  • "Hide and Sleep is a welcoming, home from home property, perfect for large families."

There were 9 of us in 3 groups. It is well equipped, although as our stay was over Christmas we had taken extra serving bowls and kitchen equipment, not all of it was needed. The wet room in the annexe is a fabulous addition, but we didn't use it in Winter because the room was chilly, and the shower did not stay hot for long. Laminate flooring through out the downstairs made it easy to move furniture about for the house to function as we needed it to, and easy to keep clean. The large bedrooms were clean and comfortable. For our party twin beds in another room would have been better as the children would have had to share a bed. We provided our own air bed which there was plenty of room for. Providing hanging rails was good. No bulky furniture. There were enough decorations in the house to make it feel festive. A walk to the beach for the adults and our dog was not too far. The children enjoyed their time at the beach and the park, which were a short drive away

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a detailed and thoughtful review of your stay at Hide and Sleep. We're delighted to hear that the property felt like a welcoming home away from home for your family over the Christmas holiday. It’s wonderful to know that you found the space well-equipped and comfortable, especially for a larger group. We're sorry to hear about the issues with the wet room in the annexe and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We di look into this and noticed the oil heater wasn't on in the annex, this could be why it was chilly. I've now installed a smart plug so i can turn it on remotely. regarding the bathroom in the annex, it does have a small water tank, so it’s really only can take quick showers. in the house has a combi water system, so this can be used longer. It’s great to hear that the laminate flooring made things easier during your stay and that you found the bedrooms spacious and comfortable. We will take your suggestion regarding additional twin beds into account as we continue to make improvements, especially for families traveling with children. We're glad there was enough space for your air bed, and we'll also consider ways to further enhance the sleeping arrangements to suit a variety of group sizes. We’re pleased that you appreciated the festive decorations and that your family enjoyed the local beach and park. It’s always our goal to create a memorable and enjoyable stay, and we're grateful for your feedback on both the strengths and areas for improvement. Thank you once again for choosing Hide and Sleep for your holiday. We would love to welcome you back in the future! Property Owner

  • "The house is spacious and comfortable with plenty of room for our family of 10."

Perhaps some more dining chairs and a mirror and lamp in each bedroom could be useful. The games room is an added bonus and was much appreciated by everyone. The location is convenient for Frinton and within walking distance of Walton, Tesco and the local pub. We had a great stay.

Thank you for your valuable feedback! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay and found the house spacious and comfortable for your family. We’ve taken your suggestions on board and we have now adding mirrors and lamps to each bedroom. As for the dining chairs, we want to let you know that additional chairs, as well as a bench, are available in the annex for your convenience. You can also extend the dining table for extra seating, space. We appreciate your comments and hope to welcome you back soon! Kind regards, Tracy Property Owner
