• "We just loved Primrose Spinney from the moment we walked in."

  Set in such a beautiful part of the forest with lots to explore. The garden is beautiful and we just loved watching all the numerous types of birds on the feeders. The house was so well equipped especially the kitchen. Beautiful crockery. I have actually purchased a couple of items after using them in the Spinney kitchen. Loved the huge cooker too. Beds were very comfy, lovely bedding and towels. The owners share their home and contents including some stunning Tiffany lamps which really make it feel home from home. We will definitely be returning!

• "We had a truly wonderful family stay at Primrose Spinney last month and would highly recommend to anyone!"

  The location was absolutely perfect - backing onto the common, with tracks and paths perfect for explorers of all ages. It was a real treat to have a view of the ponies and deer wandering by from bed! Thank you so much for the thoughtful touches, they made our family celebration even more special.

• "This holiday home is absolutely wonderful."

  It is our second visit and it won't be our last. It is such a beautiful place we didn't want to leave. It is perfectly situated within the forest with easy access via car to the surrounding villages. The kitchen is incredible, so well stocked with every utensil and appliance you could wish for, better than our kitchen at home! Alison our host was so helpful, and the delicious homemade cake that was there when we arrived was much appreciated. We cannot wait to come back and visit.

• "We had the most perfect stay at this beautiful house."

  Alison was so kind and left us a wonderful welcome surprise including a delicious apple cake. The house was perfect in every way, spotlessly clean, cosy and so well equipped and the beds were so comfortable. I celebrated my 60th with my family and I couldn’t have found a better place and the location was beautiful being with nature. We cannot wait to return.

  It is a wonderful house, very well equipped, and could not be more convenient for dog walking in the forest. There are miles of walks literally from the garden gate. We saw wildlife every day. Thanks so much.

• "Primrose spinney was everything we expected."

  From the warm welcome from Alison the lovely apple cake to start our week. Wonderful walks in the forest on the doorstep and the abundance of wildlife, birds at the feeders all of the time, on the days weather allowed us to sit outside it was wonderful, but on the wet days comfy inside. The cottage well equipped and very comfortable

• "Excellent holiday cottage."

  Welcoming, clean, comfortable, children and dog friendly. We really enjoyed our week at Primrose Spinney, the facilities are excellent and the owner goes the extra mile to welcome you. The children and dogs loved playing in the garden and exploring the New Forest from the door. We definitely hope to return.

• "Property was very clean and welcoming, it had everything we needed and more."

  The gardens were perfect for an energetic 4 year old to run around and was safe. Ideally situated a step away from the common and with easy access to all areas of interest. It’s a great cottage for a family break and would highly recommend.

• "Primrose Spinney was an amazing holiday home suitable for a large family."

  We were looking for accommodation that was secluded within the New Forest but not to far away from all the attractions and Primrose Spinney met all these expectations. The house had all the amenities you needed. The rooms were spacious comfortable and clean A really peaceful relaxing environment in a natural setting ideal to see a huge range of birds, deer and horses. • "The six mums from Wiltshire loved every minute of their stay."

  The owners had thought of everything we could possibly need, never been anywhere so well equipped. The cottage is in the most beautiful position and we were so lucky to have sunny days. Watching the birds on the bird table was a treat, I’ve never seen a greater spotted woodpecker that close.

• "Primrose Spinney is a lovely excellently equipped house in stunning countryside."

  We loved being able to go out of the gate straight into the National Park where we saw deer and ponies and heard cuckoos and owls. There was so many personal touches that made it feel homely such as the homemade cake, local eggs, bird watching book by the window overlooking the garden and the photos of families who previously lived in the house. It was the perfect place to stay for our party of 6 adults, 2 toddlers and a dog.

• "Primrose Spinney is a gorgeous house in beautiful surroundings with a gate straight out into the New Forest."

  The house itself was perfect for our party of 6 adults, 2 older children and 2 dogs, loads of room and definitely the best equipped kitchen we have ever seen in a holiday stay. Thanks to Alison for great communication and a lovely welcome pack which we all enjoyed. We had everything we needed and the dogs felt very welcome too! The warm hose for them outside was a huge help especially as we didn’t get great weather. A great place to chill out and catch up with friends, felt like home from home. Would love to stay again.

• "Wonderful property, comfortable, fully equipped with everything that you may need at your stay."

  Beautiful forest walks right from the doorstep. The house itself is warm, rooms are comfortable, fittings beautiful, has this feeling of being at home. We absolutely loved our stay, we came from all over the country for a reunion and we hope to come back some time for a longer stay. Thank you Alison for great communication and warm welcome with a basket of goodies. Would recommend this property to anyone who wishes to get away from the city rush and just relax.

• "Wow, Primrose Spinney has everything."

  This is the best property we have stayed in. Spacious, well equipped, beautiful gardens and an ideal location with walks straight out the gate. I don’t think we walked the same route all week. The 2 border collies loved the warm shower hose what a great idea! Great communication from Alison with us being able to arrive earlier than expected. The Prosecco, cake, milk and snacks were enjoyed by all so thoughtful. We cannot rate this property highly enough, we will definitely book again for a family reunion x

• "A different property from the usual on four levels, which worked out very well for us, set in large, secure, grounds suitable for children & dogs."
