Absolutely perfect lodge, clean tidy very modern, easy parking, lovely views i really enjoyed the hot tub, shower very good, i really enjoyed our stay and would recommend you to anyone, the only things that weren’t perfect, was the daddy longlegs , i don’t think the green light above the doors worked, needed a small window in the bedrooms , it got a bit stuffy at night, i did open glass door, which helped then all the daddy longlegs came in , the main bedroom doors ( fire doors ) a bit heavy, and needed oven gloves, and apart from the wet weather, you have a lovely small collection of lodges perfectly placed, best holiday I’ve had in years pity my mother in law had to come with us, and a thank you to Mel for returning my calls and being so helpful, Malcolm akhurst

"We all loved the eco lodge with hot tub."
The setting is peaceful and beautifully maintained. There is public transport to Ryde and to Shanklin just outside the mermaid distillery which is really handy. The pub is also friendly and serves a limited menu but the food is good. The lodge itself is well stocked with everything that is needed for a comfortable stay. All the appliances in the kitchen worked. Bathroom clean and a lovely shower. Beds were comfortable and fans provided in all rooms as there was no windows to open and they did get a little hot during the night. There were a couple of issues, lamp not working and hooks no longer secure to the wall, that had not been reported by previous guests but Mel was easily contactable and offered to send maintenance around, however we chose to leave the issues to be resolved once we left. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and would highly recommend the eco lodges as a perfect base to stay for exploring the Isle of Wight.

"We loved every minute of our stay , What a wonderful experience and so clean comfortable, we would really appreciate if you could share the name of the mattresses you use so comfortable."
And getting to the places we wanted to visit, was so easy. The only disappointment was because I have mobility difficulties I couldn’t get to have a dip in the hot tub ,it looked so inviting. We will be back and that’s for sure. Regards Mrs Jean Morris.

"Lovely lodge well equipped the only things we would of liked were a side table in lounge to put cups on as we had to put them on the floor."
Also a hairdryer. The lodge doesn't have any windows to open at night in the bedrooms, it was so hot the fan was too load to have on at night.

"Lovely clean and comfortable place to stay the location is ideal for visiting around the island, the hot tub was an excellent addition and we enjoyed using it and having the mermaid Gin distillery at the bottom of the car park was ideal as the food in there was good and we visited for a few evening meals."
The only small criticism we had was we had a disabled person in our group we picked this property as it was on one level and had a ramp outside which was perfect for him. But we had to park the car in the bottom Car park as we sadly didn’t have a chalet with a parking space outside which meant he had to get his scooter across the gravel path which was difficult and then there was a little kerb to get to the property. But apart from that I would highly recommend this chalet as it was perfect for our family holiday

"Property was absolutely lovely, really comfortable, quiet location."
Well maintained has everything you need, plenty of crockery and cutlery. A pizza cutter wouldn't go a miss, about the only thing we didn't have. Little green lights in the bedrooms we had to cover up as they really light up the room at night and were preventing us from sleeping. If you wanted to make any kind of improvements I'd suggest a parking space at each pod. You could also put some board games, playing cards and books in each pod just little things that make it even better than it already is. Had a lovely 14 days would definitely use again. They are really very nice places to stay.

"We loved our Champagne house\pod."
It was clean, light, airy, comfortable. In short it was perfect. For my parents the fact it was all on one level was great. We all enjoyed the open plan layout and the outdoor private space that was beautifully maintained. The location was wonderful, close to the beach and great walks so we didn't have to drive every day. We tried the hot tub and it was a lot of fun. We all want to come back next year with more of the family. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it and already have. Thank you so much we had a special holiday.

"We were one of the first people to stay here and would highly recommend it."
We had the 3 bedroom lodge and even with 5 people it felt spacious. It had everything we needed and everything felt of a high quality: beds, hot tub, kitchen equipment, tv. There was good wifi. The welcome was good with clear communication from the person overseeing the rental. Any issues were dealt with swiftly and carefully and our concerns mattered. The site is quiet and beautiful; the pub next to the site does great food and is the IoW Distillery. Shops are a 5 minute drive away. It was a great base to explore the island. We would come back!

About the location
SEAVIEW
Ryde 2.6 miles.
Seaview is a small Edwardian seaside village on the north eastern shores of the Isle of Wight, only a 15 minute drive from the superb transport links of Ryde. Seaview is one of the South of England’s most famous holiday destinations, with a reputation of being an upmarket resort. This lovely seaside resort has stunning views out across the Solent, gorgeous golden sandy beaches, a sailing club, boutique shops and many popular restaurants and pubs, such as The Seaview Hotel and The Old Fort. On the coastal footpath towards Ryde just off Springvale is Puckpool Park, an old Victorian Fortification Battery, now with tennis courts, mini-golf and a children’s play area set within its pretty gardens. In the summer, locals and tourists take part in the famous Seaview Regatta, competing in many traditional activities, with races on the beach at Seagrove Bay, rowing in the village’s own unique boats, tug of war, the greasy pole and diving, all concluded at the end of the week with a magnificent firework display. As well as being a coastal village the nearby countryside at Seaview’s Duver is a nature reserve, with frequent visits from the beautiful red squirrel, as well as having an incredible array of bird life. A wonderful Isle of Wight base.
