"Beautiful cottage and extremely well equipped with pretty much everything we needed to cater for ourselves."
We were made very welcome by the owners, lovely countryside to walk our dog (who had a great time) and in our opinion Fern hall Cottage is the best place we have ever stayed to date.
If you like peace and quiet, no light pollution, and a farm environment we definitely recommend it…absolutely wonderful.

"Although not close to a Pub, the cottage & setting makes up."
Charming Farm Cottage with Wonderful views.
Cottage is very lovely, good layout & very comfortable.
Great outside, our dog loved it.
Plenty of lovely places to visit within 10-25 miles (although the roads are generally ‘A’ roads).
Kington is the closest town. Several Pubs (recommend The Swan & The Burton for Drinking, Food & Ambience).
The owners who live next door are helpful, friendly & delightful.
Highly recommend this Cottage for a getaway, we have come away very happy with our stay. Will certainly revisit (book) when we come back to this area.

"A very warm welcome from the owners and their 3 wriggly friendly dogs."
It's a working farm and the access to the cottage is through the farmyard which is extremely clean and free from any obstruction.
The cottage is very clean, comfortable and well appointed and there are wonderful views from the garden and the upstairs windows.
The villages and towns in the area are very pretty, and there are good road links to Hereford and Worcester as well as to Wales.
We loved our stay and went home reluctantly but refreshed and are already considering when we can stay there again.

"Nicci and Nik were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome when we arrived and throughout our stay."
Their dogs, Bel and Molly, were lovely and greeted us like old friends every time we met them.
The cottage and its' garden was perfect for some much needed R&R for us and our dog and we thoroughly enjoyed the walks around, and from, the farm.
We would highly recommend this cottage.

"Fernhall Cottage was perfect for our visit, offering the peace and quiet we desperately needed."
The accommodation was cosy and very well-appointed. We made great use of the many informational pamphlets available, particularly to explore local (and not-so-local) footpaths and trails. Nick and Nicki (and their dogs) were the perfect hosts, offering a warm, friendly welcome and providing enough information without imposing on our privacy. We loved the little touches that would help welcome guests, like providing towels to dry off wet dogs. The kitchen was well-stocked with utensils so we could cook breakfast and other meals. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we have no negative comments whatsoever. Thank you for a lovely stay!!!

"Fern Hall Cottage is lovely, cozy and comfy."
Perfect for a relaxing get away. The cottage is on a working farm and so down a remote farm track, which is handy to know if you only have a small car. The roads/hills around the Wye valley are steep in places - there was lots of rain when we visited but our standard car did us proud. The cottage has everything you need and the hosts are nearby - the views are stunning and the garden perfect. A very enjoyable stay, thank you!

"The best cottage we have rented."
Beautifully presented with everything we needed. The cottage was warm and immaculately clean and in the most stunning setting . Nick and Nicci could not have been more welcoming. We were not bothered by the limited WiFi as it was clearly stated in the particulars we received when booking - our phones had a perfectly reasonable signal. The rural setting is idyllic and we had some excellent walks and there are plenty of things to do only a short drive away. We hope to go back!

"Beautiful cottage in a stunning location."
Real attention to detail in the interiors, and fresh homemade cake when we arrived. The hosts are so friendly and my daughters loved being able to feed the chickens and lambs. The garden is lovely, well fenced and perfect when travelling with a dog.
It is a working farm, with lots to see and do around the farm, even before venturing into the beautiful surroundings of the Wye Valley. In a rural location, but only 15-20mins from Hay on Wye and other historic villages.

"The cottage is ancient and medieval in origin but has been furnished and updated and decorated extremely well to make for a very comfortable stay for up to four."
It also has a beautiful garden for sitting in and eating outdoors. Being on a working farm in the depths of the country it is really relaxing and our hosts could not have been more pleasant, welcoming and helpful. We had a great week.

We had cake waiting for us upon arrival and we even managed to charge our electric car at the farm which made our stay even more perfect! Location is wonderful, relaxing... everything you can expect from the countryside. Really close to Hay-on-Wye too. Highly recommend it!

"A gem of a place in the most beautiful tranquil environments."
If peace and quiet is what is needed (which it was) then this is the place. A home from home and with all the touches of quality and comfort to make the stay memorable. The hosts Nick and Nicci were warm and welcoming. Nothing was a problem for them and they are lovely genuine people. Their dogs are delightful and ours loved playing with them. The other person who deserves praise is the lovely lady who made our booking. I apologise but have forgotten her name, but she was superb. We booked on Thursday morning for the Friday and bank holiday weekend. Other companies could barely be bothered with my enquiry but this lady was excellent and understanding how stressed out I was she went above and beyond. She managed to act quickly to secure this brilliant accommodation. Special thanks to her - it did the trick!

"We had a wonderful week in Herefordshire staying at Fern Hall."
The cottage is well-appointed, warm (it was a cold weather week in early June!) and cosy place to stay. We felt very much at home. The living room is big with comfy sofas; the double bedroom is large and the second bedroom has two small doubles. The whole place is beamed and atmospheric. The garden is a lovely space and had gorgeous views.
The cottage is a little more distant to Hay-on-Wye than we anticipated but once we were familiar with our surroundings, it was fine. After Hay, we spent the rest of the week discovering new places in Herefordshire and in Wales too and had a fantastic holiday.
Thank you to Nick and Nicci for a lovely time. And the dogs for getting me to play football with them every day.

"Lovely old cottage in a very quiet location with only the sound of birds sheep and the farm cockerel."
Mr and Mrs Lloyd were very nice and the farm dog had us well trained in throwing his ball which he promptly brought back for us to throw again and again Cottage had everything we needed with a nice secluded rear garden which was lovely in the very nice weather we had on our week in May. also tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean with a great big clock in the lounge which made sure we did not lose track of time. Lovely location being not too far from Kington which is good for the butchers greengrocers and the co-op supermarket and a very good Chinese take away which was handy for the first night and just down the road we could hop over the border into Wales.

"Not having a phone contact number was annoying as finding the cottage proved troublesome and there was no way we could contact the owners."
Asked for details from your office but none forthcoming. Doubly annoying as owners had to contact us when we were considerably later than we had planned - inconvenient for us and them
Maybe an anomoly in your booking system but needs sorting out for the future
Otherwise a good week and a lovely place to stay even though weather was a challenge
