"We loved our short stay at Glen Pean - it was the perfect setting for our trip ..."
We loved our short stay at Glen Pean - it was the perfect setting for our trip on The Jacobite Express and an added extra treat was the proximity to Neptune’s staircase Clean, comfortable accommodation and the owners were very helpful when required Would definitely visit again

"Lovely quiet and comfortable place to stay, good access to local areas"
-
"Very poor level of cleanliness that the owner would not admit to."
We only stayed one night out of four as we were so shocked by the state of the lodge and unkempt outside area. Layer of dust throughout, unclean fridge, cooker and toaster. Towels that I would not even use on my dogs. Light switch in the bedroom had pieces of wool as pull cords. The beds in the the twin room were not made up and the bedding in the double room was shabby and dated. Cobwebs in the kitchen windows. The owner would not resolve any issues despite us contacting them as soon as we made the decision to find somewhere also to stay.

"The house is crawling with spiders, we killed 2 dozen and the man next door helped with the high ones"
-
"Fantastic. lovely cottage has everything you need Close to so many attractions ."

-
"Amazing stay."
So welcoming nothing was a hassel. Loved it
-
"Everything great but the wifi didn't work in the living room and was patchy in the dining room and bedroom."
-
"There were a few cobwebs around, but I am a professional cleaner."
There were no instructions on how to use some of the equipment in the chalet. Would have been nice to have a dustpan and brush to tidy up and the hoover didn't work. Front door didn't lock from inside and was difficult to lock from outside.

"This was an important short break for us before my husband had major surgery and we can’t thank Jennifer and Paul enough for all they did for us!"
! Nothing was too much trouble and we had a super time there!! We’ll be back under better circumstances in the future!!
-

"Cottage was as described on the website and in a lovely, quiet location."
Well located for getting to various places of interest. The owner's pet dogs, cat and chickens kept the kids very happy! The owners Jennifer and Paul were so helpful. There was an issue with the oven (as can so often happen in holiday accommodation), but they went above and beyond to help us, which we really appreciated. I always think its a true test of a business how an issue is handled and they certainly gave us 5 star customer service! We would definitely return.

"Lovely quiet location close to the outdoor capital Fort William."
Very well furnished, cosy clean and comfortable.
-
"Cottage was comfortable enough, beds and bedding good."
It served its purpose as a 2 star accommodation. With an extra few cobwebs. Outside was all a bit neglected. The owners chickens wandering around outside was nice to see while eating breakfast but not necessarily the dogs pooing! To sum it up, a comfortable no frills accommodation at a lower cost for fort William.

"Lovely cottage and surroundings, hosts were welcoming and had a few lovely animals running around the property which added to the atmosphere."
We had a great stay!
-

"Glen pean is in an ideal position to explore Ben Nevis."
The glen nevis is a wonderful area to explore. The cottage is very cosy and has everything needed for a great holiday. Jennifer is very friendly and helpful. Always on hand if you need anything. The animals are quite amusing too. We will be back. And if glen pean is available we will book again. Thank you.

"Every thing was spot on except the rain"

"We had a wonderful week here in spectacular surroundings."
The drive from Glasgow airport was spectacular. The cottage is ideally located to visit Fort William, Glencoe, Glenfinnan and Oban. There are no restaurants that you can walk to really. The nearest pub, The Lochy is a cosy pub but the food is not that good. Best drive into Fort William where you have more choice. The only downside to Glen Phean is that they don't have WiFi. The owner, Jennifer, was kind and helpful.

"Had a very enjoyable stay at Rowanlea, holiday home was very clean and comfortable, far better than i was expecting, area was beautiful, the only negative i can mention is that i couldnot lock the door from inside, had to lock from outside, then enter through patio door and lock that behind me at night, owner Jen was very nice and helpful!"
All in all a great stay!

"Glen Pean is roomy and comfortable in a quiet corner of a quiet village."
Lots of safe space outside for kids to play. And a great base for day trips out. We had a very friendly welcome from Jennifer who looks after it.

"Great location, lovely friendly people."
-
"Very comfortable, everything we needed, owner very helpful."

-
"We loved this place."
very friendly owners and so helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to return here.
-
"The Owners were extremely friendly and helpful."
The animals (Horses, pigs, chickens, dogs and ducks) should be mentioned as my wife was extremely happy to meet them and they definitely added to the holiday. We stayed here so we could conquer Ben Nevis and this cottage is absolutely perfect for this. Fort William is a lovely location with so much to see and do, be it the Jacobite (Harry Potter) train or a boat ride round the loch. We definitely recommend this Cottage and would like to thank the Owners for welcoming us.
