"We enjoyed our stay at Nash Cottage the cottage has everything you need."
We were warm and cosy and the log burner was great. The bed was really comfortable and the conservatory was a bonus. Ideal location to visit so many places.. Hay on Wye, Brecon, Hereford, Ludlow and many more..... needed more than a week! We hope to return in the new year.
Anne, it was lovely to meet you both , I know you enjoyed your stay and yes there is a lot to do and see in the area without going to the seaside.Have a super Christmas and we look forward to seeing you next year. C&K. Property Owner

Courtney, Kate and the family were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The cottage was exceptionally clean, cosy and warm. It was lovely to relax and enjoy the beautiful garden. A big thankyou for making our stay such an enjoyable experience, we have taken home some wonderful memories.
Thank you BOTH for the card, flowers, beer, chocolate's etc. It really was a joy meeting you and all the family. Yes, we had fun too and that’s what holidays are about. When you’re in the area again just pop in we’ll be here. C &K. x Property Owner

"The cottage is lovely and has everything you need for a comfortable stay."
The owners are very friendly, accommodating and make you feel welcome. The only suggestion is a sizeable comfortable rug for dog (s) to sleep on in the kitchen as the downstairs is all tiled, cold and hard for a dog to lay on for some time. It is well placed to be able to visit local attractions, neighbouring towns and counties. The Angel Pub is nice and convenient only being a 5 minute walk. A lovely and peaceful stay. Thank you.
Melanie. Thank you for your kind comments ,we are glad you had such a great time . There is indeed a lot to do in the area . The stone flooring does help to keep the cottage cooler in the summertime and as the temperature drops the underfloor heating works well. Sorry the large rug which the dining table sits on did not suit . We could so easily have provided extra on request . We loved having you stay . Thank you so much for leaving the cottage as you found it .Do come again and we will be ready for you .Best wishes C&K Property Owner

"Lovely traditional style cottage joined to owners cottage but with own secure sunny garden area with furniture and bbq."
Large kitchen with everything you would need and more . Cozy living room with smart tv already loaded with netflix free view bbc player and itv player lovely log burner but also central heating if needed . Very comfortable king size bed in main bedroom which is only one we used but 2 other bedrooms one with 2 single beds and one with 1 cabin style bed . Great upstairs bathroom and toilet and downstairs off the conservatory there is a fantastic wet room and toilet. The owners have thought of everything you would need and information booklets and labels on everything you might need to use . Although attached to main house the owners are not at all intrusive but are there if you need any help or info on surrounding areas . There is off road parking for 1 vehicle and up few steps there is its own garden entrance so you are not disturbing owners . The village is a lovely traditional English village with couple of pubs that serve food and the Angel is dog friendly and has great menu and atmosphere and is in great location opposite village green . We never used the corners inn as dogs only allowed outside but looks lovely . There is also a small shop next door to the angel that also has cafe and tea room . Really enjoyable stay and thank you Katie,Courtney and Arthur for a fantastic holiday.
It’s weeks and guests like yourself that really make the effort worthwhile, thank you both. So pleased you had such a wonderful week . We Very much enjoyed meeting you , continue to have a lovely summer and next year come in time for the village dog show . Best wishes. C & K Property Owner

"A brilliant little cottage with perfect host."
This was a repeat visit and this time was as good as the first last year. The location is ideal for exploring the sites of Herefordshire and neighbouring counties. Off road parking is a bonus and Kingsland has two welcoming pubs. Both have decent menus. Having said that, the cottage is well equipped to support those that prefer to stay in. It is immaculately clean and comfortable. It is dog friendly and the gardens are secure. Only 3 miles to a supermarket for all your supplies. We love it and will book again. We will book again.
It’s like meeting up with old friends. It’s a joy for us too. You are great company and we will see you again on lifes journey. Thank you Both and for leaving the cottage as you found it too . Keep Baking . C&K. Property Owner

"This was our 2nd visit to Nash Cottage."
There is plenty of room for our two large dogs and they get on well with Florence who is the owners dog that lives next door. There are plenty of Beautiful Gardens and Historic Houses and Towns nearby to visit and also lots of dog friendly cafe’s etc. If you are an Angler then Nash Cottage is perfect for you as it has a safe, secure lockable shed to store your fishing tackle in. There are plenty of rivers and lakes nearby to fish, including the Beautiful Rivers Wye & Severn and also lake complexes such as Docklow Pools, which is only 15-20 Minutes away. The Owners Courtney and Katie are excellent hosts and always go the extra mile to ensure you have everything you need for a comfortable stay. This really is a Jewel of a cottage to stay.
Thank you both. It was a lovely week and the village dog show was the icing on the cake . It’s so easy and such fun when our guests are as wonderful as you. Can’t fault how you left the cottage too . We had a brilliant time. Take care and look forward to seeing you again . C.&K. x Property Owner

"Nash Cottage is a lovely little property in an attractive Herefordshire village with two pubs and a village shop and post office."
The cottage itself was spotlessly clean when we arrived and on the second day the owner called on us to check that everything was ok. Our dogs were happy there too and enjoyed their walks in and around the village. My only criticism is, I think, aimed at Sykes rather than the owners of the cottage. In every previous holiday property we have rented there has been a visitors' book where previous tenants had entered their experiences and preferences for tourist sites, restaurants, pubs, nearby towns etc. We always found these helpful. But at Nash Cottage there was just a small notebook for entering adverse comments about the property. I was not surprised to see that this was empty. Perhaps you at Sykes Holidays could look into this.
Thank you for your fair and valid comments , we will put a visitor’s book in the cottage and hope it gets used and is of help to future guests. Best wishes Property Owner

"Courtney and Katie were great hosts."
Lovely homely, comfortable cottage situated in a beautiful area. Wonderfully quiet and peaceful. A mix of modern living and period features make Nash Cottage a great place to stay. Thank you . It’s was a pleasure to meet you and your grandson . Yes, there is lots to do Around here for all ages . Would be very pleased to see you again . Best wishes to you all . Property Owner

"Nash Cottage was absolutely perfect!"
It was spotlessly clean and everything was provided - over and above any property we've stayed in before. A real home from home. It's in a beautiful location and Kingsland is a gorgeous village, with two great pubs and a very well stocked Post Office for supplies - inc. baked goods - and breakfast, lunches and teas, etc. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending a visit. Nash Cottage is an absolute gem and I can't wait to return.
Bless you, it was a real joy and Thank You for not only leaving the Cottage as you found it but gifts too. We will do something special on your return. Happy Days. X Property Owner

"Nash Cottage was so well equipped, and very comfortable."
It was very easy to find, unlike some cottages we have been to. The owners were most helpful. Biscuits, sachets of coffee and tea, plus a bottle of milk, were waiting on the table. We came with our dog, and the cottage even had a small bin, outside, to put the doggy bags in. There was a file, packed full of information about what to do, and where to go. Information about using the various kitchen equipment was also provided. For my husband and myself, who are not tech savvy, it was essential. Everywhere was clean, spotless, and the bed was perfect, neither too soft or too hard. We slept well, ate well and relaxed. Croft Castle and Berrington Hall were within easy reach, and the grounds were ideal for the dog walk. Croft Castle even has an area in their café, where you can go in with your dog. The surrounding countryside is stunning. Kingsland has a Post Office and shop/café, which proved useful. Newspapers could be bought from a local farm, where we also bought eggs. A visit to the black and white houses of Penbridge, gave us photo opportunities, as did Kington. We will certainly recommend Nash Cottage to anyone keen to see Herefordshire.
Thank you both. It was lovely to finally meet our Very First booking guests and most grateful for leaving the Cottage as you found it bless you. We will take on board your suggestion of putting out a book ‘ Tips from Guests to Guests’. Best Wishes . Property Owner

"Absolutely lovely property with everything we needed."

Also , very much appreciated just how clean and tidy everything was . As I have said before, it really does make a difference ,thank you.It was lovely to see you and enjoyed our little chats . "We had a fabulous time here."
The cottage is lovely and very well maintained. The various welcome gifts were very generous, thank you. The cottage is well placed, we went out every day in shortish drives to local towns including Ludlow (fab!) and Hereford. The village is great with two pubs. We took our dog to the local - the Angel and had a great meal a short walk away. All in all, we had a great week. Thank you.
Thank you guys for leaving the Cottage so clean and tidy. We are so pleased you had such a good week , it’s how it should be. There is no doubt the village pubs ( especially the ‘dog friendly’ Angel ) make for a nice treat. Courtney and Katie. Property Owner

"Lovely clean and comfortable cottage."
Well maintained with all facilities one needs for week away. Good location, plenty to do if a National Trust member or English Heritage member, all outdoors so fair weather mostly required. Dog Friendly for one well behaved dog and situated in a lovely village with countryside walks and one dog friendly pub, The Angel. Host's very helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend and happily would stay again!!

"We arrived late after travelling from a long distance through thunder storms and torrential rain."
Our hosts were so welcoming, incredibly kind and caring and ensured we were settled for the evening. Our first impression was the pretty cottage garden with seating areas. Inside the cottage was immaculately clean. The living room was cosy with a wood burner (for chillier days) and the TV has Netflix. The wifi was strong and never dropped. There was a well equipped and spacious kitchen with a welcome pack. My husband loves to bake and all the utensils he needed were to hand. The bedrooms and bed were very comfortable. A lovely bathroom upstairs and a great shower room downstairs with a rainfall shower. A great location in a picturesque village with a 350 yards walk to two very good gastro pubs. We ate there a few times. Supermarket three miles away. The cottage is an excellent base for exploring Herefordshire and surrounding areas. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts, thank you! We have already booked again for next year.
Pam and Dan have become good friends already , how many owner/hosts get fresh baked bread every morning ? It is weeks and guests like this that Simply renting DONT give you ! Thank you Both. Courtney and Katie Property Owner
