The Cottage is lovely everything you could ask for in a holiday let it was well equipped and comfortable we stayed there with our two dogs and spent most days out visiting family very easy to get to Ludlow,Hereford and the market town of Leominster which is worth a visit the only thing we found a little annoying was we weren’t able to exercise the dogs in the five acre field as advertised before we went out each day but there was a small fenced area to use but when it is being used by the other cottage it becomes a nuisance with dogs barking at each other but we would recommend the accommodation and would return

The owners are very welcoming and are available if needed but not intrusive. The cottage has everything you need to make your stay very comfortable. Along with the information booklet were books games and maps which were very useful. We also received a welcome pack of goodies milk, bread, butter, jams, biscuits hot chocolate sachets and treats for our dog. I cannot recommend this highly enough! The Lion pub two miles away is lovely, serving excellent food in a beautiful setting. There is plenty of outside seating and dogs are also allowed inside in the top bar There is an out door bar and pizza oven where they cook and serve delicious pizzas and a shallow river that runs beside the pub that people were paddling in. You will not be disappointed to stay here and enjoy the local facilities.

  • "This property is truely delightful, spacious and well situated."

We had a very friendly welcome for the owner, Sally, who introduced us to The Mill Granary. Nothing was to much trouble and she had kindly left some basic provisions, such as, milk, bread, butter, jam and even some treats for our four legged friend. An initial supply of wood was also available for the log burning stove, Lots of good information was given describing local information, such as places to eat and maps for walks. The surrounding area had plenty of good walks over farmland and through forests. Great to get away from the hustle and bustle of a city. With stables and horses very close to the property, our 2 year old Spaniel needed to be on her lead just outside of the property. This was not a problem, as there is also a very large fenced off field adjacent, which she was able to exercise on. As a precaution, we only let our dog off of her lead in the field early in the morning and later at night, when the horses had been taken into the stables. This field is perfect if you are wanting to train your dog’s recall. We only had a short stay but would have loved to have stopped longer. We would certainly not hesitate to return again.

The fridge was stocked with milk, jams and mineral water, and there was a lovely basket of goodies (panettone, cookies, hot chocolates etc.) and they'd left us some Christmas presents (including one for the dog!) under the tree. Thank you so much! We'd love to return and would highly recommend.
