  • "There was a barbecue outside, but there was no rack."

So not sure how you are supposed to use it? There was a small hoover in the cupboard, this was blocked and so did not pick up anything. On our stay we did notice that there was a lot of dust behind and under the sofa. There was dust under the beds and on the bedroom walls. It needs a deep clean. The last issue was the fridge starting freezing our food on arrival. Luckily we did not put much in it, otherwise more food would have been wasted.

  • "Everything is provided in this property and so much more."

It is clean, comfy, warm and full of great facilities. It is positioned just a few steps away from the main entertainment square of Sandyballs although in a quiet area. There are plenty of walks around the park and the restruants, shop, pool , launderette and other facilities are there to be enjoyed. Outside of the park you will need a car to reach beaches and nearby towns offering all the wonderful things this area of the UK has to offer. We visited Sandbanks, Bournemouth, Beaulieu, Poole, and Lyndhurst to walk through the New Forest grazing horses. This property is a fantastic place to enjoy the area. Highly recommended and would return again.

  • "We love going to Sandy Balls and have been doing so for 30 years every winter."

We booked this cabin from a private owner rather than from the Sandy Balls site as this was a cheaper way of doing it. The price was good and the property was up to the usual Sandy Balls standard. We bought a pass for the pool and gym and the price for this was also good. This cabin is an ideal location for walking in the New Forest, we walked for many miles in all sorts of weathers and had a great holiday. The cabin was clean and well maintained although there was a lot of dog hair in the carpet which we removed with a bit of cleaning effort. It is well equipped. The only item which did not work very well was the potato peeler which has a loose handle and kept falling apart. The Kona coffee maker provided had a missing handle and was too dangerous to use. The place was warm and comfortable despite the winter weather. Our only criticism is that the cabin is for 4 (to 6) people but there is only a 2 seater sofa and an arm chair so we took it in turns to sit on a hard bench or on the floor. It really does need another soft chair. Happy to recommend this place and we enjoyed our stay. We would be happy to stay there again.

  • "A lovely cosy cabin in an excellent position in the holiday village, very close to all the amenities."

The village itself was very well run and in a good location for exploring the New Forest. The cabin was well maintained and perfect for the three of us. (I think it would have been a bit cramped for 6). The only thing we felt was lacking was some coat hooks to hang our damp coats on, otherwise it was perfect.
