs of the group, it will be interesting to see the Martello towers along the coastline, whilst if you’re seeking something a little different, head to Hasty’s Adventure Farm where the little ones can enjoy a substantial outdoor play area and a go-karting track.

Head to neighbouring Clacton and visit the Theme Park and Funfairs, whilst Clacton Pier boasts indoor and outdoor attractions throughout.

However you choose to spend your time, return to the delight of 21 Crossways for an evening of relaxation.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £150.
