"Bramerton's Nest is an excellent holiday home quietly located in a cul-de-sac off the main road yet within easy walking distance of all Long Melford has to offer."
The accommodation is thoughtfully designed and excellently equipped and maintained. We were staying in mid-winter but the heating system kept us nicely warm. Highly recommended.

Generally an excellent property.
We did mention obtaining a larger parasol for outside table. It is a shame that It is not more secluded and has a better garden area.
Aside from this it is ideal for getting out and about.

"Our holiday property was very clean well equipped and comfortable with top quality furniture etc."
The only problem we had was the electric oven and microwave.
The electric oven was very complicated, my friend and myself both have up to date Neff and Bosch ovens but the oven in the property was so complicated it was difficult to get it working properly. There was only 3 pages of instructions so this did not help.
The microwave was situated on a shelf very low down which made it difficult to access especially for elderly people with limited bending and eyesight not what it was.
We felt this would be better placed on the work surface.
Otherwise we had a lovely holiday with lots of places to visit and the property being on the high street an added bonus.

"Really lovely place."

"This was our 3rd stay in Bramerton's Nest, so that's the clue as to how much we like it there."
The property is really stylish and comfortable, with lovely linen and fluffy towels. It's clear that a great deal of thought went into this property. They are very lucky to have a housekeeper who keeps Bramerton's immaculately clean.
When you arrive there's wine in the fridge and milk. Plus a few little treats.
Along with the house being lovely, it's situation in Long Melford is ideal, having off road parking. We will definitely continue to return to Bramerton's.

The house and garden were just so peaceful and comfortable. It was a real treat to beable to walk to shops and restuarants.
One minor issue you didnt tell us in the instrutions that we needed to request the use of the car charger . All sorted quickly once we requested it.

The house is very modern and comfortable, being beautifully decorated with quality furnishings. The cooling system was very much appreciated during the hot weather. Would definitely recommend this 5 star accommodation as a base for touring beautiful Suffolk and neighbouring counties.

In a fantastic location in central long Melford… idea for 4. Beautiful concrete finished shower and kitchen with top of the range cooker, dishwasher etc. would recommend particularly to maybe two couples wanting a peaceful gastronomic location as great restaurants in the village.

"This holiday home is wonderful."
If you choose, you can leave your car throughout your stay.( Local transport at the top of the road! ) the house is clean, warm,and has all the contents needed for self catering if required.
We have been going on short breaks in this country for over 25 years, this was definitely one of the best!!

"Bramerton's Nest is a very apt description of this lovely holiday cottage."
It is tucked away down a private driveway despite being in the middle of the busy Long Melford Traffic. It is quite with bird song the only interruption. The cottage is well-appointed with state of the art appliances. The décor is as peaceful as the environment. The beds were comfortable with the only criticism being the hardness of the pillows (I prefer softer). The property owner was there to greet and check everything was fine and also bid us farewell at the end. I can highly recommend this lovely little nest!

A grey wooden house with contemporary amenities, settled into the quaint countryside village of Long Melford, Bramertons Nest is ideal for two couples looking to explore the countryside of Suffolk.
Park off-road, making use of the EV charging port, and unpack with ease, marvelling at the picturesque wooden exterior of this property.
Once inside, make yourself at home in the open-plan living area where paintings add a splash of colour throughout the living space, and a selection of stylish sofas encourage you to recline with a cup of tea as you plan the day ahead of you.
The tasteful décor continues into a kitchen with white furniture and a variety of amenities to make cooing together fun and convenience, and why not enjoy your meal at the dining table or have a games night?

Long Melford is a former medieval wool town, and is known as the 'Antique Capital of Suffolk', with a wealth of antique shops, art galleries, tea rooms, restaurants and independent shops, found down the wide tree-lined main street. The village also has the National Trust property Melford Hall, which is unchanged since 1578, and a magnificent 15th Century church which sits on top of the hill at one end of the village. On the outskirts is Kentwell Hall, which has authentic re-creations of everyday life in Tudor or World War II times. The chocolate-box picturesque village of Lavenham is just 5 miles, and Sudbury is 3.5 miles, which makes this village an ideal location to explore Constable Country.
