"Great location for the Brecon Beacons."
Perfect for a group of six on a walking trip. The barn is very spacious and well equipped.

"Absolutely delighted with this holiday cottage."
We had such a lovely peaceful time. The amenities were great, particularly for our mum who has disabilities following her stroke. We'd 100% recommend your cottage to out families and friends (in fact already have). Couldn't have asked for a better week away. It was lovely to get to meet you and learn a bit of the background of the cottage. Also, we really appreciated your help getting our car started on the day we left.

"My colleagues stayed three times at the farm in the last few weeks and enjoyed it everytime."
The hosts are very welcoming. Would definitely stay again if we're in the area
Thank you so much for your review. Trying to explain about our quaint, not perfect, but full of character and in a beautiful valley barn - there are no words But we love it and are so glad you appreciated it and looked after it for us Property Owner

"Great sized property and loved that it had 10 single beds."
Hand wash smelt amazing. No instruction on how to use the central heating. The kitchen was a bit tight.
Thank you for your review A comfy bed is always important. You had the added choice of singles or super kings The radiators are on all winter, this year has been very different weather wise and trying to set the temperature to everyone’s liking is not always easy, especially when it takes the underfloor heating 24 hours to catch up- I will update the handbook. The hand wash Sandalwood and black pepper!! is a new one we love it, it is also kind to your skin and can be used as a shampoo! I did try the hand and body lotion, but not enough was used. What on earth were you trying to do in the kitchen!! There is a huge table in the dining area, or an even bigger one outside to sit around ‘Too many cooks spoil the broth’ We have lots of family get togethers at the barn- inside but especially outside. "We had a lovely three night break."
The farmhouse is spacious and ideal for a family gathering. The garden is large and the children had plenty of space to play in a safe envionment.Abergavenny is only a short drive away and we enjoyed a visit to Talybont and the cabal and also Talybont reservoir. The owners were very helpful.
Thank you for your lovely review, and looking after our barn My in-laws who live in the bungalow, have lived in the area all their lives and are full of brilliant local information. You sound like you used the barn to explore the area. Property Owner

"Fantastic sociable space for eating and relaxing."
Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. Wonderfully warm with underfloor heating downstairs which was really welcome after a rainy walk. Great access to Crickhowell, Abergavenny and the hills all around. The owners were very helpful and happy to make all the beds into singles for our group of nine friends. Very pretty garden and space for outside eating. The only things to improve: the downstairs shower didn't drain very quickly so water collected. Others said that hot water ran out quite quickly too. But we had a great stay and would definitely recommend the barn.

"Lovely and warm when we arrived ."
The downstairs toilet you had to pump 3 times to get it to flush. The main oven took a while to get it to work as no instructions left out we finally found them in the cupboard with the bins. The floor was dirty and crisps toys and other rubbish under the chairs quite visible . The main table was dirty as well as the mats some of them needed to be binned. The windows were full of handmarks. The beds were very comfortable but when we removed the pillowcase some of the pillows were badly stained and in need of a wash .
Wow what can i say! We are delighted the barn was warm, the beds were comfortable and the cooker eventually worked. It is a shame when the agents phoned you on Saturday morning that you did not mention the crumbs and food debris on the floor, or the toilet it has been looked at several times, we had been told visitors were a little heavy handed , the plumber has been phoned and we are awaiting a spare part. Your list of queries, re our holiday home The pillows are on order some new eco ones to replace the unwashable feather ones, they do have a clean protector on as do the beds. The mats I am sad you do not like them, a local lady made them. The crumbs I have sent your review to the cleaning team, the toys we are still searching for and have and asked the cleaning team to clarify,. Is is hard not to touch the clock or buttons on oven, whilst cleaning although they will switch off on plug for safety, which is why i think the timer appears, I will add a note to the list of housekeeping re cooker. The windows are cleaned once a month, but it has been weather dependent and we have had a lot of rain, why do people big and small have to kiss windows We hope you eventually find your perfect holiday home. "Very comfortable home in rural location."
We stayed here over the Christmas week and it was very nice that the owner organised both a Christmas tree and decorations. We were impressed with nearby Abergavenny which is a country town that has retained lots of its character and has a good range of shops and restaurants. Excellent location for walking the surrounding region. We hope to stay here again.

"We had the most magical week at the barn, everything was there that we needed, it was very relaxing and the views were exquisite."
If you want peace and quiet it’s the place to be, wish there were more footpaths nearby.
-
"A great place to accommodate a large group."
Wish we were able to stay longer so that we could make the most of the beautiful outside area with bbq. Peaceful place and loads of birdsong. The shower in the en suite could certainly do with an upgrade, but aside from that minor point, our group really loved it

"We had a really great time in this spacious, spotless and comfortable house."
The beds were extremely comfortable, the sofas perfect to relax on in front of the TV after a long day walking in the beautiful surroundings and the kitchen was well stocked with appropriate levels of crockery and cooking utensils. The TV reception was a tad intermittent probably due to the surrounding mountains but we managed to deal with it. All in all a great place to stay and we will definitely be returning. Our only suggestion is that the house folder of information was a bit sparse on appliances and how they worked but otherwise perfect

"This beautiful house was perfect for our winter family get together."
The whole house was spacious and comfortable especially the beds and the house was lovely and warm. The kitchen was very well equipped. The children loved seeing the horses in the neighbouring barn and fields.

"The house is kept to a very high standard, it was clean and tidy throughout."
The bedrooms are very comfortable and there is easily space for eight adults plus small children. The kitchen is well stocked and the large oven and fridge are great when catering for large groups. We found everything we needed for our Christmas holiday and felt very welcome.
