  • "After taking 12 hours to get to Riverbank house it certainly did not disappoint it is a beautiful home very clean and in a lovely location, it is very comfortable especially at night when you have the log burner on."

    It’s lovely and cosy. There is also a hot tub and in the mornings you often see the deer standing by the gate waiting for you to feed them. It is absolutely magical. The stag room is a lovely room to either sit reading a book or just looking out of the window at the birds or deer’s , our trips were Isle of Skye , Mallaig Ullapool Glencoe on the cable car ( The scenery was amazing . )We walked up old man of storr , and went to the Ben Nevis range .& Glenfinnan viaduct which was brilliant. Our last trip was Eilean Donnan Castle. We had such an amazing time in Scotland and our stay in riverbank house we will certainly be booking up again next year .

    Thankyou for sharing your beautiful home. House was very clean and in a lovely location. Went through over 10kg of carrots feeding the local deer who arrived at the back gate dusk and dawn. There are 2 pubs who serve food less than 5 mins walk and plenty of walks from the house. Great location for exploring the beautiful Highlands. Can't fault in any way!!

House was very well equipped and very clean. We would certainly go back if we holiday in this area again. The owner was also very approachable and helpful. Excellent.

  • "This holiday home is really wonderful."

    Very comfortable and well equipped. The location is fantastic, plenty of lovely walks to do, right from your doorstep. Deer visit daily and love a carrot or some apple. The hot tub is a lovely bonus, we were watching shooting stars at night, very romantic. The lodge owner is very friendly and helpful. I'm sure if you needed anything, they would be able to help. Plenty of books and DVDs at the lodge, so you wouldn't need to bring much. Even a pair of binoculars to spot the deer in the 'deer room'. A great big TV in the lounge, sky TV, free WIFI, a wood burning stove for chilly nights. All the items you could ever need in the kitchen. We had the most wonderful stay, we most definitely will return to this lodge for another holiday. One of the best we have ever stayed in, if not the best. Thank you very much for providing this most fantastic holiday home with so many home comforts, too many to list. We highly recommend!

    Correspondence with owner was excellent. The house has everything you need and the hot tub is a great size. Beds were very comfortable and rooms are very spacious. We had trips to Oban, Fort William, Fort Augustus and Glencoe and saw some breathtaking scenery, we also had a visit to Morar beach which was beautiful, white sand and clear water. Would definitely recommend staying here.

    We honestly couldn’t recommend it enough, the local stag with three legs is a little gem. ( we named it stumpy) loves carrots & apples. Having the hot tub with the sunshine we had that week was 10stars. It’s so cosy with the log fire on in the evenings. ROY BRIDGE

Fort William 11.5 miles; Inverness 58 miles;

Roy Bridge which in Gaelic is Drochaid Ruaidh meaning "the bridge over the Roy" is a small friendly highland village situated some 3 miles east of the bigger village of Spean Bridge in the Scottish Highlands. There is a craft shop, cafe and two hotels where good service, good food and good cask ales are assured. The larger village of Spean Bridge has a well stocked village shop, woollen mill and several cafes and restaurants. Close by is the famous Commando Memorial which stands some 17ft high, and comprises a group of three bronze Commandos dressed in typical World War Two uniforms.
